Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab SCH-i815 7.7 Screen Protector Wanted - Galaxy Tab 7.7 Accessories

Please help me find a glossy screen anti-scratch protector for the Verizon 7.7 Tab. This is not as popular as the international version therefore I feel there is not much selection out there. I'm not fond of the grippy vinyl type like skinomi and zagg but it seems this is the only type that is specifically made for this screen.

Maybe Spigen SGP Ultra Crystal? A bit pricey, but as far as glossy protectors go, people seem to like it.

I have the SGP Ultra Crystal and really like it. I prefer as clear a screen as possible and this one, as the name implies, is crystal clear and does not diminish the screen quality at all. The screen protector is normally $21 but you can pickup the full body protection kit right now on sale for $18. I believe the Ultra Crystal screen protector is what is included as default so it's a better deal.

Good find. Thank you.

Note that it does have a small speaker hole cut out for the wireless version, but I don't find it noticeable in a bad way.

I'm using the Verizon branded one sold in their stores...Been using it for over a year now and works perfectly for me.

Boxwave vs Brando screen protector

Can anyone who has bought or seen a Boxwave Crystal screen protector on the Touch HD comment on it. It seems like the Brando one is a little too short on the bottom, however, fits perfectly everywhere else. How is the fit of the Boxwave protector? Does it leaves any gaps? Any info would be much appreciated.
haven't bought one yet but from the looks of it, it does seems like it covers the whole screen unlike brando's.
well, the website shows that is covers it perfectly but the orange outline is just computer generated so it's not for sure the actual protector will be perfect...if anyone's actually used one on their Touch HD, please let us know...
i just ordered mine i've been waiting for them to get one. so i'll post back when i receive it.
brando's doesn't have a cut out for the front camera.
boxwave's fits almost perfectly, with a little space around the edges.
i preferred boxwave's.
I bought my screen protector from www.screenguardz.com for my HD. It has the hole for the cameraand fits great. I screwed up the first one I installed, but they I have been using them for sometime now. I've installed their product on all my phones. Just my 2 cents

Well, here's an update. I decided to buy the boxwave CRYSTAL cleartouch screen protector and I think it's perfect. The custom cut is as good as it can get. It has appropriately sized cutouts for both the speaker and camera, and leaves a very slight gap around all of the edges, which is just enough to be able to pull it off if you wanted too. I haven't bought the brando one, but based on pictures, it seems to have a much larger gap on the bottom but is good everywhere else.
As far as quality of the boxwave one, you can't even tell it's on (still looks like glass), is extremely smooth, and has been scratch resistant so far. As others have said, fingerprints are more noticeable on the screen protector vs the actual screen (in general, this is true for the CRYSTAL version of any company's screen protector...the ANTI-GLARE versions are less prone to fingerprints however aren't as smooth and have a hazy look...so it just depends on what you prefer).
Anyway, I know it's only a screen protector, but hopefully this helps any other OCD people out there.
I have the Brando one, and yes it's about 1mm too short at the bottom.
Personally, I don't have a problem with that, as the protection is fine, and the finish (invisible, like glass) and durability (bomb-proof) are frankly perfect.
Haven't seen a Boxwave one, have only seen their anti-glare one, but my guess would be they're on a par. Prolly comes down to what you can get hold of...

T-Mobile TP2 Screen Protector

The TP2 relies on much more touch-screen action than previous T-Mobile HTC devices, e.g. Wing. I am trying to find the pros/cons of using a screen protector for the TP2, but so far, not finding much. Is a screen protector really that important for a TP2? I am ok with not using one, but if one is necessary, can anyone tell me why? I wonder if a screen protector is more of a personal choice than a technical necessity...
I find a screen protector is more of personal preference, i use it for peice of mind so i dont have to be extra careful when using my screen and also when i play music on my tp2 i put it facedown as the speakers are on the back and i have done that before on a previous phone and scratched the screen as there was dirt on the table. also if you put it in your pocket without its cover and you forget about coins or keys in there, you can say goodbye to your nice shiny screen. So i know if the screen ever gets scratched i just peel off the protector ansd put a new one on.

