THE UNPOLISHED ULTIMATE REAL ICON THEME FOR NEWT'S NOS M7 SENSE 5 v3.0.7
This is just a couple of days of me removing icons that aren't relative to SENSE 5 and resizing, renaming, and redelegating icons. It is UNPOLISHED and IMPERFECT (so not JBeitel's usual work), but I will be adding things and such. feel free to let me know what I miss beyond the obvious and I will do my best to update it as soon as possible. Unlike JBeitel's installation process, it does not use the Aroma installer so for now you are stuck with what I like.... sorry. I got the creators permission to post what I had so maybe some users will like some of it as opposed to all the simple flat SENSE 5 icons. Try is out and don't forget to nandroid in case you don't like it
I'll post more pix as I see them being more relevant to the changes in SENSE 5 vs SENSE 4+. As always if you like, hit the thanks button and especially thank those mentioned above who actually make all this happen

@low- Hey man. I just installed this and want you to know it's much appreciated. It's not the status bar icons I choose with RIT, but it's certainly MUCH better than default. Kudos to your efforts, bro. You've inspired me to learn about the Aroma installer to help you.

Is there something wrong with the dropbox file? Everytime I go to download it, it takes me to screen like it's going to download it only to change to a page saying it can't file the file. Any ideas?

This is what I get with both my mobile browsers. Not at a laptop right now

Had the same mobile browser error. Hit the download button fast enough to get it though. Installed fc'ed once then booted fine. Love the icons. This is what I want my phone to look like. However the quick setting are still light and the play store is also. Maybe I read wrong but I thought those should be dark themed after install? Thanks for adding to my flashing enjoyment.

This is a Desire (2.1 with Sense) for Nexus ROM. It is what I call barebones since I have removed most of HTC's bloat, ie Sense UI & Widgets. Why bother with the ROM then? Well, there are A few reasons I like the Desire ROM. A few being the copy/paste functionality, browser & social integration. It's a fast ROM with tons of RAM & memory to install apps. I hope you enjoy this ROM as much as I do.

Actually, eViL's roms were always awesome on the MyTouch. One of the few devs we had before everybody started making them compatible on the G1 and MyTouch. You can't compare him to King. . . well. . . you can, but it wouldn't be a decent comparison as eViL puts out original products.

I don't think we're impatient, we're just confused why you made a thread with nothing in it. You could have just waited until everything was ready to go to post the thread. It's not like there are only a limited amount of them available and they are going to run out...
I probably won't flash this rom, but at the very least, I found out that there is a battery percentage mod for desire roms. For this, I thank you.

I dont get people some times, give the guy a chance. Its not like you all have a bazillion roms to choose from and its cluttering up the pages of roms you're trying to choose from. I for one am glad another person has decided to try his hand at a nexus rom and if you would like to see more of them I would suggest a little more courtesy to the people that bring them to you.

The "CE" in the name stands for Championship Edition (a street fighter 2 reference), but I like to think the C also stands for community and/or customizable, control. So with that said, I've always wanted to use a ROM that had an interactive Aroma installer, so I made one. I am not a dev, I just wanted to make something fun to use, just making Aroma work has made me appreciate the real devs in this forum.

Known Issues:
-Cannot chose contact picture through htc contacts and AOSP gallery. Workaround: Use gallery and then set picture to contact.
-If AOSP lockscreen is selected you will need to unlock prior to answering calls. This is a known limitation of desensing a rom.
-Daemon controller may crash. Just keep trying to reload it and it will work and your settings will stick.
-Toggle2g requires root access and the phone process may occasionally stop. Just grant it access.
-Battery% mod is not accurate.

That's great! Let's help each other improve our roms.
So it looks like if I updated my firmware to flash ARHD, I will be good without doing it again (even though I restored back to my stock ics rom after)? It's been a while since I've had an s=off device and I don't remember if fw updates stick or if I went back to stock ics fw when I restored.

