[Q] Into The Dead - Gyroscope background process after exit - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After i exit the game, and forced closed the app to make sure its really closed, i found out there's still a process call "Gyroscope" running, FYI the game uses the gyroscope sensor for the controls.
I couldn't find a task name gyroscope using LBE security master.
Below is a screenshot of Gsam Battery Monitor usage of battery for my phone.

The CPU timer is the same for both screenshot, but the gyroscope timer is still running despite is already closed.
I realized this coz i played the game a while last night, and when i wake up to check the battery usage i realized the gyroscope timer is running the whole night.
Is there a way to stop gyroscope from running after i exit the game? Thanks.
I'm using Sony Xperia Z, 4.1.2, stock rom .

As a user of the Moto X Pure, one of my favorite features is the lockscreen. You can unlock the screen using the motion sensor with the Active Display feature. They also do a great job of displaying your notifications in a way that gives you maximum information at a glance. I've wanted to bring the features of this lockscreen to my other Android devices and I think I've finally found a good solution for that.
AcDisplay is a lockscreen app that's a decent replacement if you're looking to step up your notification game. You'll also have the "Active Mode" which is the same as the Active Display feature from the Moto X. Since the app uses very little CPU power this isn't going to be a battery hog, which was my main concern about an app like this.

[HUAWEI MATE 9] Some background apps close after a certain amount of time

On my Mate nine I have a KSWEB webserver running (Lighttpd+PHP+MySQL) which works excellently and has a very low battery consumption.
I have been using this app for years, on other devices as well.
I use it for having replicas (i.e. just a 1:1 copy from my webserver) of my websites offline, so I can show them without internet connection, and for testing purposes.
But on this device the KSWEB app just finishes (browser gives 'website not available') and after starting KSWEB manually, it keeps running for about a day and then it stops.
I think this is not a KSWEB issue, but a battery saver / doze issue on Nougat.
I know that Android 6+ has a 'doze' function which stops background apps when the screen is off for a certain time, but I have excluded KSWEB (and some other apps) from stopping in the background in battery saver, but that won't help.
Is there a way to keep certain apps running in the background ?

Android 10/11 Fast Battery Drain & Overheating

I've had my Pixel 3XL taking 5 hrs to charge the battery with the screen off, using the supplied charger. CPU usage constantly at 80%+. Temps 43C+ during normal use (not playing games or videos, not encoding whatever)
This has been happening for a couple of months, and today I found out why. I noticed that some music apps (soundcloud, spotify, tunein radio) would have their last played song/station persist in the drawer for way too long, and couldn't be dismissed.
SOUNDS>ADVANCED>MEDIA>Hide player when the media session has ended.

Question Adaptive brightness = screen too dark

Hi,
I have a s23 ultra since a few months.
Everything were fine, but since 1 week, screen is a bit too dark with adaptive brightness on.
I don't why but when I'm at home, the phone is usable but too dark.
Outside, I have to manually increase luminosity.
Do you have any idea?
Do you use a screen protector? If yes is it one of those privacy ones? Those are darker
Have you run Diagnostics in Maintenance menu?
There's a proximity recognition there. Try that.
There are android apps, example, DevCheck, that lets you check sensor data like this one called Light.
Check if everything is normal there.

Hi,
I use the same tpu screen protection since the first day, it's not a privacy one .
I've launched "sensors" and "proximity" diagnostic with no problem