I've had my TP2 for about three months now and i've not used a screen protector. I'm quite carefull with the device and i use the pouch every time i put it in a pocket.
I'd like a matte screen protector because fingerprints annoy me to no end, waiting on boxwave to make one because when I had the mogul I used those and they were awesome... but uhm yeah I don't think it's necessary if you're careful with it. Most people I know with the iphone don't use one, and the screen seems similar. There's always that chance you leave you phone in your lap and get up and then BANG (yeah that definitely just happened to my Mogul last week) so I keep a screen protector on just in case. Performance wise, I don't notice it being less responsive when I use the protector, but then again I haven't used it without one much... Isn't there a CAB somewhere to boost touch sensitivity? Wonder if it will work on this...
You want to try the full body shield by zagg they are based in utah where i am from and their crap is the best quality and lifetime warranty
The Zagg one is still being developed, I wonder if the bodyguardz one is just as good...
Brando Screen Protector
I ordered the Brando Screen Protector however i noticed TMO TP2 is different from the other ones being sold. I wonder if anyone has been able to make it the Brando Screen protector work with the TMO TP2.
Product Code: MUCSP041200 for the Touch Pro 2
mobile.brando.com
I'm using the stock screen protector that comes with the tmo version. It was kind of hard to fit on the screen because it is so perfectly cut to the size of the screen and plastic all the way around the buttons and earpiece. It's been fine so far, I ordered a couple off ebay when I got the phone but I think I'm gonna just keep the stock one on there.
Clearprotector uses the same "stuff" as Zagg and they have a T-Mobile TP2 version.

I ordered one and I didn't like the fit. It didn't go all the way to the edges. The top and bottom were too short.
I stuck the bundled one back one since it has a perfect fit. Only problem I have is I somehow made to tiny creases/bumps which is causing to small air bubbles on the edge.
I would not use a device like this without a good screen protector. I used to not care until I got a scratch on the screen protector of my last phone from an unexpected drop and scrape. It would have ruined my screen.
The stock screen protector is very good, it just takes a surgon to put it on because it is laser precise and perfectly cut to the screen. I had to use a razor blade to trim about 1 to 2mm off the left edge to get rid of an air pocket that was resting on about a 1mm lip. (I don't suggest trying it if you don't have a steady hand)
But I'm looking at a full body screen protector to put on next. I ordered a rubber snap on cover, but I don't want to ruin the look and feel of the device. And the phone is big enough already - don't want to make it more bulky. I've been seeing one on ebay saying that it's used to coat helicoptor blades and has a lifetime warranty and all that. Just waiting for someone to order one and review it.

I also got this screen protector from Brando (same model as yours, as far as I can tell) for my T-Mo TP2...and it doesn't quite fit properly -- it's obviously made for the international/original version with the curved chrome trim on the front. That is, it fits on the phone, but the top and bottom of the front outside the screen aren't covered. And I had to trim out the ear-speaker hole on the protector a little because apparently the distance between the bottom-buttons and the ear-speaker are different between the intrntnl and the TMo versions.
Still, I'm using it anyway (even though it looks funky) just so I can protect that beautiful screen...but when/if one is specifically made for the TMo TP2 I'll get that one.
Other than not fitting exactly right, I do like the protector clarity and sensitivity, and I was able to apply it without bubbles.
UPDATE:
OK, I see now that I ordered what I thought was the same protector, but I ordered mine from "shop.brando.com", rather than "mobile.brando.com" -- What's the difference -- more than one brando.com site?? And my product code is different. (SUCSP083500 vs MUCSP041200)
Looking again at the shop.brando.com page for the product I ordered -- 10 days after I ordered it and 3 days after I received it -- that while the T-Mobile version is listed under intended "Models" there's also a footnote saying it's not compatible with the T-Mobile version. I don't think that footnote was there when I ordered it.
I wonder if the version sold at the mobile.brando.com site, Product Code MUCSP041200 really fits the T-Mo TP2? If so, I'll go ahead and order one...or 2.

Galaxy Player Accessories

This is just a placeholder!
Car Charger
Anyone bought a car charger for the SGP5 that charges? I discovered not all micro USB chargers are created equal. I have a .7A wall charger that came with my Galaxy Player, and a .7A wall charger than came with my Optimus-V. Both say 5V with micro USB. The Optimus charger won't switch the Galaxy Player to charging (just keeps discharging). The car charger I have for my Optimus works fine on the phone, but also does not charge the Player.
Does Samsung have an extra wire or two in their chargers? Just want to buy a good car charger for the Samsung (and don't want to have to return it). This is my Optimus charger: http://www.amazon.com/Retractable-C...2C0W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1324098638&sr=8-1
I think I might order this for my Player: http://www.amazon.com/Professional-...7?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1324098713&sr=1-7
Anyone have one they know works in a car?

