[Q] Trio Stealth pro 9.7c freezes after android logo - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone, I have a two month old trio stealth pro tablet, and I have been having issues with it. For some reason it freezes on startup after the android logo. I have tried combinations of keys to try to get into a recovery mode, but have been unable to do so. I am not sure what other things
I could try to get this tablet back on its feet. I have looked at getting a different rom, however I do not know enough to feel comfortable taking the risk and possibly bricking my tablet. I wonder if I can use livesuite if the android system itself is not fully loading. Every once in a while ( once every few days) I am able to get past the screen and am able to do stuff on the tablet, but then I get constant errors, for example google maps has stopped responding, contacts has stopped responding, and other random programs. For now my goal is to at least get it to load, if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same problem. Luckily I took a dump of all of the partitions and have a lot of the info about it saved (partition info, boot layout, etc) while I was working on getting a working recovery for it, so maybe I'll be able to figure something out to bring it back to life.
FYI, it didn't break it doing the recovery mods... I was actually well on my way with that one. it happened after letting it sit for couple weeks. I'm hoping it's not a bad flash chip.

You can check out my Guide found on this Thread: Help for the TRIO STEALTH PRO 7C
This might be able to help you flash a fresh ROM and hopefully fix your device.

[Q] Stuck at boot "Password Failure"? Please advices

Hi everyone, I've been lurking around here unregistered since I got my first Android device last year, namely the ZTE Blade.
Now however, I'd love to get help because somehow I've managed to make my brand-new tablet not to boot, and I seek expertise from the experts.
I've searched around both Google and here on XDA, but haven't found anything because I don't know how to search for it, due to the fact that the error is in Chinese.
So to make a story short I just arrived today from a trip in HongKong.
I was very pleased with my ZTE Blade so I decided I'd buy a cheap Android-running tablet during my stay, and so I did.
I got myself an "Acho C908", which I tested in the store first. May be an unknown brand, but it's a really nice tablet.
It sure has nice specifications and I was pleased with the performance for the price I payed, however I managed to make things worse.
Everything was going good except I couldn't install any apps in Playstore, I always got the “Error Processing Purchase DF-BPA-09″. So I searched this error up and found the guide: ...technipages.com/google-play-error-processing-purchase.html
I followed the guide and cleared the data from Google Services Framework. However, after doing so things got bad. My tablet began to freeze so I restarted it. After it booted the "explorer" (forgot the name in Android, refering to Windows-term) didn't answer and crashed and the tablet froze again.
So I rebooted it again and here's where I got stuck.
The thing is that I don't seem to have bricked my tablet, because I'm able to pass the boot logo, however I'm getting stuck at something else. The worse thing is that because of the tablet being a Chinese one, the text is in Chinese! However, this happened to me at the airport when I was heading back from HongKong so I managed to ask some Chinese people.
Here's the "error".
XXX.img692.imageshack.us/img692/4594/tableth.jpg
(please replace the XXX with WWW)
From what the Chinese people I asked told me, it says something about "Password Failure" and that I would need to "Reset to Default Settings"?
I have tried to enter some sort of Factory Settings/Hard Reset mode, but holding Volume+ or Volume- or both together during turn on of the device yielded nothing but getting stuck at the first logo during start-up, namely "ACHO".
So do you have any guesses on what to do?
I actually bought two of these tablets, one for me and one for my father. So if there's any information on the working tablet you would need to help me, I would be able to provide you with that.
I'd love to get my new tablet working.
Thank you very much in advance.
Best Regards

[Q] Tokio Tablet

Hi guys,
Last night while i was out at the pub i managed to win a Tokio Tablet from one of those games machines.
I booted it up this morning and found it was running android 2.3.3.
I managed to root it with gingerbreak, superuser works etc...
I was wondering if anyone has every used on of these and if it's possible to flash a different rom to it?
The default rom is so clunky and slow, kinda makes the tablet useless.
Any info would be much appreciated
I think i have managed to find a recovery menu or something similar but when you boot it up while holding the home button it boots onto a screen saying "unexpected updater mode"
also, bump
Try my guide to make a proper recovery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1935162
Tokio freezed on start up please help!
My 10 year old lad won one of these tabs and used it for a few hours. His cousin downloaded a starwars screensaver and all seemed ok. However, we put it on this morning and it gets to the "android" screen at start up and freezes. We cannot get any further. I have tried resetting it through the little hole, I have tried attaching to my pc to see if i can get into it, nothing.
My lad is upset as you would imagine.
Any help appreciated.
Thank you.

