Then the easy way is impossible for me. Betw thx for the answer.

why don't you develop your own rom there are all the resources out there that you need just make good use of them .... instead of saying press the button instead that way it counts

Ask stupid questions here! Noobs here! Not dev topics!

This is a topic for all of your stupid questions to be answered rather than in the dev topics which is clearly pissing developers off ^^
Ask whatever here, just NOT IN THE DEV TOPIC!
First question: Why do you created this topic? You really think that noobs will post their noob questions in this topic? Noob is noob and nobody can tell him where they have to place their stupid question.
If you don't test it you can't say that it doesn't work

But I think you are joking
Noob's question: If you port Android 2.3 on Wave succesfully, does will work ICS without problems? Need whether working with GSM, Camera, drivers again?
Sorry for my noob's english language
Noob question, already posted on dev but not answeared:
Is the GB a Cyanogen Mod version? I heard of something like that sometime ago in Froyo thread and never heard of it again... So when I say GB i thought it was it....
So is it a GB CM version? IF it isn't, why don't just make one? Wouldn't it be better?

When the kernel (drivers) are made then it works more or less for all versions.
The main probleme is then to port the new version and that is a hard job too (this is what Trigrouzen is doing).
I'm not a dev but I think that what I told you is right or something near the truth.

No it is a Galaxy S ROM.
Make a Cyanogen ROM is work and devs have to choose between them since it is a lot of work and that making 2 versions is not resonable as they are no full port for the moment.
I'm not sure but I think that porting a Galaxy S firmware is easier since the kernel is based on this device.
See! Trick worked on some more intelligable noobs lol
But those who are noobs that have sense ask here too! At least then there is less clog up in dev topics...

It annoys me that me, as a noob, that I can quite happily read the first post of the Dev topics and not litter it with endless "when this, when that" questions because they ask you not to. Why can't people understand this? When an update is ready for release it will be said at the beginning of the topic. Stop asking questions and let the Devs get on with what they are doing, which most of the time they do FOR FREE.
If a free service to which you have no obligation slightly inconveniences you then you aren't really in a position to complain about it. simple.
Anyways I'm out, sold my waveII on ebay for a fair buck and now moving onto the galaxy W which looks quite interesting.
Keep up the good work Razyre! You've given this project the jump start it needed.

Your question goes to far in the future since the most important thing is to get a good kernel ( the Badadroid team is working on this)
For the moment Tigrouzen is on the way to port Gingerbread.
Then maybe later it can be port if the project is a success.
To sum up, ICS is not the priority.

No, sorry. The Nexus S is an entirely different smartphone with different hardware and drivers. You will brick your phone if you try.
And to all the senior members reading this guy's question: don't blame him. He is an honest and polite noob, and I'm sure searching for "Nexus S ICS update for Galaxy Ace" in Google won't give satisfying results.
Go easy on this guy. :)
I know that but I want to confirm it.
so where can I found original ICS (obliviously some modified done with dev. to run in galaxy ace) but original UI (eg. Dialer, lock screen, Message... etc) for galaxy ace

i would recommend you not to flash that thing as you are very new to rom stuffs or even droid
cm9 is alpha stage not for daily use..
you better stick to stock or flash cm7 based roms
I recommend you do not flash CM9(ICS) yet...
Its under development and there are many issues regarding this
thanks for your suggestion but I just want to see ICS in my galaxy ace that's why I searching for that only.
and i am quite happy with stock rom and with some laucher with it.
now I only wait for ICS for galaxy ace form dev. till no query.

What do you mean by "keep looking" ?...I am looking and trying to find it (its not that I am not trying)...searched the xda forum and ROM index....but couldn't find it that's why posted a question here...
what's the point of looking when things aren't available ? For example: Just like...what's the point of searching for ipad 10 when it is not available yet ?...so its better to directly ask the community developers...which I am doing in this topic..
I google the iPad10. I conclude there is no iPad10. I don't write a letter to Amazon asking why they don't stock the iPad10.
Crisis and useless thread averted.
well I am sorry ...I wasn't trying to be rude or something...I was just trying to make a point..All I was saying is that I am trying and tried searching for it and when I couldn't find it I thought about asking as a question here.. that's all.. since 4.2 is out with LG Nexus 4.. so just curious when it will be available for i9100..
It's okay, I forgive you, I only hit them so they'll change... I'm not a bad person... I only try to help them... I'm always sorry after I hit her.... I always cry... I'm sorry I only want to help... It's not really me... I'm sorry....

Come on man, hasn't it been enough now? Stop asking and first read if you want to know answers to your questions that are asked by (too) many people by now.
Come on dude , just check Sammobile.com for latest firmware releases as soon as 4.2 will be officially released for i9100 , custom roms will be developed too .. so have patience and stop asking for update as none of us will release it , only samsung will and when they will release the update for i9100 , everyone will come to know , even you
If it`s going to be available it`s going to be one of the hottest threads on the SII Forum on XDA like the CM10 Thread is now.
I suggest you follow codeworkx and other Exynos device maintainers on Google+
This is what codeworkx had to say today about the I9100 and Android 4.2:

That's the whole point why questions like 'Will it be available?' are useless and anoying. If so, then you will notice in the development section. If not, then there's no need to ask because otherwise you would know from a bit reading and searching.

Stock ROM is STILL the stablest and WILL be still the stablest.
If you search for the best ROM, there is NO best ROM.
I ask this because I have other devices and in other devices there are plenty of stable and fully functional custom roms.....
Also, I do a little bit of moding on roms, specially on MIUI, therefore I don't understand what is your surprise when people ask a question such as this....

There is not so much open source drivers for our device especially hw gl drivers. Because of this the custom roms and the stock based roms cant be stable as the stock one. If broadcom releases the drivers bieltv waiting for, may be the cm 7 will be the first faster and stable rom that we were waiting so long...

Also, 2 questions:

B) can we change the battery icon to percentage within stock settings?
I can't find anywhere.

No, you can't because it designed to run bada and you need to make android rom yourself for your phone, which is not possible as it requires high technical knowledge like compiling a rom, compiling kernel for your device using source of another device! You should have good knowledge of soldering pins or wires to flash boot loader on main board by opening the phone! The results may not be guaranteed, you might also brick your cellphone.