Coincidentally I just received the Riot Outfitters case today. It is a MINIMAL case. No protection for the top and bottom corners. About all it does for me is make it a bit easier to hold the device. With your thumbs up of that Rearth case, I'm going to order one of them.

Can you elaborate on "So except the hole in the top"?
What hole does it have or not have?
(thinking about it for my galaxy player 4.0)
Also..
Re: car chargers..
I recently bought a car charger for my original nook,
that plugs into the lighter, and the USB plugs into that.
I tried it on my Galaxy Player, and it works great!
Got it from Barnes n Noble for like $20+ish.
Really want to get a case for this though. lol
I just got the Zagg InvisiShield for the screen, and its awesome stuff.
Perfect fit to.
Now to protect the rest...

Well the korean version of the galaxy players have a DMB antenna (for the TV) so the case needs an hole for the antenna. (you'll dont notice it at all after a few use with it.)

Ahh, Ok, Cool!
Sounds good. Thank you.
Hi,
I originally got the gel case I mentioned here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1389081
I got one of Riot cases for Christmas, from my family (a little early ), and although I didn't really like it, because of the lack of protection mentioned above, I was obliged to try it.
That lasted for about a day, then I went back to the gel case.
The main reason was that I noticied that when I played some games in landscape, the games were constantly going to "resume". I'm guessing that it was because the Riot case doesn't provide much isolation at the bottom edge when in landscape, and between the metal band around the SGP5, and the narrow bezel area between the edge and the capacitative screen, it was causing this.
So, I switched back to the gel case, and the problem's gone.
I also got a cheap protector when I bough the gel case off of Ebay, and I was obliged to try a Zagg protector (again, for Christmas). That lasted even less time than the Riot case.
I really hated the tackiness of the Zagg protector, especially when doing things on the screen that required smoother movement. With the Zagg protector, my finger kept jumping/skipping, esp. when I played games. I did some googling, and this seems to be a common complaint with the Zagg protectors.
So, I'm back to the cheap Ebay protector also.
Just my observations...
Jim
When I first installed the zagg shield,
I also thought it was more "tacky" than it should be.
Wasn't sure about it for the first couple days.
But now it's been on there for a week or so,
and it's really no different now than when the shield was off.
Not tacky anymore, fingers not jumping or skipping,
and i just glide across it nicely, just as i did the original screen.
So, while the zagg shield was questionable to me for a few days after installing it..
It really does work quite nicely now!
Nice and smooth/slick just like the actual screen.
I bought this car charger, just go it, works well: http://www.amazon.com/Professional-...7?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1324098713&sr=1-7
Bought this "case" that fits great and feels good: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180741214943&ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:US:1123 I bought it in black and you barely see the white around openings (none on front), I also sand-blasted it to remove the glossy it has on one side, still has the nice 2 tone effect but now matte and super-matte.
Bought this "Sleeve" that is very functional (and protective): http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-...GEOQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1325036022&sr=8-1
Bought this screen protector that goes on easily and looks good, but scratches easily: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270845080394&ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:US:1123
(would not buy this again)
woohoo
Yes! Got my case today!
Ordered it 3 days ago, and just got it, and it fits perfectly!
Very happy/impressed with it!
Now Im "fully" protected.
Zagg shield on the screen and Ringke/Rearth case over the rest.
Niice!

How does that fit?
there's no holes/ports for the speakers?
or does the 5.0 have only one speaker in the front, on the opposite side?
Looks cool, but doesnt have the proper holes, at least not for my 4.0
edit: nevermind..
I see that the 5.0 does indeed have different placements. mybad
@rasall, how much thicker does it make it? Is it really worth $20 for a silicone case? It does look nice, but my device seams thick enough already without a case. Also ghost armor now has screen protectors for the galaxy players, fyi.

Not much thicker at all.
I just measured it with the case on and it's still only 2.5 inches across from side to side.
It really was worth the $20, for me anyway.
$20 to add some decent protection to a $240 device , I find worth it.
As Im sure you know..
there are not really a whole lot of cases out there yet for these players..
So one that fits perfectly, adds protection, and gives it some extra grip, is worth it to me.
It also makes it feel super nice!
Like it gives it some more 'stability''.... er something. lol
I'm not aware of "ghost armor" ,
But I have a Zagg invisishield on and I love it. Perfect fit, and one of the best quality materials Ive seen.
Plus, it has a lifetime guarentee.
If it gets damaged, they replace it for free.
Ghost-armor is a screen protector similar to zagg but uses static cling rather than adhesive and is therefore reusable if you have to take it off. From what I have seen they are pretty much indestructable (I saw someone demonstrate by grinding his iphone 4s across diamond plated steel - not so much as a hairline scrach!). You can also get nice looking carbon fiber skins. They also have lifetime warranty. They are pretty expensive, though ($25-30), and my $2 xtreme guard from ebay is working great, so I guess I'll wait.

