Diztronic - HTC Droid DNA

Is it me or is this the best case out for the DNA.
I just got mine today and DAMN this case feels nice.
Sent from my HTC DROID DNA.

i'm thinking of getting it but some people said it added a lil bit of bulk to it, and i don't want anymore bulk lol

I've always used diztronic cases and I must say the DNA one is the best one yet. It fits super tight and covers the power and volume buttons too. They are even easy to push through the case. This case is also thinner than the Verizon rubber cases so it doesn't add much bulk to the phone at all.
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk 2

This is my first case from diztronic and I love it. The case is slim and it is a tight fit. The phone is easier to grip.... AND it weighs the same.
Overall I like it and is by far the best case that I have owned for the DNA.

I was going to get the Diztronic one but ended up with this one instead because it came in blue.

Is the Diztronic soft rubber or is it the stiffer plastic kind?

I've had it for awhile. Its ok. Doesn't add much bulk at all. Its fairly stiff but not terribly so. For the price its a pretty good deal.

It's hard plastic with a matte finish which makes handling the phone a lot better.
Sent from my HTC DROID DNA.

So it should be the same material as the Fosmon case I bought then. Too bad they don't come in other colors other than black and pink.

i've got the cruzer lite case which combines a matte finish and a high gloss silicone, and to be honest, the high gloss part is better grip and less slippage than the matte. my verizon high gloss silicone case never slips around, and i'm afraid the diztronic one will.

It's more like a hard rubberized plastic because it is somewhat flexible.

+1 for the cruzerlite. Love this case. Now just to find a screen protector that doesn't go edge to edge and get destroyed like my skinomi

I love this diztronic case maybe my 10 throughout all the different phones that I've purchased. Only issue is I took it off for the first time in 5 days and it seems to be leaving marks on the back.
Droid DNA

Well that's understandable... The case is a tight fit on the phone so I would expect some marks to come from it.

Very true my back says diztronic now along with beats.. Lol
Droid DNA

I ha e the ditz too. Picked up on Amazonfor like 11 at the time. Question: in the lower left corner. Is the seam really ridgid. I have a black and pink one. Same design flaw. Its a good case. Kinda miss my incipio dual cover. The seam seems like its where they were molded on a sheet and tore apart. Kinda like model car parts. Am I the only one ? With shoddy seams?
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk 2

Well this is the case that i got too and i love the look and feel of it on the phone, but i really wish it had already come with the cut out for the rear notification light and the speaker cut out was a bit more centered

I just got this case off of Amazon a few days ago. For the price, I really don't think it can be beat. I personally love it. It's thin, sturdy, light weight, and it looks good. Pretty cheap and good investment to protect your big investment. I got a few little scratches on the back of my phone a few weeks ago and I realized I really did probably need a case, so I decided on this one. I'm happy with it!
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using xda app-developers app

Good to hear!
After having the case for a while, I have noticed that it adds some bulkyness to the phone...I love the feel of the case but I think that I will look for something thinner with the same feel.

Razr is uncomfortable to hold - a case as a solution?

I just recently picked up a Razr and so far the phone is great. The only issue I have is that the phone is almost too thin. Its pretty hard to hold securily with one hand and navigate with your thumb. I'm finding the best way is to told it with your left hand and navigate with your right hand. Not really the best solution.
After playing with some other 4.3" phones and not having any issues holding them (the Bionic for example is much more comfortable in my hand) I'm thinking the phone might actually be too thin. I'm hoping someone has found a case that makes holding the phone more comfortable.
Any ideas?
I have just received my Otterbox Defender case and the rubber outer sleeve makes it much easier to hold. The case itself adds bulk to the once so slender phone but to be honest I love it

much comfortable to hold the phone when naked. i got the otter box commuter and less than 24hrs i returned it. having a hard time texting and the lint on the rubber kills the beauty of the phone.

