Sent from my LG-P700 using Tapatalk 2

In theory it should not be any problem

is this firmware from 29.03 or from 24.03? :d

This is the European OPEN ROM LGP700AT-00-V20a-EUR-XX-MAR-08-2013+0

I flashed this but it was not smooth as I was hoping,so i tried to restore ICS from and NANDroid Backup.
No signal ._. Going to flash your v10k rom again.

Can you make a flashable zip for this. I'm really not comfortable using the kdz flasher ever
since I experience a bootloop after flashing the v20.

I have stock ROM V10K I got with phone, so im asking if I can flash V20A over it without deleting my apps and everything. I hate that ****ing V10K because it cant be rooted to restore apps with titanium backup. Hope you will respond to this.

Read the second post of this topic. I did exactly that and didnt lose anything. All apps were intact.

No SIM is inserted after KDZ flash
EDIT: Just waiting for ages it came back

What is the difference between the V10K and v20a? Is there a visual difference, or just the perfomance? How much free RAM memory? I downloaded rom and waiting for answer to install

oh my friend .. v10k is ics 4.0.3 but v20a is jellybean 4.1.2
there is no much difference in the in interfence because the stock rom based on LG UI .. ofcaurse there is many new features .. speed ,apps and etc.. the stock rom always take alot of ram so you'll find about 100:180 mb when no running apps ..
if you want o take an advice ..
CM10 rom with the smartass v2 kernel, v6 supercharger, kickass kernerlizer, seeder v7, 4ycl turbo engine, AC!D Sound mod and afew tweaks of pimp my rom ... you'll get another processor core

In KDZ,you left Phone Mode on DIAG. Try with EMERGENCY if your phone is in emergency mode.
Also, did you install the USB Drivers?

Handsfree not working
Only real problem I've noticed so far is that the handsfree mutes the mouthpiece otherwise good rom

[SOLVED] Stuck at Sony Logo whenever i try new ROM

Hello,
Currently i am using NEO V on ICS Spacious,Smooth & light ROM with Custom v3 kernel by Sharul Seth, i have an unlocked bootloader.
Whenever i try to install any other ROM like MIUI or any other ICS ROM by some other developer, my phone gets stuck at SONY LOGO for more than 10 minutes and i have to again n again switch back to my old custom ROM through CMW, i don't know what is the problem so i need suggestions from you guys, that is there a problem with the ROM or something else.
BTW i follow the steps correctly as mentioned like wiping dalvik cache, partition, data etc
still the phone takes forever to boot up and i have to switch back to my old custom ROM through CMW
*I was't able to find any threads with similar problem as mine therefore i posted a new one and moderators are free to delete this if they can answer by sending me link to some other forum.
Thank you in advance
how about trying to flash a standalone kernel first and then the rom of your choice? coz sometimes the kernels that comes from roms are not very friendly towards other roms i've been using this kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1521309
maybe is because the kernel that you are using is only for that custom rom, MIUI uses NE kernel or his own kernel inside zip file and aokp roms uses special aokp kernel
hi all.. first post
so i've been lurking aroma rom thread for a while, and finally pulled the trigger. this is the exact thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1603919

but after following the instructions on the flashtool software, my phone got stuck on sony logo, and then kept restarting
this is what shows up on the flashtool screen

anybody knows what the problem is? i would appreciate any kind of help. i have only done flashing step, before this accident happened. because the installation requires ICS firmware before doing any further action
2. there is a neo patch in the aroma thread, but there are no instructions for it. how do i use this patch, and when do i do it (after flashing ICS, after installing aroma rom, etc.)?
thanks in advance
1) tick "no final verification" when selecting fw in flashtool.
2) that zip needs to be flashed trough CWM recovery, after flashing the rom.

the rom works perfectly now.. only left with not installing the su binary, which was linked in that aroma thread before (under v2 how to). but i think the TS removed v2 how to, and i didn't get the chance to install the su binary yet. i don't know how it will effect my phone, but it works just fine now (don't know how will it be better with the su binary, though)

[Q] Issue with flashing the Xperia S ICS CM9

I'm having a bit of a problem flashing this rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1782771) onto my X10i. I've tried both the FXP and championswimmer kernels with the same abort message ("assert failed", then a couple of lines of text). Does anyone know the cause of this problem and/or a fix?
Installed the kernels from the very latest Flashtool (0.9.0.0), and I'm pretty sure the phone is rooted (I used to run doomkernel v6 medium overclock). Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Also, having a bit of a problem of mass storage from champswimmer's kernel. My computer seems to fail to find drivers for it whenever I connect it for mass storage and doesn't find it either. Anyone know about this as well?

Hi Panzerfaust,
I've been expecting the same issue, but then i realized that i didn't have my Bootloader UNLOCKED, so i went to this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254087, i downgraded back to 2.3.3 and then UNLOCK my bootloader using the information of header post of provided link

If you have cwm, you can flash directly to cm10 or other aosp based roms like aokp, slim bean, etc. Flash the v10 baseband after the rom, then your good to go.

Hello friends.
I am trying to fix my Lg Optimus L7 for 2 days now, i tried almost everything on the forum and still i cannot get my network working. Here is what i did so far:
Installed the Russian V10k via KDZ - Not working, i cannot get signal again
Installed 10 other KDZ files that should have "worked" but nothing
I flashed back v20a and i have network, then tried again to downgrade again no network
I Installed slimbean (when i am on v10k) and flash the zip v10baseband.zip - again no network
I get phone sim locked, network locked
Please help me, what should i do?
i'm sorry but i'm new to this kind of problem and i'm getting nowhere to the solution

- klick "root, backup, recovery"
- klick allready prepared files

You can flash any custom rom!!!!!

