I just thought that it would be cool to start a thread with different types of homescreen setups you are using on your jelly bean Hp Touchpad
You Might Want To Include:
- App Names
- Theme
- Rom
- Widgets

Its a cluttered mess but it makes sense to me. I'm rocking Paranoid 2.99. HD widgets, to many apps to say, and the news widgets on the right are taptu.

Loooool....Ok..in TouchPad Themes and Apps i think its the first or second post a WebOS like App Switcher. Can use the TP on android but like the way in the WebOs..I flash it today ... pretty cool

Oh that lol! Yeah I've used that and love it man. tbob18 does very nice work. I thought you were saying there is a webos theme that makes android look like webos lol.
OK here is my new screen. Very simple & a huge waste of great tablet space lol.

Hey guys-
I remember reading earlier in the week that another XDA member created a couple of very cool anime themes for Winmo 6.5 phones. As a huge anime fan and all around weaboo, I would love to see anime themes like this for the vibrant. I know that some stuff exists already in the form of themes for different home launchers and stuff, but what I'm talking about is a custom one for the vibrant. If anyone would be willing to design one or help me design one (I'm sort of a noob at anything dev related) let me know. Thanks in advance.

Hey Canti,try "shake them all" not a theme but a lwp. But if you like Go Nagai and Andies,lots of Andies you'll love it. I love this lwp so much. You might like "four seasons" too if you like Hokusai.

Really? Which variant?
I use the 5 screen one and it's flawless. Haven't found a better launcher. I just wish it had landscape mode. Sometimes if I use WidgetLocker and it's in landscape mode, the SE Launcher reloads itself but in landscape mode. Aside from the icons not being placed properly it otherwise looks great.
Wish someone with enough skills could make a variant with landscape mode!
Works great. I think I like it better than the touchwiz one on here

no, its actually more laggy than blur.. haha. if it wasnt laggy i would use it. there is a jerk when you move across homescreens, kind of like when you have a LWP on..
Not for me. It was fast as heck there was just missing apps in the drawers

TW laucher is faster than this, in fact i think its the fastest launcher for our atrix right now. Anyway if you want to make arc launcher faster try reducing the number of applications in each appdrawer page.

I have a Droid Charge I will give you a real good deal on then. Go find Neo's senseless Rom and it had Apex as the default and only launcher. Go to themes and download the Touchwiz theme for it. You will not know the difference. Wait, you will. It runs a hell of a lot faster, but looks like touchwiz.

Yup... it is, had a Samsung and absolutely hated it, it was the very reason I tried other launchers!

Put together by yours truly based off zone23's red build. Based off 3.14.605.10.
I've been running this mod on NeoMAX for several weeks, and I absolutely love it. It runs infinitely smoother than that Apex Launcher garbage. It's a helluva lot faster, too.
Also, I've tried the TouchWiz theme, for Apex, and it absolutely DOES NOT look, nor function the same as the actual TouchWiz launcher.
I suggest installing both and comparing and contrasting. It's the only way to make an educated decision on the matter.

Also, Snuzzo has a ROM that has Aroma, and it gives you the option install the ROM with TouchWiz.

Thank you. I suggest if you try it to download v8b(SlimRom 1.9 base) instead as v9 I was working on a rebase on 605.12 right before the OTA hit.

Apparently, you beat me to it. I must've been typing my responses into Tapatalk while you posted your link to your ROM.
The point is: Its like taking a Corvette engine and putting it into a Fiero. Sure, it's fast but it's still a Fiero and it is still ugly. You may substitute vehicle of your choice for Fiero if you like.

Precisely. It's all a matter of opinion. I happen to think TouchWiz is downright sexy. Coupled with it being the fastest launcher I've encountered, and I'm in love.
Use the touchwiz launcher on CM9 with the touchwiz 5 CM9 theme engine theme.

It actually isn't junk on the GS3. It looks pretty nice (not as good as stock jellybean) & it is fast and extremely useful.

I totally agree! i played with TouchWiz today and loved it! Apex is good dont get me wrong, but the GS3 with it, is just down right eye candy....

I have been looking though threads some people say they have had a hard time finding wallpaper in these resolutions. links below to my google drive for download. All comments are welcome but keep them clean.
Here is a very great rom that I use for daily diver http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265998 one of the best around so come check it out. From Developer evil1art, the rom is called WICKED™ v5.1 with some great mods.

Not sure I just checked, I can from pc. But when I opened from the note browser I had to hit the check on Request desktop site. Also I wasn't done uploading yet so give her a shot now. Hope this helps.

I just tried one of the scrollable wallpapers you posted and when I tried to use it as a wallpaper it only let me choose a small amount of the picture, the phone wont let me use the whole picture. Do I need to install an app to use the wallpaper?

out of the box, touchwiz does not allow scrollable wallpapers on the note 2. you need to swap launchers if you want a scrollable wallpaper.

This is normal, the selected part should have 2 smaller rectangles on either side of it, that is the part that scrolls. With the high res of the images, selecting one part shouldnt distort it but, If you need the whole image youll want to download an app from the market to do it.