Well, a few days ago i released a version with trebuchet, and then people wanted apex. So i released an apex rom and people wanted trebuchet. If i were to chose between the two, i think apex is a bit better.
I really really want to figure out aroma installer...
Apex is better. My wife has both on her 4.0.4 MT4G and they're almost identical, but long press on home screen doesn't give an add widget option on Trebuchet

This ROM booted nice and clean. Everything seems to work great at first glance. That AOSP GB bootanimation is pretty fugly though... Replacing that is the first thing I will do

Can never make EVERYONE happy. Those that want a different launcher I'm sure know how to download apps by now. I didn't like sense on GB, so I used ADW. It wasn't that hard.

Some reason when I flash this rom I dont get past the HTC boot screen. IM S-off, super-cid and rooted. nothing, flashed the rom from cwm and 4ext? its only 200 some MB is that right?
I flashed other roms and no problem.

Some reason when I flash this rom I dont get past the HTC boot screen. IM S-off, super-cid and rooted. nothing, flashed the rom from cwm and 4ext? its only 200 some MB is that right?

try downloading it again and checking the md5. sounds like a bad download.

TBH, I wouldn't think so. I have lways been told my themes tend to speed up ROM's.
I of course didnt touch Apex.
Thank you, yes there will be more. I have only done small amount of coding, most is the inclusion of my images... Not sure how it would slow down? you reboot at least once? Also you can flash the revert to see if issue goes away. Of course lag is so subjective. LOL

Huh? universal? What do you mean?
Are you meaning so it can be flashed on any ROM? No,this cant be done, as different ROM's have done different things to their system files sir.
Are you talking about making it so it can be flashed on same ROM with different versions? Sometimes they do, depends on what the Dev changed in the ROM version, sometimes themes can be flashed on mulitple versions of same ROM. This can depend on wether a Themer gets support from the Dev to know what is changed, or themer goes through and checks and tells users it's still good.
As a general rule of thumb, unless it's stated, themes are only good for ROM versions they state.

First there is 4 different versions of CM10 right now.
Second, the official is in a nightly build, which means i could never keep a theme up.
Third, doesnt seem to be as much request or users on N10.. to see where this is goign to go with ROM/Dev support.
Forth, I have even written dev of this ROM and get no response.

For Now But the Files are just from the stock ALL4 and maid a patch.
I Believe All Clean Mods for 4.8 and 4.9 will work as well Try them out and Tell me how it goes I am still Testing everything

That was suppose to be in there I will look into it But my phone has reboot Options when I touch reboot it going to the extended Menu or it suppose to !

Try Version 2 and go to the google play store pick up GPS Test and run it go into the menu of the app and clear AGPS data and Update AGPS and you have to wait about 1-2 mins from a COLD Start GPS then it will Lock TRied it in many places and I can get a lock Distance 10 Feet From my self.

GPS Testing
GPS Takes a few Seconds up to 25 Sec. to lock try to turn off GPS toggle and turn back on then go to GPS test in the Rom (Its called a Cold Start only happens first time) and Get your lock Works Great if not Go to Settings of App and Clear AGPS and Update AGPS and then get your lock !
WIFI Disable Notifications
To Disable WiFi Notifications go to the WiFi and hit menu and go advanced and un-check the tell me if there are WiFi networks are available
4G Data Not Coming up
OK so I did notice that when I went out side to get 4G it wasn't coming up Turn off WIFI and and Turn off data Toggle then back on will come right up then you can turn WIFI back on and all works fine .

No sorry not Yet working on Clock position Menu But still working on it There is mods to change clock location on Scotts add-Ons for Ace and 4.8 Clean Roms Should Work fine with this Rom adding Clock menu Coming Soon

Looks good, downloading now, but I hope GPS works on my phone. Only two ROMs out there where GPS works. JellyBeans and stock.
Anyway, I have faith. Also the SD swap feature/mod, is that included in this ROM like it is in JellyBeans with Perseus? I really depend on that. I have so many large games that they don't fit in internal memory anymore.

Aosp messaging is working great just flashed a 4.1.2 version I had in archives and its working sending receiving / mms!
Also Extended power menu is (Tmn) is working also flashed successful
