Hello .. As you know Friends this port of Snapdragon Battery Guru app from Xperia Z
And Now , I have fix a problem that sometimes , This apps says your device is incompatible though you have also followed my earlier instructions
hmm .. In This update I have new line in build.prop
1. Download this port from below..
2. You need to add Some lines to build.prop
3. Open Your File Manager with Root enable
4. Now go to system and open build.prop .. add this lines in it :-
Be Careful Dont play with these lines...

Yes you can restore your previous backup... But above lines doesn't cause brick.. I have edited and my previous thread, so many members have also edited there build.prop.. As I have told to do

Edit build.prop by your phone Only ,..don't by pc and pushing it to your phone.. If you 'll do so then you ll get boot loop...

Did you added that lines in your build prop then did you have rebooted then installed app??

Hello!
I have a Galaxy Player 5.0, and I am interested in changing the build.prop file to indicate to the App Store that it is a Galaxy S phone. I would like assistance with that, as well as any answers to the following questions:
1. Risks?
2. I have some commercial apps, and would like to avoid changes that might remove data they rely upon to confirm they are activated (read "paid for"). What do I need to know/do/do-I-need-to-be-slapped-silly?
3. Any ideas as to what data in the build.prop file is often used for purpose of activating (indicating are activated) commercial apps, such as for applications like Sygic, that I should also back-up in case of need in the future, such as with a ROM or Android OS upgrade that might break them?
I just figured-out rooting, (heck, and before that, just figured-out what the different USB modes were in order to make Kies work), then had to work-around the apparent inability of Windows to browse the system in any mode (used Android Commander by PanPiotr), so please forgive how green I am in regards these things: I was on Linux forever and avoided messing around with the GP 5.0 due to old recommendations about updating firmware to the latest before doing this or that, and given I couldn't run Kies, I wasn't sure how to do it at the time.

I don't know enough to begin to answer your question, but what I do know is the following:

As stated, if you just change the product model in build.prop, it will probably result in bootloop, as it did for me. Using the build.prop file posted by eng_matt on page 4 worked for me (fixed the bootloop), but resulted in the swype "glitch", and the app I wanted from the Play Store was still considered incompatible.
You may want to consider using Titanium Backup to save your applications and data.

To change the model NO. all you have to do is edit ro.product.model. To change it to the Galaxy S, change it to look like:
ro.product.model=GT-I9000
Note that Google market will still see your Gplayer as a 5.0, not as a galaxy S, but most apps (not sure about ones already installed), and websites (hello gameloft!), will recognise you as the modded product.model line.
Exactly what the title suggests, will the s4 be able to spoof as the Moto X for ingress for the new weapon? And will it be possible to only spoof that app? And what kind of harm can come of this?
Edit:.. I meant to say the new Droid ultra/maxx/Mini one of those should work.

remember how quick they made the galaxy photosphere camera work without hacking the build prop? this should be a couple days tops. I heard that only the motorolas can get the new bursters from hacks. but all can fire plus they will probably be dropped from codes like all the new mods.

If we could get a hold of the build.prop from the Moto X, we could copy the ro.product.brand, ro.product.name, and ro.product.device information, that would probably work. :good:

I replaced ro.product.brand, ro.product.name, and ro.product.device with information from one of the other released phones, and when launching ingress got a bonus intro package of gear for using the new Motorola device. So changing them does work.
I won't tell you which phone or what the values I changed them to are though, as technically it's cheating. I did just to see if it would work.
I'm still questioning the morality of using the ill-gotten items myself, may end up just recycling the items while at 100% XM and revert to my original build.prop.

I replaced ro.product.brand, ro.product.name, and ro.product.device with information from one of the other released phones, and when launching ingress got a bonus intro package of gear for using the new Motorola device. So changing them does work.
I won't tell you which phone or what the values I changed them to are though, as technically it's cheating. I did just to see if it would work.
I'm still questioning the morality of using the ill-gotten items myself, may end up just recycling the items while at 100% XM and revert to my original build.prop.

Prerequisites:
TWRP 2.7.0.0 Installed and working (not tested on CWM recovery)
FULL nandroid Backup
At least 3GB free space on internal memory (not including ZIP file)
Install:
Boot into TWRP recovery.
*** Make a Full backup before proceeding. ***
Flash .zip file in TWRP recovery.
Go take a walk, make some coffee, pace around nervously. Keep Calm... this will take a while! Be patient!!
Flash TWRP 2.7.0.1 for 4.4.2 in recovery (if not already installed)
Reboot device.

Known Issues & Fixes:
Boot loop when booting into TWRP with USB plugged in
FIX: Install TWRP 2.7.0.1 for 4.4.2, this fixes bootloop while USB plugged in, and also fixes screen dimming issue.
Workaround: If running TWRP 2.7.0.0 for 4.2.2 - Unplug USB after device reboots. It should boot into Recovery without issue. Replug USB after TWRP has booted.

Downloaded this from AFH. Works nice, but the kernel could use the gamma tweak. You can update all the lg apps after you flash. I like the fact that fbreader now uses the full screen.

Do you still have root? I wanted to restore some apps, but Titanium Backup keeps saying "asking for root rights", so I downloaded rootchecker and now it tells me I don't have root access :/

I had an error with meteo widget stock and i fixed after i installed the US version of this(I have a romanian EU version).Before install the ZIP ROM(US version) i Rooted and install the TP recovery thanks to the great OP on this big forum. I sideloaded it and made sure I had selected Survival mode in SuperSU before I flashed it. You can be rooted but no system files could have been removed/modded. I mean if anything in the system has been changed it will fail. Things can be added but nothing from the original system can be removed/altered

There are 7454 changes made between 4.4.2 and 4.4.3, so... good luck with that
Android Police is probably going through it now, and I guess they'll post about the biggest changes when they're done (in a year or three I guess)

I have the update it is a 154MB zip and am trying to upload it to my Box account. After that I am willing to restore to stock, flash update then pull what you need. I will require some instruction for mounting system and data. Awaiting your command.

I have the handset i found a service running by the name sim contacts i del it after rooting and get 10 to 15 mb ram free i think this service is stopping to other network sims after doing that other networks are shown in the network sim but still unable to connect but now it is showing the networks. now a senior member or developer can help all of us. hope others will help all the pak handset keeper

If you have install sdk drivers are in android sdk folder (C:\....where ever you have downloaded......\android-sdk-windows\extras)
but these are sdk drivers for adb/fastboot.....you want to run apps from laptop ......... or install from laptop ?
mean not from play store......! If yes then .......go to ...setting/ about phone / build number
tap 7 times on build number ....then you will se developer option in settings ...go there
check verify apps over USB......
