Dropped 3D.... Backlight dim or not working.

Dropped my 3D, backlight is very dim or none at all. Do I replace the LCD or digitizer? Or, is there a separate light? Any help is greatly appreciated....

I believe the backlight is part of the LCD itself. You are going to have to open the phone up to fix it anyway, so you might as well open it up and just see if maybe a connector came loose or something first before you buy a new lcd.
You need to order a replacement LCD if you don't have or want to go the insurance route. I replaced the LCD and the digitizer (glass screen) on my wife's EVO, not too hard if you follow the videos on Youtube.
Thanks

Capacitive buttons Galaxy S4

Hello!
I was wondering how the LEDs in the GS4 work. Are they white LED or other?
If they can be RGB how can I change the color?
Cheers

Pretty sure that the OS has nothing to do with the color of the buttons or provide any way to change the value (besides off and on). Other than dissassembling the phone and putting colored stickers behind the buttons...but the way it is designed, you'd have a huge hassle removing the LCD assembly without breaking anything and then needing to re-adhese the assembly back to the frame. Unless you have money to spare (LCDs for this phone are EXPENSIVE) and/or are a very experienced tech (I fix phones for a living and definitely would not go through this...) then I think you'll just have to live with it...
The lights are housed in the soft key flex cable that is sandwiched between the bottom of the LCD assembly and the housing.

How do I replace my phone's LCD screen and digitizer?

To add a bit of context, I dropped my phone into a dry sink while using it at faucet level. The height was around 4 inches and the LCD screen and digitizer broke. Not quite sure if the digitizer is broken but touch inputs are only received on certain regions of the screen (a statement on part quality?). The front glass panel is unscathed if that helps. So how would I go about disassembling and replacing an LCD display and digitizer on this phone? Also, where could I buy these parts?
You can go to a repair center to fix it.
And... You can buy the screen in Aliexpress just out "gionee s6" in the search bar and down the list. I don't know if you cand find digitizwr too.

Digitizer or full LCD Assembly replacement

Hello,
My ZUK Z2 fell from a small height and the touch screen has the usual issue that works only for 2 sec after unlocking.
Can you suggest where to get a new Screen-Digitizer asembly; I wan a genuine one or one that is the closest possible to genuine. I have heard stories that some screens from aliexpress do not support multitouch and the LCD colors are off.
Can you suggest anything tested that ships to EU? (Greece).
Thank you
No one has ever changes a screen in this phone? Come on guys! Don't be shy! ;-)
