I know its late and you probably have your answer already, but the lumia 920 does not have haptic feedback on the keyboard at this moment. I just got one, and I wish it did. it does have the feedback on the back, and home button press, so I may not have found it yet.

Different sound for SMS delivery report

Hi,
could anybody help me with changing of sound for SMS delivery report?
I've already tryed SMS Report Eraser from JGUI witch is'nt working on my LEO.
Anybody can sugest me solution?
I'm sending loads of texts everyday so I desperatly need to sort this problem.
Please help ...
this bugs the hell out of me, would love to find a way around it
Search for SMSDR Fix.
unfortunetly SMSDR Fix isn't workin as well ...
Anyone who has a solution for this?
it's really bugging me out...
I want to hear it when I have an SMS message, even if the phone is far away from me.
But why does the delivery report tone need to be the same? this I do not need to hear, just a pop or even silent would be more than enough

i think, you people dont know your phone well
go to settings/menu/all settings/sounds and notifications/notifications/events: (there is a dropdown from phone:incoming call.. here)....message:send succeeded....change sound to whatever you want....bet you did not see this...
actually there was some reg tweak or cab to enable more hidden notifications and sounds to be displayed here...search for that also
some people just don't respond back...it makes me wonder....did they sell off their leodroid..??

I WAS ABOUT TO REPLY THE SAME !! most ppl don't know their phones cuz they most deal with sense settingsnot original WinMo settings
But i assume most people ask for solutions, when you give it to them if it worked they never come back, but if it didn't they return and ask for another solution .. IMO

[Q] disappering messages ?

hopefully someone here can helpl
after receiving sms/text msg I get a pop-up and then the msg seem to disappear. I`ve checked my setting but can`t find anything wrong.
I\ve downloaded some cabs this weekend (manilla, skins and so on) and maybe this have caused it. Now I\m hoping that one of you have similar experiences and have a quick fix. If there is something wrong with the cabs i`ve downloaded the forum prob wants to know also.
Really don`t want to reset my hd2 now.

Haptic feedback broken?

Hey all.
I've recently noticed that none of my keyboards vibrate when I press a key. Along with that, the stock Sony KB doesn't seem to have the option to turn it on/off in the settings.
Did Sony disable vibration in the 3.2.1 update or is my Tablet borked?
Sent from my GT-I9100
No replies?
Could someone at least test their keyboard vibration and say if it works or not?
Sent from my GT-I9100
Mine doesnt work but i cant be sure it ever has.
Mine doesn't vibrate either, As far as I remember I don't think it ever did.
It's just not build into the tablet.
Thanks for the replies.
I could have sworn the keyboard used to vibrate but I guess not. Puts my mind at ease

It has never and never will vibrate.
Guys I distinctly recall haptic working on the demo tablet in Singapore (Bugis Junction Sony Store). It's not working on my tab currently. I did however update the firmware immediately after purchase sony that could be it?...

I posted this issue on the Sony community thread today:
"Vibration mode on the non-3G Sony Tablet S (SGPT111GB)
Topic started on 10-Jan-2012 23:27
in Sony Tablet
I discovered something today, Sony Tablet S (SGPT111GB) which is a non-3G version has the ability to vibrate in applications that can use this option.
I was looking for a alternative to the built-in TV remote control app and I came across "BlueIR" in the android market (free). unfortunately it's not suitable for me in the UK but whilst playing with the pre-installed virgin media cable box profile low and behold each time I pressed any of the software remote control buttons, anywhere onscreen, I received a vibrate/haptic feedback confirmation which I checked in the options was available.
The strange thing is though once I played with it a little more vibration/haptic stopped and I couldn't get it back again or test it in the settings options.
Anyway just wanted to share and to see if anybody else got this functionality working in their Sony tablet S, non-3G obviously, as I was unaware this tablet had this functionality?"
Still early days for an answer on the Sony community forum but as I'm waiting to see if anybody else is having this issue so when I read this post on this thread I thought it best that chime in here.
UPDATE:
having slept on this issue I decided to uninstall "BlueIR" and reinstall it to see if I could replicate the haptic feedback but had no success so make of that what you will but I definitely have the functionality on the first install so we need to see if there is a haptic motor in the hardware of any of the Sony Tablet S models.
I'll have a check on Google for any of the tear down videos and report back.
UPDATE#2:
I've sent a e-mail to the developer of "BlueIR universal remote for android" to see if he can shed any light on this functionality which I of course will update here if and when I get a reply.
trouble finding "teardown reviews" that don't repeat Tech Republic
Most of the blogging sites Google brings up seem to be just repeating the teardown on Tech Republic.com website so I've left a question with "Bill Detwiler , Head Technology Editor of TechRepublic", but as it was September 2011 when the teardown was done we will have to see if the article is still being monitored.
Anyone else got suggestions?

System Dump - Notifications

Howdy,
I come from the land of Android, G S III. I've been searching on google, and the forum here an no luck. Is there anyone has has a dump of the notification sounds? I'd like to use them, but no luck finding them. I'd appreciate it greatly.

I've come across the same issue. I've tried every trick I know of, and after a while I got creative enough to try really stupid ideas. Nothing worked. To my understanding Windows Phone 8 does not allow for custom messaging tones.
Someone message me + correct me if I'm wrong here.

I appreciate the notion, though I want to do the opposite:
I'm looking to get the stock notifications off the Nokia Lumia 920 [like in a zip file, etc] that I can use on my G S III.

[Q] Custom Vibration Patterns

I posted this in Android Q&A and it quickly got lost... so hopefully someone here will know. I asked in Beans' thread as well because that's the ROM I'm using.
Searched google/XDA extensively. Does anyone know the milliseconds used in Android's heartbeat vibration for calls? I want to mimic it for text messages in the AOSP messaging app.
This is what I have so far:
0,225,300,225,1000,225,300,225
It doesn't feel quite right but it's hard to adjust please help if you can! thanks in advance.
I got a vibration tester now but I still can't get it right.

This is super delayed, but the closest I've gotten is
0,100,250,125,900,100,250,125

Thanks! I haven't had this phone for almost 9 months but I really appreciate it -- I'll use it on my phone now.