Found when it was naked it would become uncomfortable after a while and now I can also reach the very top left without danger of it slipping. Do agree that the rubber is a lint magnet

Another vote for a cheap TPU. No lint and good grip but takes away from the beauty of the phone. Makes the phone seem really big once the thinness is hidden.

Hmmm you say its uncomfortable to hold in one hand and use...a case wont change that the razr may only have 4.3in screen it has nearly a 5in build and a case would only make it bigger although I will say the otterbox does add a lil weight that helped me get over my need for some heft...but since I can palm a basketball I have no problem navigating the razr real estate
Picked up OtterBox commuter and love it so far. Threw a screen protector on and good to go.

But the only problem is, I like the Kevlar back of the phone. Plus, a cover adds bulk to the device...

IMO, it is necessary to have a case because a naked Razr is slippery. And that's how your Razr will get hurt the most: dropping it.

I agree with ukbt. See my post HERE for more pics and description of this Nillkin TPU case.
Much lighter and less bulky than Otterbox, etc. Plus, if you choose a transparent one, you can still see the "sexy" Kevlar back!
I had an Incipio on my Bionic and I don't recommend it. It looks the same as the Razr (open top and bottom) which always worried me. When it did finally take a spill, it got dinged up pretty good on both sides - where it was covered by the case.
Needless to say, the case was ruined afterwards. TPU all the way...

No unfortunately...There are not too many cases that You can find in white for the amaze, your best bet is ebay or amazon...the brand name ones seem to like black!!

This case has holes for the ones in the battery cover and its built like an otterbox. thats one + id like to see a in person photo though
I have it. Seems to feel just like a trident case in terms of the rubber material. The plastic part isn't as secure as I want it to be, and it feels like it'll be easily dislodged when dropped.
Overall, it's a good 2 piece case. I'm going to have to order the trident kraken when it comes in black and see how well it holds up compared to this one.
I have this case as their does not seem to be an otterbox yet.
If you don't like bulk this case is not for you.
Its pretty well designed and seems very rugged. The back is to smooth does not grab on surfaces well bit not as smooth as a regular hard abs case.
I like the rugged look and I like the "design".
However, the fitment is less than perfect.
The abs shell seems to pop off slightly in the bottom. The fit between the silcone case and the shell is not very good.
If you don't mind spending 25$ its not bad. Needs a redesign to make it worth it. Also black is only color. Which I like.
Have not done a drop test yet and hopefully I never will but I think this case will do a great job protecting and absorbing impact.
If this case was truly engineered the right way the outer case SHOULD come off when dropped to disperse the energy of the impact better.
Could be the reason for the weird flaw on my left corner that keeps wanting to slighltly pop off once in a while.

I get the same fitment issues. One thing for sure, you can drop it at about 6' height with no problem, I think the hard shell has that much flex room to help absorb hits on the side. Unfortunately it makes the shell feel flimsy and loose around the edges.

Bringing up an older thread...
I just got this case from Amazon. So far it's one of the best I have found. It was a lot cheaper on Amazon than the mall (by about $20). I only wish it had a belt clip or something.
But so far, so good... I like how it looks.
I got this case and it fits perfectly, have no idea about the fitting problems others are having. It is thick, which is actually great if you have larger hands as it makes texting earier. Also has decent grip, unlike the plastic cases that feel like they're going to shoot out of your hand.

Huge fan of this case. I had purchased an Incipio case before this and was not very happy with it. This case has a nice lip on the front side to protect the screen is very durable.
I just got this case today which is replacing my Incipio which I broke. The case fits perfectly, no issues with fit or finish at all.
The only thing I don't like about it is the slippery grip. I wish the sides were a bit tackier.

if you get any case with black silicone (trident, case-mate, otterbox, incipio, etc), the lint will be obviously visible. you can remedy that by getting a colored one

