You sure you tried all combination..!.?..
Combination for download mode is power+vol up+vol down
If your phone gets in recovery mode it should boot in download mode

Take off your phone's battery. Wait around 2-5 minute. Insert battery. Press vol up + vol down + power button.

Have you even tried a wipe data? Do it at first.

If nothing works...than remove battery and hold the buttons for download mode(volume up+down+power) and than reinsert the battery....u may require a pair of hands more to do that so take anybody's help.....

Thank you guys, at the end I changed the kernel from the clockwork mode, that gave me the normal e3 boot. From there I made a data wipe and then I entered clockwork mode and restored a nandroid backup.
Still I wish I could enter the download mode, but the screen just flashes so... I'll try later this week, right now my friend has it (it's hers) so maybe when she gives it to me again. Right now I left her with stock OS xD

Don't flash Rafael.Baugis CWM kernel without formatting your partitions as ext4
I repeat
DON'T DO IT
It will soft brick your phone
And if you try again and again, it will hard brick your phone
I had to send my phone to Samsung Service centre to restore it!!!

ok it would have been nice to know that -.-'''' why don't they post this info anywhere else? seriously it was a pain to do anything on that phone. I'm still trying to figure out a way to put it into download mode. Right now it works but my friend is asking for the thing that makes the phone install stuff on the sd card so IDK what to do.

[Q] Please help. PHONE BRICKED!!

Hi guys, hoping someone can shed a little bit of light on my issue.
Rooted my phone- all went fine!.
Went to install CWM and all i got was the e3 recover telling me:
Failed to verify signature.
Instillation failed.
So after a little bit of messing about i decided to just leave it and continue on with my day. My phone then ran out of battery. I put it on charge without turning it on and came to find the phone in recovery mode with a fully working version of Clockwork MOD, suprising to say the least. I rebooted the phone and then tried to reboot back into recovery mode, and since then my phone wont load normally or into recovery past the samsung logo.
I dont know what to do because although my phone will go into download mode, it will not work with ODIN, i simply get the message "failed to open serial port."
So i have a phone that wont load recovery, wont load normally, and wont let me install kernals etc through ODIN, please someone help me!
Any help would be great, thanks people.
Hi
I'm new here & have been reading many threads in preparation before rooting my phone.
Its sounds like your phone is stuck in a boot loop, if so read this tread & it should help you out. (sorry if i got it wrong)

The above solution will not work for you, because your have no recovery.
How did you root your phone? To summarize:
1. You rooted your phone.
2. You tried flashing CWM (why?)
3. Flashing failed and you have no recovery anymore?
4. Odin does not recognize your phone anymore.
Correct?
Try a different USB cable to make sure it isn't the cable.
Have you stopped kies on your computer before running odin?

I had the same problem get into Cwm the way you'd get into normal Android recovery so hold vol up + home + power then when the boot screen pops up let go for a millisecond then repush vol up + home + power

Your phones only bricked if it wont turn on mate. Relax as its most likely fixable. Do as others have suggested and disable kies as its a pain in the backside. Kies doesnt like odin and will crap it up. Install a kernel like chainfires; get into cwm and wipe everything. Dalvik, cache, system. Get a usb jig off ebay for gs2 if you can as thats helped me out. I only use Siyahs kernel or Chainfires as they are the most stable. Good luck.

yes i have done factory reset and nothing , i already flash with CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4.tar too.
AFTER FLASH OVER AND OVER AGAIN , MY PHONE LIVES
I dont understand what i have done , but my last steps was:
Flash the phone with ODIN 3.07, after flash i enter in RESET MODE ( VOL.UP+HOME+PWR) and select wipe data/factory reset ( use the volume button to toggle, and pwr button to confim) .
Some notes:
I have try few times that steps above , but phone stucks always on samsung logo. IN this last try i have done factory reset and i connect phone to pc with KIES open, trying connect device, and phone just past samsung logo and start install aplications . I dont know if was kies revive my phone or not.
ONE ADVICE , CAUTION WITH NAND ERASE ALL OPTION.
I think i have lucky this time

Lesson learnt, less haste, check and double check, and don't mess with stuff you don't understand.....and never be afraid to ask for help of you are not sure what you are doing
Glad you got it sorted

Since you can see the opening screen,I am sure it would go into download mode.
Press Volume up+Volume Down+Power to boot up the phone into Download mode.Connect the phone to your PC and see whether Odin recognizes it.Then, flash the stock Rom.

Did you flash a stock rom with odin v3.07?Your recovery might be damaged. First, install the stock rom with odin.Make sure it boots. Then go into recovery by pressing volume up+power+home and flash your desired rom.

No need for service center, just follow the steps for flashing a rom through Odin and you can recover your phone to a working state, but grab all the patience you can and follow the steps CAREFULLY, or you'll have a really hard time recovering your Ace-i
Hi guys "I DID IT" many thanks for your time and replies!!! what i did was i watched several videos on how to use Odin which i wasnt sure of then i put the phone in download mode & it worked THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! My S2 doesn't go to download or recovery mode

Dear all,
I had Jelly bean 4.1.2 flashed on my S2 with Philz kernel. Its camera stopped working so i thought to go back to stock ROM from orange ORA, i flashed the rom(GB) and after the flash, my phone is stuck on the samsung logo and doesn't move further, It is not going into download and recovery mode, if i try it restarts and again gets struck on S logo. Help needed from experts please.
Try a jig, then service centre. If you can't get into recovery or download mode, you won't be fixing it.
Have you tried pulling battery& try recovery buttons combination yet?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
That happened to me before, I had to go into recovery and wipe /data and factory reset.

Unfortunately couldn't find a Jig . Have tried all the combos of recovery and download but it restarts. Another weird thing is that when i put in the battery after pulling off it restarts by itself without pushing the power button
Now i think only a jtag device can help you or service center.
And its i9100 or i9100G ,i ask this because i9100g boot repairing possible without jtag.
