Hi guys
I'm currently running 2.1 Global and when I record a video on HD mode it records fine but when I playback the recorded video its crackles and stalls.
Anyone else have this issue?

Not a clue.
My HD recording is exactly the same as the OP. Amazingly poor unless I have something close to halogen lighting. WVGA records much better and clearer on my x10i
Actually I might have a clue, is it set to record in HD? Having just set mine at multimedia message, it only records 10 seconds, and is as bad as yours.

Unfortunately it is set to record in HD and as Fiddich has said it seems to work so much better on WVGA.
Ironically when I play back a video shot in MMS mode its clearer and more smooth than the HD setting
I just installed v27 HTC keyboard and i have a problem with the smileys...For some reason the smileys don't fit in the screen..I mean that i have 10 smileys and only 7 of them appear cause the others aren't on the screen for me to touch them..Is it a resolution problem?How can I fix it??

i did that also,but same problem..After 7 smileys the other 3 won't appear beacause they don't fit on the screen..It should be like the picture in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=624416!!Do i have to download a version with another resolution?Low resolution for example?

It's not an LCD screen -- and if anything it looks over saturated not dull.

try.actually i did a test full brightness test, playing movie on sony xperia S, galaxy nexus prime and S3 at the same time.
S3 is noticeably dull. resolution was on ok.

iphone 3.5" screen is super small, compare to S3 4.6" cannot see much.

What video player are you using? Are you using the stock player? If so the stock player has its own brightness control. While a video is playing press menu then select settings, there is a video brightness setting.

Just put the following question before youself and you will find the answer to your ques.
[Q] If one can record HD videos with low end devices by installing app or otherwise, then why all others are paying money for Devices having High End Camera?

that was not due to a limitation of hardware..it's just Google released it not having the media profile for 720p..
Must download this full resolution .png files.. 7mb above size... Thank u Android stock wallpapers team for this great wallpaper

FYI qHD and QHD are different resolutions. Just thought I'd put that out there.
qHD = quarter HD which is lower than 720p
QHD = quad HD which is higher than 1080p
