I'd love to see a theme for TWRP, I love to change everything from my phone/tablet, and TWRP is something i'd like to have themed, since I use it pretty often. If someone makes a theme I'd really appreciate it :good:

I'm on version 2.3.3.0 and cold steel is working.
I haven't upgrade to the latest, so I don't know if it works or not. If you try it, let's us know.

If you want something Holo then you could try this out. I use it on 2.4.4.0 and it's fantastic. Not sure how it will look on a tablet but its worth a shot.

I recently found a brilliant new rom for the desire and nexus one.
Its called Miui, and its kind of a mix from different platforms, but still based on android 2.2

well, We can't say anything... here are lot's of thing going on that we didn't think was possible.. besofe, some senior members told that 2.2 stable is almost impossilbe for hero, so same for hero sense.. but now, everything is going possible
so lets hope, developers look at this and make this done

i was saying a port of the current MiUi rom wasnt possible, it could possibly be re-designed for Hero hardware... but the devs would know best

Well there's a guy on the miui-dev forums saying that if he'll get it booted and working it someone can get it to mdpi resolution.. but how possible that is I'm not sure.

i also would like to see this on Hero, but... i doubt it could be due to hardware like mentioned before. but, ya never know!

This includes tons of bug fixes and it pretty much runs 100% except a few minor bugs here and there but pretty much everything has been fixed. I'm sure i'll try it cause they made a great rom for my Evo so i'm sure this will be good, but why get excited over an Alpha build??? I could see if it was beta or final, but its just Alpha...unless its THAT good??
Just installed the new cm7 release and it is a beautiful thing! Very few problems and NO major issues for me. And the install was fantastic - can't imagine how it could get any easier or faster! Amazing job!

yea just installed it....excellent rom only problem i have is i still don't have full market(missing about 10 of my apps) but no biggie.

I haven't used the B&N Reader but I currently use Aldiko (actually paid for the premium version, but the free version works fine as well) and Kobo for all my reading, and I think both work great.

CM7 is a beautiful thing! I am now a PROUD owner of a Nook Tablet! The only problem I have is video playback being a tad choppy but I can live with that. It will be fixed sooner or later.
The Nook for Android on the Market IMO is 10 times better that the Nook for Nook Tablet!
I replaced the B&N reader app with Cool reader and im just glad that cool reader lets me scroll up and down to read instead of flipping pages. guess I am just use to scrolling a lot more then I am flipping pages since I read stories in a web browser a lot and they just have scrolling. hmm havent really checked on if the app keeps my place yet or not with it in scrolling mode hope it does

While I love the other features of the rom, I prefer the readability of the black-text-on-white Gapps... and as of the last couple versions, it doesn't seem to be working anymore.
Can anyone confirm this and/or suggest an alternative approach?

well i just tried flashing them myself and the only thing that changed was the GTalk app... hmmm. i also have the Red Alert theme installed though, do you have any themes installed?
edit: wait, i flashed the wrong file i think... im gonna redo it lol... >.>
edit2: hmm i see... it doesn't do anything for mine but like i said i have the red alert theme going too... i'm about to try it with the standard theme though
Probably cause he moved the apks to a different directory. You could manually do it

Thanks, pr, for checking on that for me. I wasn't able to make it back here to answer your earlier question, but it looks like the fix has already occurred.
Thanks also to localceleb - I figured there was probably a manual way to do it, but didn't quite have the time to research that out on the forum here and do it properly. As a semi-noob, I try to break with the norm and actually read to find the answer first... that takes time!
Plus, I figured if 'Neo was particular enough to put a patch out there, it'd be a good idea to point out that it might need a refresh.

The RUU is completely uploaded now and I have pulled the rom.zip from the RUU as well.
The rom.zip is indeed encrypted, as has been every Sense4+ JB RUU that I have seen.
I currently have someone I know looking through things to see where the encryption(extra bytes) are and where they are removed or how exactly it's all going down.
I have faith in the fact that I have asked the right person.
Depending on the outcome, will determine what gets posted.
If anyone would like the RUU posted for now, I will be happy to post the link for that.
Can't wait until my DNA arrives....

Does anyone know of a dark or black material design style theme for Lollipop? Could some kind soul port one from another device like the Nexus 5?
I messaged the guy who designed the one for the nexus 5 about this, he asked for the frameworks, I gave him them and he never got back to me. Might be worth asking him again, show it's more than just me who wants this
Xposed now has a Lollipop themer, but it's pretty basic. It doesn't make all of the menus and screens dark / black, but it does a good job for now. I'm sure with more updates it will get better.
If we can find someone that knows what they are doing this guy has a great thread that shows how to make a theme.

i might be able to help but since im not rooted i have no way to get those files unless someone can post them for me or once i root and that should be soon ill work on it then. But im with you this would be awesome
Edit: i just talked to a awesome dev named chubbz normally he works on HTC phone but he will set down with me one of these night teaching me how to theme so we all can have this awesome black theme fingers crossed this should be great

nope im with you on that it only changes a few things but I guess sometimes something is better then nothing
