Press is very nice, but the article UI is very choppy. Also, it needs better in-app article expansion.

Images shown on news are low res... on the old app they were high res...

[Q] Higher quality screenshots?

Hello,
Is there a way to take higher quality screenshots on Android devices?
Here are screens from my HOX and Xoom:
http://i.imgur.com/E5YHQ.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/q0Jm7.png
I think both of them could maybe be sharper, and more vivid, as they look a bit pixelated or something (no idea what that's called) in areas. Like for example, look at the Google search bar on the Xoom.
Thanks if anyone can help! :cyclops:

Don't think it it works on Tegra devices, also it's one of those apps which adds a 'Search' shortcut to your desktop, so for that reason as well, I won't be using it.
Tried Screenshot UX on tablet, but looks the same.

It's not an LCD screen -- and if anything it looks over saturated not dull.

What video player are you using? Are you using the stock player? If so the stock player has its own brightness control. While a video is playing press menu then select settings, there is a video brightness setting.

After reading the comments was about to suggest this. You beat me to it. Hope it helps the OP.
Anyway, why anyone would use anything other than mx video player is beyond me.

Super high resolution wallpapers.

I would like to get another thread started sharing only high resolution wallpapers for the nexus 10. Here are some I found that look awesome, use wallpaper wizardrii to set the wallpaper using stretch portrait with no scroll....

You might consider linking to the images, as XDA will clobber the quality if you attach them as normal ..
EDIT: Nice Walls BTW ..

Konachan.com has a large library of anime-related wallpapers at various resolutions (found a good bit at or above 2560x1600). There's some explicit images there too, so if that isn't your thing, you may want to filter them, or use the safe version of the site.
Awesome thanks for sharing guys.
Go to Google images, search any image above 12 megapixels. Worked well for me to find a couple .

1000 HD wallpapers

For those who are into photography and especially HDR photography, Trey Ratcliff has made available for free, 1000 of his pictures in full resolution.

Not an oxymoron at all. HDR is just another format of capturing an image... well, at least three images.
I'm new to the nexus 10 but every time I try to save one of these pics and set it as a wallpaper I'm getting a force close error. What am I doing wrong?

Worse than Swype, much slower and inaccurate than Swype. If you're a super fast Swyper then no need to install.
Little slower than Flow, little inaccurate than it.
Better than any other Swipe keyboard available atm on Play or elsewhere.

Pretty much agree with this. I'm not sure why the stock Google keyboard receives so much rave reviews. I guess maybe cause it's free, but it feels exactly like a stock keyboard and is rather feature lean. I find the keyboard sorely lacking in extra convenience features that the other big name keyboards have, like Swiftkey, Swype, or Touchpal.

Not about price, fanboys. If Google releases 'Google Underwear' kids will jump and think for a second it's real
Anyway, it's the engine, Swype is far ahead than anyone in that race, and as long as they are ahead no need to waste time on other keyboards, unless you're a tapper.