How is the xtreme guard? I have the cheap clear guard LCD screen protectors from eBay, and they scratch and attract fingerprints too easily. I wanted to get the xtreme guard, but I was afraid they would be tacky and sticky to touch because they are the kind that need water to install. So are they tacky like zaggs?

It was a bit of a pain to install correctly, but not to bad if you use soapy water. It was really hard to use the first couple days, but after a while it broke in and is smooth as can be. It is exactly like zagg, so if you don't like zagg it might not be for you, but it isn't sticky at all to me. If you scratch it, it just goes away after some use, pretty nice for how cheap it is. One more thing - the rear protector is absolute junk, if you can get just the front protector without the back, do so.

Galaxy S7 Full Screen Tempered Glass **RESOLVED**

So like me i am sure you all went thru a lot of glass and plastic screen protectors for your galaxy S7 and nothing fits right or feels same.
Here is a new one by CORAL
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qL-9u0dnzuk
Here is a video review by our own ebpman
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6Fzelt0l9s.
Mod edit: Commercial links removed.
Hopefully i was able to help you all out!
EDIT UPDATE:
Review for the Coral Tempered Glass
#1 Looks 8/10- It dosent look exactly like the phone, so its like putting a case for the front as well. However dont get me wrong it does look very good so i will give it an 8 since it does not preserve the samsung color all the way but it comes very close.
#2 Design: Idk how i can rate this one. It is shaped just like the phone screen so thumbs up i guess.
#3 Functionality: Flawless touch screen experience. This field will get 10/10
#4 Compatibility: Already tried it with other cases, about 5 of them (i work at Verizon) and it works well with all of them. I can see it being a problem with some off brand super tight cases though. I tested it with UAG, Incipio, Speck, Spigen, Case Mate.
#5 Protection: It makes my phone feel very secure and is a solid over all product. so this is one place it gets 10/10 for sure. It is 0.26 MM which is thinner than 0.33 MM regular glass we are used to but if the glass was any thicker i dont think the cases would fit it, so i do believe its the perfect thickness.
Overall its a 9 depending on how it does with my cases but i am sure it ill pass with flying colors.
Will do a more in depth review once i get back home from work tonight or tomm. Will post pictures
I am using it with an otter-box commuter right now and its working great. Also idk how many of you saw this but here is the video of our very own ebpman who did a review on one as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6Fzelt0l9s
Another review by @seoulbrova https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70dP...ature=youtu.be
P.S: I have more cases coming in oblique and caseology and all so ill post how those work with this here.

Are there any distributors of Coral products in Canada? The shipping costs bring this to about $60 CDN, which seems a bit high for me. Also, is Coral associated with Leaf (perhaps owned by them)?
I wanted to order this, but even with the $5 off coupon, it adds up to $30+. They charge $4.50 for first class mail shipping, which is ridiculous. $32 for a screen protector is a bit rich.

Please let us know how it fits! It seems like all the manufacturers are having problems with those curved edges with not only tempered glass, but also PET. Those slightly curved edges are making it difficult to find any screen protector that is full screen and doesn't have edge lifting or issues with cases. This is the first company with a full screen tempered glass protector that actually has a video of it on the s7 and addresses those issues. Still, it will be good to hear from someone that has tested it first hand that isn't paid by the company.

Is it ? everytime i ship something using first class mail it always ends up being over $5 honestly i cant comment on the weight as idk if i have ever shipped anything which weighs like a tempered glass but oh well i wont complain if it works properly, otherwise back it goes lol.
Whats with colored screen protectors this time around?
Are they trying to hide the rainbow effect?

