Hello i think you don't need any apk ,simply turn down the volume while has put headphones Why then only lowers the tension that I listen to music up to scratch....

otherwise you can mod your gs3 with a new kernel like siyah and adjust the volume levels as you prefer!

[Q] More precise volume control?

The media volume in android only has 15 volume levels, 0 being no volume and 15 being max volume. Is there any way to make it so I have say 30 or 100 volume levels so that I can have more precise volume control? Or to add the abbility to change the volume with moving a bar like on the iPhone?
When listening to music it is often the case that one volume level is too quiet and the next one higher is too loud.
Samsung devices can do this in voodoo control. But other device, I'm not too sure.
You can try to use preamp built in music player. Tune the volume yourself.

I'm looking for a OS-wide solution
PowerAMP has this feature with the preamp, but I wanna use the stock app.
Maybe a mod for the stock app which add a volume bar into the user interface?

I will review the program, if it helps to have a little annoying because if it is half does not sound to me that both the headphones and less on the speaker, sounds a lot more and x8 leaves me in the sound back
The In-Call Volume on Xperia Ray is VERY low both in Ear Speaker and Loud Speaker. It is very difficult to hear the other person if your hearing is not perfect. It is a horrible situation and no fix in sight! But if I find something I will post it. I hope someone can help.
Music etc on loudspeaker works fine.

PowerAmp

Anybody know why powerAmp music players volume level is reduced when equalizer preset in changed to 'extreme bass' or 'soft bass'..?
actually I don't like dspmanager that's why am using powerAmp
I use player pro + dsp pack , that's amazing
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda premium
because that's the way it's supposed to be.You can notice that even at your audio system home.If you can turn off the bass and you'll see that sound from other speakers will improve.
Anyways,I use power amp too,in my opinion it's the best.the volume reduces in order to not ruin the sound by adding pledges. You can turn off the limit by pressing limit button and move up the first channel from equalizer bar.Your sound will be very distorted.
Extreme bass and those things are especially for good headphones. It's obviously you can't feel the bass or something on a phone ))

Low volume

The volume when playing music is really low on the SGS 3. On my Nexus S the volume was great but going outside listening to music on the SGS 3 with the ear phones in cannot block out the traffic noise which is a real pain. The volume is turned all the way up.
Is there any way to boost the volume?
Something wrong ??
Earphones stock
sound level 5 is to loud indoors for me .
Sound mods
Volume in settings sound .
Or Volume + app
Or DSP manager from themes section
Or Franco kernel .

[Q] music player with independent volume level

Hi.
Are there music player apps for android that have an option in the settings that allows the application to set the volume level independent
of other music player apps?
The idea is that I want to play music in one audio player at a relatively low volume, while playing an audiobook in a different audio player
at a higher volume level.
So far most of the apps I've tried only seem able to access the main volume level that applies to all apps (like BSPlayer and jetAudio).
greetings and thanks in advance for any suggestions, Niek
Did you try PowerAmp ?
I'm not 100% sure the volume control is independant tho.

I didn't try poweramp yet, but I'm interested if someone can confirm whether poweramp indeed has an option for this in the
settings that allows the volume of poweramp to be set independent of the main volume.
Maybe I can find out by installing the trial version...

Given that there are so many volume manager apps, you'd expect there to be at least one that offers the capability to manage
the volume of specific apps, rather than managing the generic 'media volume' that applies to all apps.

I can testify that you can do this with PowerAmp. In the EQ settings it has a preamp slide, which will allow you to make it louder or quieter independent of system volume.

That is indeed a kind of partial solution. jetAudio also has preamp slider and that significantly reduces the volume relative to the volume level
of other audio apps, but it doesn't seem the perfect solution, compared to actually having a regular volume slider that only applies to a specific app, because I think that would allow the volume to be set even lower than the preamp slider allows.
Still, good to know poweramp also has such a preamp slider. I guess it can also be used in combination with reducing all the EQ settings to get the volume down even lower.