Flash boot.zip(see attachment)
C. Difficult way (only if the two things above fail)
I won't hold your hand how to use sp Flash tools, but I will provide you with the image. This is untested (not even by myself). I made this backup with MTK droid tools and prepared the block for sp Flash tools. Do not flash "PRELOADER" and the "DSP_BL" without any reason. (So never!!)

Jelly bean is nice and all, but....
Does this mean there is an upgrade rom in the works for 1.3? Because that would be really really great....really.

Not yet but you can backup your phone with mtkdroidtools, flash recovery (generate also with mtkdroidtools), backup in cwm, flash custom rom, restore boot.img from backup , wip and reboot. Everything should be fine and in case of failure you can always revert back!!
Dave
I've got cwm 6.0.4.4 installed on my Cubot One Turbo 0.8. Is it possibile use it to flash a different rom?

Yeah but it is more dificult make a cwm backup(make sure it isn't corrupt), wipe everything, install rom, restore boot.img from back-up and it should work (and you can revert back in cade of!)
Good news for everyone with a newer Cubot, who is looking for the v1.5.
Today the guys from Cubot finally replied to my emails.
This is the link for the 1.5 firmware:
http://pan.baidu.com/s/1nt5E6b3?qq-pf-to=pcqq.temporaryc2c
For me it worked out very well, I rescued my Cubot with it.
But be aware that this the latest version of the firmware, propably for the newer Cubot One.
Is there already news on any new ports for our Cubots? I tried to flash the new MIUI V5, but it doesn't work with the new Cubot One. I just see a grey screen after installing it successful. Man I would kill a OMNIROM or Cyanogenmod...
Regards
rob

Hi, I uploaded the backups of the recovery and the kernel to my Dropbox (because I can't attach files to my post using my smartphone).
Here is the link:
dropbox.com/s/0lff4msqxs6ak9e/Cubot%20ONE%20V1.3.zip?dl=0
Is there any Custom Rom for V1.3? Because the roms in the link you shared in your first post seem for V0.8 only?

If the ROM is in a rar file, you can flash it via SP_Flash_Tool. You have to extract the rar, then probably use the following guide.

Stock 4.4.4 23.0.A.2.105 Deodexed & Zipaligned Patch

Hi Everyone,I Have Deodexed & Zipaligned Z3's 4.4.4 23.0.A.2.105 Firmware
This Was Meant For The Single Sim Of Xperia™ Z3 With The Model Number D6603 Or D6653
Requirements
Unlocked Bootloader Currently
Rooted
CWM Recovery
After The Root Will Work On Locked Bootloader,You Can Also Flash This On Your Z3 With Locked Bootloader
You Will Need To Have A Rooted ROM With CWM Recovery
You Must Be On This Firmware (.105) To Flash It
Please Note That The Zip Only Contained System App,Framework & Priv-App
It Was Recommended To Flash This Zip On A Generic Firmware That Doesn't Contain Carrier Apps
The Odex File Will Be Deleted During The Installation & The Carrier App May Not Work Properly Because This Is Based On Generic Firmware
Installation:
1.Download The Zip & Move It To Your Phone
2.Boot Into CWM Recovery & Flash It
3.Clear Cache & Dalvik Cache
4.Done
Download:
Deodexed & Zipaligned 4.4.4 23.0.A.2.93 Firmware ( 520.3 MB )

Generic UK
Btw there's is no any carrier apps in the zip & all Generic ROM have the same apk & jar files
It may be worthwhile to put that in the requirements it does not need an unlocked bootloader, only root and recovery. I know currently you cannot have either of these without an unlocked bootloader, but soon (Finger crossed) we will get root without having to unlock.

+1.
^^ a great opportunity to learn!! in the cross dev sony thread there is tool and instructions to convert ftf into deodexed flashable (I don't code but created these for Z Ultra) Ill go find the threads and post and you can easily make your own (ro save @Ben Ling doing exact same thing)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2713329
[TOOL] Kamome tool for Windows - deodex tool for 4.4 KitKat
edit: sry, cannot find ftf conversion thread ~ from memory; unzip ftf, unpack system (the tricky bit, needs software), then kanome tool ~ will have to find proper instructions as this helps nobody lol

You can use the one you like
^^ if you use DoomLord cwm boot for root then flash AndroPlus kernel afterwards you actually end up with both cwm AND twrp (ftw)
Updated to .105
Hi,
I need help !! I own a D6603 Z3 model (with global generic firmware .93).
I unlocked the bootloader, then flash C.W.M recovery, then i flash this .105 de-odexed firmware, wipe cache and dalvik cache and finally, rebooting the phone.
But instead of the set up screen, i have a black screen with a blue line who shows up every 2 seconds at the bottom of the screen and i can't do anything !!
What am i missing ? I precise that i'm not a noob for flashing xperias phone.
P.S : I didn't make a backup before flashing cause i forgot, and flashtool doesn't works for Z3 yet so i can't flash any FTF Files.... :-/
flashtool works fine

I guess you are not on .105 firmware to flash this.
I forgot to edit the OP as I just updated to .105 build,so there wrote that you must be on .93 firmware.
Actually you will need to be on the same firmware to flash it in case anything goes wrong.
For now you can only reflash firmware using flashtool.

Thanks a lot for your replies, i dowloaded the latest version of flashtool as i had an old version and i managed to get back to stock.
I unlocked again, rooted and that's good for me now, even if i'm still odexed.
Just hoping now that some devs will bring us some custom rom cause it's quite sad to own this amazing phone and have no custom rom to play with...
Thanks anyway for your work on this de-odexed rom !
totally agree

I'd rather be on Sony's stock firmware (which i like by the way) than Touchwizz rom !! But i like custom rom as i can modify whatever i want Also, something great would be to get some mods for camera (higher bitrate video for example) and mods for audio... Fingers crossed !
