[Q] Bricked phone perhaps? - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

So I rooted my phone using this link http://htcevohacks.com/htc-evo-4g-l...tc-evo-4g-lte-unlock-bootloadertwrp-recovery/
and it worked. So I decided to flash a new ROM to my phone. So I went into recovery (TWRP 2.4.4.0) used superwipe, installed Liquid-JB-v2.1-RC2-jewel and when I flashed the ROM. It stated successful. I then rebooted my phone but after the HTC sceen it just stays in a black screen. I then hard restart (if that is what it's called) my phone to the bootloader screen and went into recovery and wiped into factory settings in tried to flash another ROM and it just stayed at the HTC screen. So my question is,"Is it possible to flash a ROM to my phone if S-ON?"
When entering bootloader this is what my phone says at the top.

Your problem is that you are S-on, so you need to either flash a ROM with a S-on kernel installer (MeanBean or ViperROM are two choices there), or fastboot flash the kernel. Get S-off and you won't have this issue

So am I limited to ROM's then??? If so, how do I S-OFF my phone at this stage???

You can also use flash image gui from the market to flash the kernel

The DirtyRacun method. Do you have to have a Linux based computer to do it or can you use a Windows based computer?

Make a LiveCD from ubuntu and boot it from your windows machine

Alternatively you can flash the kernel in fastboot. Then flash the rom as normal.
Extract the boot.img from the Rom's zip. Boot into your bootloader. type
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Then reboot into recovery and flash as normal. No flash image gui needed.

So I've rooted my phone and got the bootloader. Now in all the videos I've watched, it says your device should be S-OFF but on the top of mine it says

So, I'm not sure exactly where I'd even go from here. Does anyone think they could give me a step-by-step instruction on what to do to get CM10 with this?
Well, first of all, what HBOOT version do you have?
And second, read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1869377

*blows smoke away from finger tips and holsters them*
Sorry, I'm kind of new with messing with Android and rooting.
My HBOOT version is 1.19.0000
As far as HTCdev unlocked my bootloader, I went to the site and put in the Identifier Token and did all that, yeah.
Then you should start by flashing a custom recovery. I suggest TWRP. Then, you can take a backup of your stock ROM (highly recommended) and flash a custom ROM. With HBOOT 1.19, you will need to extract the kernel (boot.img) from the ROM zip file and flash it separately using fastboot.
Again, I highly recommend reading all of this before starting: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1869377

follow poster ^^^ instructions. just a additional piece of info. with that Hboot you will not be able to s-off. you can still install cm10 but expect more required steps to achieve your goal.

I'm pretty sure I have a custom recovery. I'll link the video because I remember him specifically mentioning TWRP in it.
As far as what else you're talking about, I really have no idea. Over my head. I'm reading through that thread right now though.
http://htcevohacks.com/htc-evo-4g-l...tc-evo-4g-lte-unlock-bootloadertwrp-recovery/
I used this to root and get TWRP recovery.
If you used the linked steps, then yes, it installed TWRP. All you have to do now is flash the CM10 ROM zip using TWRP, and flash the kernel (boot.img) using fastboot. You can get the kernel out of the CM10 zip file.
The guide I linked has more info on fastboot, what it is, what it does, and how to use it.
The guide has also stopped crack babies from eating each other...OK maybe not but instead of viciously biting they only slightly gnaw now
Understand your boot loaders limitations.
You're gonna have to fastboot flash your kernels

Meaning, get your phone back into a known-good state. Then go back and make your modifications or flash your ROMs making sure that you follow all the steps to do it properly. If you can't find the steps, need to do research to know what those are.

You don't have to be S-off to run CyanogenMod. You need to extract the boot.img from the ROM and flash it via fastboot commands in the bootloader. Then you can flash the ROM itself from recovery. I explain this pretty clearly in my guide.

If i were you i would leave it be with S off. Then run a 2.89 RUU which will bring the device to 4.0.4, 1.58 hboot
Then flash Twrp or cwm via fastboot, flash SuperSU or Superuser and you're good to go.
