It won't be released for T mobile in the us, it is exclusive to at&t. Whether other not tmobile in Europe will carry it is another question entirely

International version on Oct. 22nd, Carrier versions aprox. 1-2 month after that.

I read online last night that the One VX (or whatever it is) and the new Windows 8 devices will be out for ATT in November. I really don't see why the X+ wouldn't come out around or AT the same time. My upgrade is in November and after getting my Vivid I am very anxiously waiting for the upgrade and that phone to come out.

UK Release Date

Had a search but no joy.
Can anybody shed some light on the UK release date of the Evo 3D? Getting conflicting reports of July, August and September depending on the site and store.
HTC claim that the release is this month, but I would have thought tariffs would be showing by now.

You can't trust release dates, you can sign up for updates here:

Message from HTC customer service:
"I cannot provide you with any exact date at the time as it depends on mobile operators as well. Most likely the phone will be available by the end this month."
Most stores on the interwebs say end of August to mid-September. I guess we'll just have to wait until it actually goes on sale for a release date.

ICS release?

When do you think we will see a.official release.of ICS

Sometime before 2013....if we're lucky. HTC hasn't announced anything other than "early" 2012. Which bares no designation, and since HTC is notorious for delivering updates months after they're originally slated.
My guess would be around March or April.

I am already impressed with the speed of updates on this phone. My last phone (HTC Desire on US Cellular) had only 1 update. It was launched in august 2010 and didn't get froyo until feb 8th 2011. No maintenance updates in between. The GSM version of the same phone in Europe got froyo when the US Cellular version launched.

Totally know the feeling. Didn't get too much love from Motorola on my droid 2.

Really hoping to have it by May, would be cool.
While I would enjoy ICS, I am really wanting S-OFF more than ICS for the benefits it would allow, such as updating the radio to truly work globally fully. I did get into HTC Elevate, so I'm watching that for further information.
I wanna guess by the summer.
Probably sometime near 2013...

I would say relatively soon... The leaks we have run pretty damn well if you ask me. Most of the problems are more minor bugs and some are due to the fact that we can't flash new firmware associated with ICS like radios

April 15 th, 2012!
Release
Since the White Sensation was just announced, and it is to be released with ICS on March 1st, I'd like to think that we would have it by the end of April.

Isn't that the same date someone posted two years ago for the OG Droid to get Froyo?
Just a date for general use, eh?
We should have a poll party for the update, will call it UPDATE POLL and there should be a prize.

Will photon receive it?

A lot of speculation about it.. Supposedly third quarter of 2012 according to offical releases. Assuming you mean official release, if not we already have CM9/MIUI/AOKP all ICS based roms. Here is some reading for you about it

Hello,
While some do not believe it will see the light of day due to the Photon being EOL, I truly believe we will see the Update as it has been announced. I am honestly more concerned about whether or not Sprint is going to release a Motorola LTE Android Handset. While I can upgrade as of next Month (last Sprint Premier Annual Upgrade), I am planning on waiting it out until an ideally Motorola Quad Core LTE Handset is released. If not that, I will sadly get the iPhone 5, but I really do not want it to come to that. Definitely not getting the HTC EVO 4G LTE.
Cheers,
JJ

that expired December of last year...that guy really doesn't know what he's talking about, but it was a program for customers that have been with sprint for more then 10 years with a compatible plan

Sprint Premier customers who would've become eligible this year have one more upgrade even though the program is gone. Expires at the end of the year IIRC.

That's not for att
Might as well go onto the international forums thread and flash the 4.2.2 leak chus if any ota release that's said to be coming will hit the international version first. Us u.s people have to wait longer chus were stuck with carriers which they take so long to release.
Did you even read the article?

Verizon HTC One only version in north America with 4.2 why?

What is taking so long for north America to get 4.2 for the HTC One. Lots have said it had something to do with Verizon but then why does Canada not have it either. The phone is listed by HTC as running 4.2. The rest of the world started getting it early July, what's the hold up?
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
HTC just announced that U.S. HTC One's will be skipping 4.2.2 and will be updated to 4.3 instead by the end of September. Hopefully it's true.
