T-Mobile Bloat - T-Mobile HTC One (M7)

Is there a way to uninstall all the T-Mobile software that is included with the phone? The T-Mobile my account stuff is annoying me.

You will have to root and then you can use titanium backup to remove bloat.

Yeah I did that, but after a restart of the phone, the apps come back.

You can use root explorer and change to RW not RO
Then I think its in data/app

Worked fine for me. At you just freezing them or completely uninstalling them from titanium backup?

[Q] Captivate to SG2 apps?

Can I just install apps+data through TitaniumBackup that I had on my Captivate and install them on the GS2?
I did. Rooted then restored apps with data. Stay away from system restore.

how to get rid of stock apps

Been searching on how to get rid of stock apps. I have seen nothing on this yet. Anyone willing go help out as little?

Are you rooted? If not get rooted and flash a new rom like CM7/MIUI. If your already rooted you can flash a new rom or use an app like Titanium Backup to hide the apps.
Well i would actually like to remove them. And yes im rooted. On tsm res. right now and it has a few apps i would like to get rid of

Freeze them tibu
Then you can remove any app you want with Titanium Backup, or Terminal Emulator.
I use root uninstall free will let u remove any app on phone

That root unistaller was probably the best apl i have used. Wish they would automatically add that into builds

Ya I know but all the good stuff is in the pro Version though. Frost time that am planning to use one have gotten addicted to flashing an trying new roms just hate reinstalling all my important apps. Such a pain.

The important stuff is free in titanium, but the pro version adds enough goodies to be worth it.

Go backup is quite the beast. I would still use tibu for uninstalling system apps but go backup does everything tjbu does in a cleaner way

Rooted & looking to uninstall bloat

What's up everyone. Just rooted my Rezound and wanted to get rid of some of the factory installed apps/games etc....
Is there a list of "YES" and "NO" things that I can uninstall so I don't remove something I shouldn't.
Also I got Root uninstaller from the market, will this app do the trick or should I use something different.
Thanks in advance.

Since your rooted, you could try Titanium Backup. It allows you to "freeze" apps which has a similar effect to actual removal but you can unfreeze them if you need to. There are some old list around but they have not been updated in a long time. I have frozen about 43 user apps--just stay away from system apps.
Good luck.
Nvm
Thanks I'll give it a shot
