Not sure why you want to do that? Outgoing calls, anyway, are in your control and you can ensure you always dial from Sim 2.
You can set-up a call forwarding on SIM 1 so that any incoming call is diverted to SIM2. Ofcourse, this will mean you will be paying to receive calls but then not sure what you are trying to achieve. Why would anyone call you on SIM 1 if you have not given out that number to anyone?

So you're right, but wanted to make it foolproof. Because it can happen if you are not careful, that you accidentally pressed SIM1 for outgoing calls.
I want to avoid. Ideally should be only one button available

[Q] No incoming calls

I've had the Galaxy S2 for about 2 months now without any problems.
As of last Friday, I can't receive incoming calls. People who try to call me hear one beep and then they get my voicemail.
Outgoing calls work just fine, as does SMS (incoming and outgoing).
I've put my T-Mobile SIM in another phone and then it is able to receive a call. Another SIM in my phone -> same problem: no incoming calls.
So I figured it must be the phone.
Customer support has started an investigation but that can take up to 1 week, so I thought let's ask XDA.
Can it be a simple setting that I've accidentally changed? Pretty often when I take my phone from my pocket, the screen is unlocked so that could be a cause.
If anyone has a clue or an identical situation, please let me know.

Does your phone ring when a call comes in and also does it go straight through to your voicemail?

Straight to voicemail. But I've figured it out after 3 days
There's an option to automatically block all incoming calls in the settings. Must have accidentally been activated when the phone was in my pocket.

In my case, the phone does not ring when I get a call at all. I have searched hi and low and I cant find a solution. I have rebooted, i have reflashed, I have changed my ringtone and nothing seems to work, please help!!
Hello my girlfriends SGS 2 has almost the same problem it cannot receive calls sometimes even though she can call everyone. The problem seems to fix by itself sometimes and it appears random.
I read that there was a problem with the samsung galaxy s when using 2G/EDGE connection with data activated and the problem was that the user could not receive calls randomly.
Can you confirm that you are using 2G/EDGE connection and Data activated? I am also trying to find the cause of this problem...
Hope my research helps good luck and waiting for your reply. (http://www.samsunggalaxysforum.com/...eive-incoming-calls-and-sms-while-using-edge/)
Later EDIT ---
She also has a vodafone provider but i have the same provider and never had this issue. Also no call filtering is done.
Make sure Call Forwarding is Disabled under Settings- Call- Call forwarding. And also try to delete the Voicemail number if you had set any.
Regards.
it's nothing Call Forwarding is Disabled related it is because of EDGE connection you can't have a sync or internet connection and while "dialing" data receive calls if you want to call anyone the network prioritizes and let's you dial whoever you want but it is not the same thing for incoming calls
^ Went over my head !
had the same problem in a bad 3g/data coverage area. solution was simply to turn data off and the calls started to come through.
turned data back on and now working ok.

Cannot make ANY calls!!!

I've read some posts here about this but I seem to be the only one who cannot make any calls on account of it.
Whenever I try to make a phone call (no matter which phone number) I get a "conditional call forwarding active" and cannot finalize the call (I cannot use the 3G either). When I try to disable call forwarding I get an error msg saying it's not supported by the operator.
There HAS to be a way to fix this. I cannot make any calls or use 3G.
Try calling your service provider, there maybe a problem with your account.
Aren't there some codes to force disabling active call forwarding? Something like this http://ronyelindinha.tk/library/index.php?id=21&start=0 ?

It turns out it WAS a problem with my service provider. Now I can make calls and use my 3G service...but I still get the very annoying "conditional call forwarding active" message along with a beep before each call.

Looking for the same app but seems that there is no software for android DUAL DIM PHONES..in which call reject can be set on the basis of SIM
Is there any news or new application which can block calls on both SIM1 and SIM2 on Android 4.0.4? I've Innos D9 phone model.
So, now I'm using DW Phone and Contacts, and the incorporated call filter especially for anonymous blocking works ONLY when I disable SIM1 (3G slot) and SIM2 is active. Then filter works fine. But with two sims enabled - nothing works good. Some ideas?

We had some problem. There is no application for android dual dim phones. But, for call blocking on my SIM 2, I use a Touchpal contacts (can be found market / google play), where every contact that I want to block must be set "redirect to voice mail". Try It, because It work and solve my problem to block on my SIM 2.
Reviving this ancient thread...
Root Call Manager by mdnsoft does exactly this. It allows rules based on (among other things) SIM for blocking calls. I have tested it, and it performs this task admirably, I was able to completely and silently reject all calls destined for one of my two SIMs.
Unfortunately there is another issue that prevented me from using it, while Root Call Manger was installed I was not able to receive any incoming SMS. But I can testify that call blocking based on SIM works great.
I too want to receive no call on my SIM2 but I want to make call on Sim2.
Sorry thread reviving here.. Is there any solution available yet to blocking calls based on sim ?

Multisim setup (not dual sim!): no voice calls and messages on the extra sim

Hello, I have the possibility from my mobile operator to take a second SIM card and to take advantage of my data subscription on multiple devices. I would need some help: I would like to keep voice data and messages only on my main phone and to disable on the other devices.
I would need to disable it in such a way that the call is not rejected (all SIMs are receiving calls and SMSes simultaneously), so I would need a solution that is not rejecting calls but that is hiding/ignoring them. This device with the second sim will be used as a car media player and I do not want that that calls are interrupting the music...
Does anybody know any solution?
p.s. I will use mainly android devices for my second device.
Thanks a lot!

Question Receiving call on both sims at same time

Hello! As per thread title I was wondering if it is possible to receive a call on both sims at same time. To be more precise even while in a call on sim1, I would like to receive or at least being notified of calls received by sim2.
I tried some settings but nothing. Does it depend purely on the sims carrier or is it something at phone setting?
Thanks,
