4300 mah finally came in - HTC EVO 3D

just got 4300 mah battery from over seas , it took over a month and a half to get , now i can see how long it lasts on max settings all the time

4300?
Link please.

i got it for 12 dallors =)
http://www.dinodirect.com/4300mah-extended-battery-w-cover-for-sprint-htc-evo-3d-phone.html
but it took over a month to get =/

Can you validate actual capacity for us? I already have a 4000. I wouldn't mind paying 12 for a 4300 if true.

I used battery Dr saver app , cause was one I found that showed the battery life also posted my benchmark if it will help

That doesn't show us anything. Get an app that shows actual data, like this:
That was from LBE Security Master. I know there's other apps out there, but that's the only one I know of that's always accurate since I use multiple batteries.

This is my seidio 4000 mAh battery.

I found the app in the play store but it's in Chinese, how did you get English?

Hi, I have a 3500 mAh battery from DX.com, 4000 mAh one from seidio ( the best one, but that ugly cover!) and finally this cheap 4300 mAh battery from Dino.
Size of Dino battery is the same as DX 3500 one, cover is very similar. But Dino battery is better, last longer. I "measured" capacity by battery monitor widget, so here is compare picture.

Is the Evo 3D Worth Getting?

Hey guys I've been shopping around for a new phone lately and I've been thinking about buying the Evo 3D. Now I'm aware that this phone is Fairly New, but I'm just wondering if Anyone is Disappointed with any part of it, or if its just Truly living up to what Sprint claims it is... (a Great phone).
With that said, can you guys maybe give me a brief listing of your Likes/Dislikes?
Also what's the deal with the Permanent Root/Recovery Situation?
Thanx in Advance!
I personally love the phone. No dislikes. It is my first android device though. Super quick, everything is so smooth. You can't really do anything to make it stutter. Battery life is pretty good. With moderate usage I was getting about 12+ hours.
Check the development forum section for info on s-off/root. There's plenty of instructions on getting s-off and root.
I'm still testing, but I just flashed some new roms that remove a lot of the bloat that comes stock on the phone and my battery life seems to have almost doubled. Wouldn't be surprised to get a full 24 hours out of it right now.

I'll do that... Thanx for your Reply!
I upgraded from the Evo 4G to the Evo 3D.
Likes:
Processor speed (very responsive)
Battery life (compared to stock Evo 4g battery)
Additional storage
Dislikes:
Skinnier screen (makes Swype keyboard keys too small)
5mb Camera (would rather have the 8mb cam from Evo 4g, than the 3D cam ability)
Side location of USB port
Screen lock (very annoying, can't turn off)

Coming from the Hero.....This is a HUGE upgrade buddy. No dissapointments here, and now that we have s-off and full root the developement on this phone is absolutely exploding. There's really no better options then this for sprint in the forseeable future. The Photon just came out, but that's likely to be lockdowned worse then this was, SG2 is still rumor only (never officially announced by Sprint) and the Hero2 will be a lower end phone (single core, less ram etc.)
I ditto what hockeyfam said
There are apps in the market that can disable the lockscreen.

Forgot one other like: Evo 3d is rootable
Still on the fence as to which one is my fav, though.
Photon looks promising by the way.
First off, Thanx All!!
Next I Definitely Agree with you, Almost Anything is a Considerable Upgrade from my Poor Old Hero!
I'd also like to know, is the Battery on the Evo 3D the same size as the Hero's? My girl has a Droid Inc. and its the Same... just wondering if I could Switch batteries from phone to phone?
Thanx Again guys!

No. The Hero's battery is much smaller (sorry the exact specs elude me at the moment). E3d battery life is far superior to that of the Hero in my experience with the 2 phones. Same usage nets me much better life with the 3D...light usage I can get almost 2 days of charge. VERY heavy usage, I'm still around 12 hours with 4 hours "screen on" time.

Plis, give your opinion.

battery on zte blade is the worst thing on this phone... about 1 day of autonomy
i bought a battery for htc dhd, but the autonomy was worst than the original one... so i won't change my original battery for a fake one...
Not sure
i am not sure
I bought one of these from DX and it's the worst battery I have had. Much worse than fake "OEM"s and Andidas.
I would rate it at about 900 mah.

I was thinking the same thing. The camera is the same too. Plus I was REALLY looking forward to it being quad-core like the GSM version. And the non-removable battery is a real downfall for me.

Yeah, but did you see the benchmarks from the Qualcomm S4 version. It is awesome!
Plus my undestanding is that performance of Krait (Qualcomm S4) over the Tegra 3 are close and Krait has better battery usage.

Wait....confused. The same as in the 3D? Is that what you are saying?
While this looks good, I really dont like the idea of not being able to upgrade the battery of have a spare handy.
Call me crazy but how necessary is it that these phones are hitting the highest benchmarks? I'm running MeanRom on my 3D and its fast and don't have problems running things. I don't really play many games, at least not the more intense ones, so I don't have a high demand for more power. Sure we want speed but my question here is what value are we putting on it? More power isn't bad but what I'm trying to say is there should be more improvements over the 3D than marginal at best. The 3D is better than the 4G but its not a whole new experience. The 3D feature I could do without, I just want a good camera that can be a competitor. Better battery life please? A case that doesn't feel so flimsy I'm afraid it'll break when removing the battery?
Just seems like people are primarily focused on cores and benchmarks with the idea that more = better. In all honesty if the next EVO had a camera with superb quality, impressive battery life, better screen, and ICS I wouldn't care if they kept the same CPU.

Don't know exactly if there is or there was. Maybe yes but not that active like the americans.. do you plan on buying the HOX+? I suggest that you may want to pass from buying the HOX+ because it is not that far from the HOX, except for the 64gb storage, 2100 mAH battery, and the 1.6 MP front facing camera of the HOX+. The HOX+ still suffer from overheating when playing games. And the battery life doesn't much improved. For me, I just wait for HTC to release a phone with Snapdragon S4 pro quad, with 2 gb of ram, 64gb storage, 2500 mAH battery, 4.5" super amoled screen and a 2 MP front facing camera. Then that would be my next phone..

thanks for your input..one thing i like with HOX+ is its storage. 64gb is enough for me and i'm not a heavy user also so 2100 mah battery is ok. i'm just waiting(patiently) for the JB update on HOX and from there i'll decide.
I bought my wife a HOX+ last Friday and, so far, its performing to expectations. The battery life seems to be running around 8 or so hours to 30% with a lot of usage, but most of it is from the (you guessed it) screen on use. It does get warm when playing games and I cant get Asphalt 7 to work, but everything else is butter.
anyone tried a custom rom yet?
i have had the bootloader unlocked, installed recovery and rooted. but i'm still seeing issues with the current batch of custom ROMS right now with the camcorder FC's. i'm waiting to get it fixed before i flashed any custom rom

While you can find ways to avoid paying for apps, as mentioned in another post, you can register your credit card on the Play store and it will automatically charge you once you decide to make a purchase. I recommend that you do it the legal way to support the community of developers. Why skimp on a dollar when you can spend so much for a phone?
Yeah! +100 to that
Its not really going to cost you that much, for most of the paid apps are like $2

If it requires more time to charge it's because has more battery. Anyway it depends mainly on use mA that the battery is capable of draining when charging.