I search a lot spent hours but didn't find official or unofficial ROM for this Tablet. every question is unanswered like how to Flash, Root, CWM
Tokio 2 vanilla marshmallow 5"
Won one at the arcade, disappointed it wasn't 'L', as was looking to root it. But 'M', although with Google Play, doesn't have all the rest of the Mountain View GAPPs, just about Vanilla Android, and boy does it fly. Battery good so far, easily beats similarly spec Alcatel Popstar.
Soft buttons transposed at bottom, but not a biggy. Cleaner on longpress home button. Seems to be better color with big apps like Chrome, Opera etc., but just using bog standard nakedbrowser.com/android for now. There is a 7.5" Tokio iv in the arcade now...may well get it for summer.
Pity there's next to nothing about them in English on the net.

[Q] Sony Tablets are Starting to Fail on me!?!

So this is quite irritating at the moment. Me and my mom both have a Sony Tablet S (SGPT111US/S). Now both mine and my mothers are causing difficulties right now, and both have very different problems. So I'll start off with my moms tablet since it may just need to be waited out for the problem to go away.
Mom's Tablet:
This was just a couple days ago, My mom says her tablet froze at 10:03 (like it really matters what the time it froze at is) on the cradle. She had to press the reset button to turn it off, however the unit will not Turn on or even go to the Android Recovery Menu to preform a factory reset. As of right now it is connected by the plug rather than being on the cradle. I'm hoping that this issue can fix itself since others have had this experience before and got theirs working just by letting it sit a couple days on the charger, however if you have any ideas on getting it working sooner that would greatly be appreciated.
My Tablet:
I honestly don't know what has happened. Until a couple days ago I turned on my tablet and after it boot up problems emerged out of random the second the lock screen appears every single app crashes, not once but continuously. Even the home screen will crash and continuously reload itself, so getting to any app won't be possible and even at that when i do get to an app it's already crashed and i'm back at the home screen. To help make matters worse, the tablet won't remove Apps permanently, i can uninstall them (oddly enough while every app crashes without them even starting the settings doesn't crash.) however if i reboot the tablet everything returns like nothing ever left. I have even went to the Android Recovery Menu to try to factory reset the device, but the factory resets doesn't even reset even though the ARM says it did. So i'm stuck with this crashing loop and a Non-Factory Resetable tablet. I have tried to see if maybe rooting the tablet could help, but not even the Tablet will load itself completely when connected to my Computer so rooting is out of the question as well. Also the Bluetooth and Wifi won't turn off as well.
In the end,
Both Tablets have the current update (4.0.3 RA5) and both are Not Rooted. They are out of warranty so last thing i want to do is call Sony to repair my tablets for a fee. I would also like to note my tablet has been sent in once for repairs because it was stuck looping the boot screen, so my tablet has had trouble in the past, but since then until now i have never had any problems. I will admit, i do sometimes install cracked apps, the app i installed just a day before all this happened was Minecraft 0.7.2.......I have installed it on my EVO and Walkman Z and no problems have occurred and they still have the game.
Please any help for these tablets will be Greatly appreciated. Please Will you help Me?

How's your mum's tablet doing right now? If the issue still persists after what you've tried, I'm thinking maybe just let it run out of battery, charge it back up and see what happens. Also, have you tried using the pccompanion software to redownload and reinstall a fresh firmware back onto your tab? It's a more 'thorough' reset method as opposed to a factory reset through the tab settings.

