Hi everyone,
So, I just by a 2nd Neo, everything is ok but the front camera doesn't work anymore.
I asked to the seller, and the answer is "This phone is for HongKong's Product, so the front camera is disable"
That answer is right?
Anybody has a same problem?
Can fix it?

The seller is trying to fool you, it cannot be disabled, try to check if its not broken.
Go to dialer in phone and type *#*#7378423#*#*
service menu will load up then click on service tests & then secondary camera.
if its working fine, then just repair your phone using SEUS or Flash the new rom.
if its not working, return it back.

Hi, the xperia NEO doesnot. Have a front camera, those are all the sensors in the front.
However the xperia neo V does have a front camera, both of these phones are completely identical the only difference is the NEO V has a front camera thats what the V is for (video chat)

Thats weird, because my NEO has a front camera and this specification for the NEO (hallon) has the secondary camera listed as well.
I suppose the NEO L has a speaker as its for LISTENING to a phone call from. The L being for listening

No friend, Now i moved in to GB but same result. I don't think this is a Sony ICS issue !!!.
Also when i unlock my phone, that time only i am seeing this issue. After unlock phone works normal.

yes, but most of time I can't swype, because touchscreen driver read it as click. Maybe we must go to service center. I know there is two types of touchscreen Sony and Sharp, maybe one of them is defective.
Very often I can't pick up the phone because of that bug. Also I see that pointer moves himselve.
"Bootloader unlock" may case of void company warranty !!!, what we can do now ?
If we get this mobile to them they will findout right ?
unfortunately, yes if your unlock your bootloader by official way.
I read on the sony.mobile that the replacement does not help with this issue.

I had the same issue when I was on stock GB. But after I stated using CM9 and now AOKP I don't have the issue!

i had the same issue for some times, now work normally. i haven't do anything.
i think is the digitizer that is faulty or another hardware problem because i try to wipe the phone standing on ICS, i try CM9 and GB but always the same.
at the moment i'm on stock ICS but seems ok.

Ok, i ll try CM9 or AOKP today.
I have Xperia mini pro with bootloader locked. I turn off the phone and when I turned it on touchscreen and soft keys were not working! I have tried repair from sus and PC companion but nothing any ideas?
If u r using stock kernel and stock rom the problem is your phone's touch.

I have a similar problem with my Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro SK17i. The phone works on the latest stock ROM ICS 4.0.4 build 4.1.B.0.587.
Brief discription of the problem with the phone: on random moments the touchscreen does not respond. When the touchscreen does not respond, the capacitive buttons are lighting up and also not working. Also when activating the phone with the home or power button there is a delay noticeable before the display 'wakes up'
I have sent the phone twice already to the Sony customer service center without any result. First solution reported by sony repair center: update software. Second feedback reported by sony repair center: update software + functional test. Unfortunately the phone still has the same problems.
My phone is still in warranty. Therefore I am very unhappy with this useless phone.
So sending back to service? I don't know.
Is there somebody who also recognizes this problem and knows a fix for this issue? All help is very much appriciated.
I think we should buy a new phone!

A week ago I noticed something odd about the camera, when I go to take photos appear one pink spots on the image, zoom and points do get larger as it appears in the photos. Would anyone have been the same? What I can do?

i havent experienced that while using camera fix + cybershot mod 5.7.2 + bravia engine 2 mod

I've tried everything, flash the device with different firmware versions 0.75, 0.59, 0.544 and the same problem occurs, the cellphone root, I used the camera fix mod and Cibershot mod and I get the same results.

My friend, I used everything I've tried several versions of the cybershot and even that solves the problem, I changed the libraries of the camera with the camera fix mod is in here in the forum.

Have you tried to clean the lens? This doesnt looks like dead sensor pixel... Get a clean sheet of white paper and try that after you clean the optics. It might be ok...

No my friend, not the lens is dirty, own cell problem, because with the video camera pink points are moving a few millimeters
If software fixes and different firmwares don't work, you'll have to take it for repair.
You should still have warranty because xperia p isn't that old

Today i am buying a Xperia P phone with a broken motherboard so i will use the display from that Xperia to replace it with mine.
Has anyone before opened/disassembled a Xperia P, is it hard and are there any pic or video tutorials?
I am not afraid to open it by myself but i want to inform myself first, i am also doing PC, PS3 and laptop disassemblys and repairs (not working but i know it) so i think that it won't cause me too much problems opening a modern smartphone?
I've looked a few videos and pictures of how to open a Xperia S so i think it has not that much differences ....

Thanks, i followed the video and dissasembled everything, but it doesn't show how to take out the screen, because i am stuck at the last part and don't know what to do next, no more screws or anything and i don't want to try it with force :/
Look at Xperia u disassembly on YouTube, the guy takes the screen out, it may be the same so maybe it can help you, cant provide a link but it's not hard to find

i flashed the pureXz2 v10.0 and it dont work...Somedays ago, my touch screen got worst with 2 lines instead of 1...i think i gonna change the touch screen/digitalizer, but i guess that i will cost a lot...

Bro did you use ur phone in water?? Or opened your phone's flap in moist place?
Your phone screen has been infected by water I think. Bcoz I too had same problem

i used in water but that was 2 months ago and the flap, i dont use it,bcoz i use a magnetic cable charger, to not open the flap...if u have the same problem upload a screen capture by using the test service of the phone,

I got my phone repaired by sony centre at a free of cost (Insurance company paid the fee). But the screenshot resembled my phone error too, except my phone had two non working place/auto touch.
Anyone know if this problem gets worse over time ?