Definitely an awesome case. Am using the Matte Black version.
Cost is real good, and doesn't make the phone look bulky at all, easily slips in and out of the pocket
You may initially feel that since there is no volume rocker cut-out it would be difficult to use (some video reviews also show that), but trust me it does not feel uncomfortable at all. On the contrary, the divided volume rocker on the case actually has a nice feel to it.
Checkout this portion of a video, should give you a fair idea

Just ordered the case-mate tough case.
$28 after 20% off with '4MOM' code.
I had a hard time deciding between this one and the trident aegis case, but decided the extra $8 is worth the peace of mind of knowing the three pin holes around the camera aren't blocked and I think this case looks a bit slimmer. There isn't much information out there for the Amaze version, but the Sensation tough case is well reviewed. So I am hoping the Amaze one will be the same.
Will post some pictures when the case gets here.

leather protective case
Seem that it can protect the cellphone well enough and looks cool.

I like the Cruzerlite TPU cases/skins. Look great, $9 and change a piece on amazon . All the cutouts are perfectly placed. Also adds little to no bulk to the phone, and protects the phone from drops as it absorbs shock very well. Available in many different colors and
designs. I purchased a clear one first and was so impressed I got three more. Picked up a red, green, and blue one to go along with the clear one I already owned. I got the "androidified" design. Little android men on the cases. Also the android men are printed on the inside of the cases so they won't rub off over time. Some quick pics.

All black, hard rubber, stays on phone well, minimal thickness, easy to slide in and out of pockets, still good enough grip to make the phone easy to handle while out of pockets.
Would recommend. Simple yet stylish.

Currently I do not use a case, but have a thin one on order to see what I think of it. Feels wrong to make this phone thicker, but wanted to get some other opinions.
I use a black OtterBox. I've never worried less about dropping my phone, and it feels great in my hand. Adds a little bulk, but not bad.

I ran my iphone 4 without a case for a full 2 years. I like to live life on the edge LOL....oh I'm so glad im done with that phone.
At work (Verizon Indirect) I usually go sans case, but at home and when I'm out and about, I alternate between the cruzerlite androidified, the verizon tpu, and the otterbox commuter in white or black (but I only use the commuter when I'm going to be using my phone outside)
I always order case before I make phone purchase. Usually some TPU case if any good is not available. Then go for Mercury case if it launches as I love their cases.
But yeah, I always use case. I dont use phones for long period. In last one year I have gone through Note, One X, SGS3, Nexus 4, Note 2, Xiaomi Phone 2, and now DNA (Actually still have Xiaomi, Note 2 along with DNA ). So it is important for me to make sure my phones are in flawless condition when I sell them to friends or ebay them so I get maximum out of it
Usually end up getting 80-90% of the money I invest in phone back because they are in top condition.
Currently have a generic TPU jelly case and Nilkin is on its way.
I'm using the Ballistic SG & it is awesome love the way it fits my DNA! I just ordered the Ballistic SG Maxx to replace it since it adds a clip & the protection for the display.

Sure it adds some girth to the phone, but it protects it so very well. I dropped my phone a week after having it, with no case. Took a chip out of the glass up by the ear speaker area. I quickly looked for an OtterBox, due to having one on my Evo4G. The power button is a little hard to push, but if you load up DSBs Cubed Kernel you can use Sweep to Wake and not have to worry about that button.
Cheers!
I didn't run a case until I dropped it in the kitchen and chipped a small piece of glass.
OtterBox commuter case is on it now.
Please don't touch my "Thanks" button, it doesn't like you...
I have a case mate case with a screen protector but lately been taking case off just because the DNA feels so good in my hands without one

I want to use a case so bad because I've only had the phone two weeks and already had to order an insurance replacement because I broke one but I just can't do it...
I even bought a nice one but every time I put it on I end up taking it off after 30 minutes because I miss the feel of the phone without it lol

Went without case for awhile, love the feel and how thin the phone is, but was unhappy with the wear I appeared to be getting on soft back. Went with the shell/holster combo from verizon and use just the case. I like it, adds very little bulk compared to body glove or otterbox types and even has kickstand.