Interesting, is that a knockoff Zagg? Not that the brand matters. As long as it fits, protects the screen and doesn't interfere with the touch sensititivy, I don't care about the brand. Maybe mfg finally figured out how to make these for the curved glass. However, the title states for Samsung Galaxy S6 S7 and I've seen plenty on Amazon that state full coverage for Galaxy S7. Then based on reviews, it seems they just rebranded an S6 protector. It does state beneath the title, [tested on Galaxy S7], and also gives the option to select S6 or S7. I hope it fits! If so, it means that there will be a lot more of these available and prices will come down. If you bought the PET one, did you notice any edge lifting?
@ -Gir-, in the video it actually shows the rainbow effect, so no, I don't think that's it. Maybe it helps with aligning it? I don't know, and it does seem sort of unnecessary. The one in the ebay link also has colored borders.
Dam, no getting these in the UK? I checked the site and they only ship to the states.

I got my onyx s7 yesterday, 1st day out of the house. Rocking a spigen case (need to change the case, rear is clear plastic and very slippy) add to that the screen is naked, im scare of breaking it.
Ive akways had tempered glass on my s5 and had no issues. ordered the crystal spigen but desperate for a tempered glass one in the uk
will wait for a price drop, they sell other items on amazon for much less. obviously this will be higher than most but hoping a small drop will happen soon
keep us posted on field tests

I can confirm that this tempered glass protector would fit as advertised because i bought the plastic ones and they fit perfectly. Heres the link. I purchased one and should arrive in a week. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/17175543...49&var=470968620531&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Looks like that one only ships in Australia, which is shame for me here in Canada. The price seems much better than the one from Coral, but maybe there is a quality difference. If I was in Oz I would likely order this one and try it out. The price of the Coral one is too high for me to order it right now.

Thanks, but looks like that one also only ships within Oz. I decided to order this one: https://www.amazon.ca/Galaxy-Protec...458707412&sr=8-8&keywords=screen+protector+s7
I'll report back once I get it and (try to) install it.

Hope that Jetech works for you! Just checked again on Amazon and it looks like there are quite a few options now with the same description as the Coral one; namely 9H hardness, oleophobic coated and full coverage (Sorry, can't add urls, newbie poster, long time browser). Also, all seem to have the colored borders. Prices seem to range from about $8.99-$29.99 (Checked Amazon UK and there seems to be a few on there too!). I have noticed that like the Jetech, most of these state the thickness is 0.3 mm, which one reviewer stated made pressing the home button difficult for his fat fingers. Curious to know if anybody else has had that issue before. It seems this is a common thickness for the tempered glass. My last one had a gap under the home button so it wasn't an issue.
@ Leeum, thanks for the update on the fit of the plastic ones. Good to know you didn't have issues with edge lift with the Spigen case.
@ StickyGeko, I had the same case and almost dropped it first day! Immediately ordered another case and only kept that one on there long enough for the new one to arrive. Ended up going with the Spigen Slim Armor. Still a bit smooth for my liking, but it seems to have just a bit more padding.

Best Clear Case and Screen Protector for the S8

So I'm getting my S8 today but I still don't have anythong for its protection.
1.) What is the best CLEAR case for this device that gives it basic (slim but not too slim)? I also want to have that raised lip for the fingerprint sensor in the back.
2.) For screen protectors, is Temperd Glass recommended for curved devices? If so, which one is best?
I want to have the total cost for these at a minimal as I don't feel like spnding a lot just for the these basic accessories.
Thanks for the help!
Well I wasted almost 30 bucks on screen protectors and the only thing I can say is DO NOT buy any 3D tempered glass that is supposed to cover whole front. The main problem here is the adhesive which is located only on edges of the protector. There is air between screen and protector, which sometimes decreases touch responsivity, forcing you to apply some pressure in certain areas so that the input is registered. Also, most of these 3D glass protectors collide with many cases, so they simply don't work. Personally, just go for some decent case that will secure your device from drop, like RhinoShield or Spigen Neo Hybrid. If you care about design and don't want to lose it, go for something clear and thin/ultra thin
I bought a Baseus case from eBay and lobe it so much. So thin and light and matches perfectly. They are in Amazon too.
Also works with my Darth Vader skin that I have on the back so it still shows that off.

So are you saying not to go with any screen protector at all? Does this apply to the usual "flimsy" screen protectors as well?
Definitely do not buy any harted glass. I have ordered 3D TPU film that has adhesive on whole surface it will ship on thursday so I will tell ya if it works or not

I strongly thinking of going back to no protector. I tried glass and the White Stone dome one was great except the glue on the side kept chipping out and looked terrible. I've got a film protector on now from Best Buy Canada and again it feels so crappy compared to the naked screen. If I remove it I'll still be careful but I do have insurance just in case. I already don't use a case (only a skin) for the very same reason...that I want to enjoy the feel and look of this beauty, not cover to up to protect it for someone else in the future.