[Q] VM ZTE REEF N810 splash logo then blank screen/can run android recovery mod

Hello there. I am sort of a noob at rooting phones, this zte reef was my third successful root(or so I thought) of prepaid virgin mobile cheapies. I mainly root to remove and replace the obnoxious VM boot animation on startup--anyone who has owned one of these knows it can wake the dead, and will likely be the root cause of the zombie apocolypse sometime in the near future. I also remove a bit of google bloatware that, as far as I can determine, nobody on the planet actually uses--none of the fancy custom roms and whatnot, and replace the launcher with my beloved Nova.
Anyhow, being a silly noob, and having no prior issues with my previous devices, I did not save any sort of backup this time around, did not install CWM, and carried on as usual. Phone worked fine for several weeks. Then last night I fell asleep with it in my pocket. Battery died overnight as it tend to do in these situations. I awoke, plugged it in, charging screen pops up as usual. Hour later I try to turn it on and after being greeted by the android splash logo......blank screen.
Rebooted. Same result. Rebooted in android system recovery, wiped some things, reboot. Same result. Hard reset, still nothing.
Cannot find ANY rom compatible with this device, much less the stock one. ZTE of course will not provide me with any help. ZTE Reef N810 Virgin Mobile
So here is my question--does anyone have the stock rom for this device? Or is there any other way I could perhaps build a update.zip with the core apps that the system would allow to be installed from recovery mode(I suspect the launcher replacement may have destabilized the system, although why it waited this long to collapse is beyond me).
Throw anything you think of out there, I will try anything and have plenty of time to toy with it. Have to go to the library for computer access, but have access to another VM phone(unfortunately running 4.4 dangit)
Also am able to boot it into Field Test Mode, not sure if that could be used to communicate with the device in some way? Trying to cover all possibilities.
Thank you for reading, and btw xda your forums are, in a word, awesome. Well played!

[Q] Need Some Good Help with HISENSE Sero 7 Pro!

OK, guys, I'm talking about, most likely, a fairly unique problem I have with my Hisense Sero 7 Pro. So, considering the events of this have occurred over a year ago, pardon me if I have a bad memory. Get ready for story time!
Somehow, I could not get my Hisense Sero 7 Pro to boot up Cyanogenmod. I believe that is the software I loaded on it. For whatever reason, I could not boot it. I mean, fine whatever, right? I still have fastboot or bootloader and those combinations of buttons so that I reflash my software if needbe. It should technically be only a temp brick. But for whatever reason, it became really low on battery, perhaps from me unsuccessfully attempting to change it. I mean so low, that it reached that magical number where all of a sudden the tablet itself doesn't think it has a battery. And thus, it wouldn't even charge. I used a myriad of chargers and attempted all sorts of things to jump start it to a point where I could get it charging again, but it couldn't. Thus, I gave up on this tablet, and got a Nexus 7 2013.
Sometime later (ie, now), I fished this old tablet out of a shoe box when cleaning stuff out. I mean, not that old, but whatever. I thought, why not give it another go? I grabbed a random charger and plugged it in. I left it for 30 minutes to sit there, not doing anything. When I returned, to my surprise, it had reached the magical HISENSE boot screen it had been stuck at previously. This meant, that for some odd reason, my tablet had begun charging to some point, right? Alas, I was very excited. Yes, the tablet was still stuck at the HISENSE screen, flashing off and on again every minute or so, as if it's trying to boot a software that's essentially bricked, it's not there. But it has the electricity throbbing through its veins. And thus, that is enough for me to be excited. Just recently, I tried to boot into fastboot, I believe. And the device threw my a Low Battery symbol. The same kind it threw me when I tried to start it up way back when, and continued to attempt to, whilst it didn't charge, until it was deader than Abraham Lincoln.
But now I have the charger that will charge it, and that's good enough for me. Next Steps? Obviously, wait around, right? Perhaps it's below that 10% locked threshold needed for it to boot into fastboot or recovery? And if that's the case, I'll update you guys on that, but if that's the case, then great. I've got it at that screen.
Now what?
What do I do to flash Cyanogenmod, or Clockwork if I don't have it for whatever reason, and then Cyanogenmod and get this old thing working again? It's a project, true, but if I can get it functioning, this tablet would be awesome to have around the house, and, either way, it's a fun thing to work on.
Thanks for reading my story, and if you can help, great stuff!
i would suggest you install the latest lollipop.
first you will need to install a new recovery (neither the stock recover nor CWM will work with the newer roms)
