[Q] Droid DNA international repair - HTC Droid DNA

Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone could help, I imported a Droid DNA into the UK and unfortunately I've dropped it and cracked the screen.
I've tried taking it to high street shops to have it repaired but rather predictably they cannot repair it as it's a foreign phone.
I've contacted HTC in the UK and they have also said they are unwilling to help.
Does ANYONE know of any service in the UK that will be able to repair the phone or alternatively what I can do to get it repaired?
The phone is in full working order, it's just the glass on top that has cracked.
Thanks.

[Q] T-Mo US Warranty Question

The touch screen on my HD2 has died, the screen turns on, but does not respond to any touch. At first it was just the end button, now the whole thing is dead.
Anyhow, my question is that I bought this phone full price on eBay brand new (It's the T-Mobile version).
How would I go about this to get a replacement?
Do I contact HTC or T-Mo?
Also, I don't have a receipt of the original purchase from the seller, would this be an issue at all?
Thanks guys.
I've no experience with T-Mobile but this should be helpful to you.
From what I see, you just need to contact HTC directly for warranty claims for US T-Mobile branded devices. If you lack a proof of purchase, contact your seller immediately, but I believe HTC will honour warranties based on production date of that unit.
Hey,
Just contact HTC and they will be able to fix it. If you tell them you bought it from ebay they will just look at the warranty left on the product, and if there is warranty left then they will repair for free, only have to pay for shipping charges to repair shop.
And like cliffordlee said they look at it based on production date so proof of purchase isn't necessary. My HD2 broke too, same thing, and i bought it from ebay as well.
Luckych
ok. I`m from Bulgaria, Europe.
3 weeks ago I sended my device for repair. Now it's ok, but they returnd the device with new mainboard, and now - the device is SIM LOCKED!
more than a week I'm waiting for the unlock code, and it's still not here
So, be carefull about this if your device is now unlock. Main was unlock too, befor sending.
Another thing. When I received the devise it went on customs. HTC service were writen 500$ on the package and I had to pay CUSTOM FEE 20%
Good luck

[Q] Repairing LCD for i9305 in the USA

All, I bought a Brown International Samsung Galaxy SIII i9305 that is registered Germany in December. Naturally with a little bad luck, after having it for 3 days I dropped it 1 ft (with a case) onto a wooden floor and cracked the screen. Samsung USA won't touch it as mentioned in other posts because of the model. After checking with Samsung service centers in multiple countries the Service center in Germany directed me to their repair service provider in Germany. They are able to repair it BUT will only ship back to a German address. I explained the situation to the repair center but they were unrelenting. I've checked back with Samsung and there is nothing they will do as it's their only service provider in Germany.
Btw...I did check the other threads before posting this and saw that the last person with this problem sent the phone back to the UK (where it was registered) from the USA. I would be willing to pay the price, but I can't get the phone back because of the shipping only to a German address. Also as an alternative I was looking for a new screen and replacing it in the USA, but finding a Brown Digitizer seems to really be a challenge anywhere as I've only found a couple brown ones online after days of searching, and they are all for the i9300.
I checked every forum about replacing screens on an international i9305 with an international i9300 LCD and haven't seen a solid answer yet. For the time being, the LCD on the phone still works, it's just the glass is shattered,..so worst case, at least I still have a working phone.
Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
Anyone have any ideas at all?

Not a common problem, but why didn't you just exchange it where you bought it from if it was brand new?
A more common problem is dust in the FFC and proximity sensor, though.

Because I bought if of someone they had it on contract and I think they bought it from someone prior to me so I am third owner it would be a nightwear trying to sort it out that way so this was the only way the phone is brand new.I hope I get it back soon it's a lovely phone in yellow.
Well I contacted them today via chat and the agent said my handset has been swapped for a new one and should be back this week it was unrepairable beyond economical repair. The phone itself was only 5days old what could of happened to it?I was going to claim the free wireless charger but if the details have changed can I still get it?
The free charger is only available or I should say was only available to AT&T customers only. That deal is now over. Also unless you bought it straight from AT&T then good luck on getting as it was not Nokia that was doing the special.
That's strange because I am in uk and on my box it clearly says offer is still valid for uk customers I have a unique code on my box.