I did that with my HTC 10 for a year for the same reason and it has no scratches or micro-abrasions at all. I think it's pretty safe to assume the S8 will be no different. As for going caseless... I wouldn't recommend that for a device mainly made of glass lol. Check out the Supcase review I just posted and try it out if you like. If not, return it or at least you'd have something to put on your phone when you're going somewhere or doing something that may cause you to drop it.
Buy yourself genuine samsung screen protector tpu version and genuine samsung light case.....or silicon case genuine.... all goes 100% together.
@Hunteres
But then you oay more than what you should be paying? And that there are others that are even of higher quality than Samsung? Pass.

Is this the first time that Samsung hit it correctly? Are these generally cheaper in eBay than when bought from Samsung stores?

They are genuine samsung from reputable sellers.... they are high quality and cheap. Honestly best combo... check reviews on YouTube before hand..... the screen protector comes in pack of 2....and its a no brainer....curved and case friendly...

Right, I don't have a doubt regarding their genuineness. It's just that there are other screen protectors like the Spigen Neo Flex that costs $8.99 for a 2-pack as well. Same goes for the clear cases, there are others that are significantly cheaper than the Samsung. So I'm just wondering how do these fare with the official Samsung ones. Any thoughts?

I agree. My only concern though is that I kinda want the "raised lip for the fingerprint sensor" feature that the Ringke cases offer and I don't think the Spigen cases have that.

ok.. if ringke offers the feature you need than its good.

Well, yeah, but I want to know how the Spigen compares to the Ringke. Maybe it is better in terms of other departments and the like.
im using the Ringke fusin clear case.
i absoultly love it, its offer all the feature's im looking at case (thin, clear and lift on top and bottom of the screen)
im gonna order the Spigen liquid Crystal as well. as the reviews says its very good case. (remindes the Ringke features)
I'm using the Spigen Ultra Hybrid. I think it a great case. I had the same one on my S7 Edge for a year.

I just finished installing the Whitestone Dome tempered glass screen protector. Initial thoughts so far is it's the best on the market hands down. Make sure you check for case compatibility before you purchase it though. The price is a little steep at $45 but well worth it IMO. The adhesive is under the entire glass and uses a UV to cure. Clarity and touch performance seem to be spot on. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06Z...+galaxy+s8&dpPl=1&dpID=51W7ozwV4HL&ref=plSrch

Me too, in Midnight Black color! Very elegant and nice.
Haven't understand yet if the clear back will become yellow or not in time...
About the screen protection, I'm a tempered glass lover. Since I've been using them I've saved all my old phones.
I've tried some curved glasses on my S8, but finally the Zagg Sapphire Curve is available in Europe and I've ordered one!
I know, it's not glass, but it's supposed to be harder then glass, and got now it's the cheapest solution for having a protection this good that adheres to all the device's screen.
And I've seen that it's case friendly and that not that bad in touchscreen sensitivity!
Will let you know

The Spigen ultra hybrid on my S7 Edge stayed pretty much clear the year I had it. I'm using a Armorsuit Military screen protector. It's not glass but it will do for now. It's really difficult to find a tempered glass protector for a curved screen. It seems like all if them are junk. I wait and let others experiment until there is one that really works without issues.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XXTRWBL/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
For clear case, my recommendation would be the Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear or the Otterbox Symmetry Clear. The otterbox is slightly chunkier but not much.
As for a screen protector I've tried the Samsung official one and the Spigen Neo Flex.
The Samsung one is a dry application and therefore is extremely difficult to get on right without dust spots. I tried it on 3 different phones and didn't get either of them right, even with the dust removal sticker.
The Spigen Neo Flex is a wet application which is far better cause when it dries out it leaves no dust spots or air bubbles. But imo the corners aren't a perfect fit for most cases. Again I tried a few and even with Spigen cases the corners lifted on all of them. A little trimming of the corners with a scalpel solved this. This protector isn't as clear looking as the Samsung dry film but is of the "military material type" and so self heals with any minor dings and scratches. I'd trim the corners a little (follow the contour of the corner and trim off a mm or two) before applying this for best adhesion on all corners for a case. It def has a slightly different feel to screen but at rhe moment I think this is the best solution of at the moment to protect out precious S8 screens.
Hope this helps.
