I'm new to samsung devices, so I have a few questions about this rom.
1. In updater-script there is flash_modem command, which i can't see nor in update-binary nor in cwm recovery binary. Is it really flashing modem? If so how it is done?
2. There is hidden.img image and I don't see any command to flash it. Is it flashed automatically based on partition name?

Please Download from Here http://storagecow.tk/index.php?dir=Xda/Galaxy+Note8+N5100/ from now on Had to Move the File. Thanks.

[SOLVED] Samsung Keyboard with all languages

Hi forum
One of the only things I miss from the stock ROMs is the Samsung keyboard, which has extended number of languages. Although I know that keyboard lacks customisation options, it's bug-free and is the ONLY one that has the correct key layout for my language.
As it seems, you can't mix odexed apps and deodexed framework, so naturally I couldn't "port" the keyboard as is.
I tried to deodex the AxT9IME.apk but being a total noob, I failed several times, from just text fails like "Error occured while loading boot class path files" to doubling ALL the files on my HDD ( YES it happened... stil deleting ).
Can someone please deodex the AxT9IME.apk from KF3 (and make it work with KH3 if needed?). Since I lack the brains to do even that simple thing
I've attached the files.
Here, just flash it on any rom and get your languages :

Hi Guys!
Could you please explain to a newbie how to "just flash it"?
I upgraded from original 2.3.3 to stock 2.3.5 (XXKI3), and by doing so left myself without Czech and Russian swipe support, both of which I need for my work.
Would much appreciate it.
PS The phone is rooted.

[CWM BACKUP] Stock Indian V20D ROM CWM backup

I had lately seen a lot of requests for the Indian V20D (2.3.3) stock ROM. So i thought of making a clockworkmod recovery restorable backup.
Initial inspiration came from - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1824618&highlight=kdz
Mods & tweaks
- Pre-rooted
- Updated busybox (v1.20.2)
- All Gapps updated to current version (As on 24/10/2012)
- wpa_supplicant file has been tweaked so that now it can also detect ADHOC (WEP) WiFi networks apart from the usual WPA2/PSK (AP mode) ones.
- Build.prop file has been tweaked considerably to increase performance.
- No default file manager. You can install any from the playstore and thinkfree office can also be used as a file manager for basic functions.
Instructions :
1. Extract the downloaded rar file and place the "clockworkmod" folder in /sdcard (basically on your sdcard).
2. Boot into CWM recovery.
3. Go into mounts & storage and format boot, cache, data, system and sd-ext (if any).
4. Then go back and into backup and restore and restore the backup file you had previously placed in the sdcard.
5. Reboot.
***If for some reason you encounter "com.android.settings has stopped responding" and get a black screen on boot then just power off and boot into recovery and do a wipe data/factory reset and reboot again. If it happens again, then repeat the procedure until solved (trust me it gets solved within once or twice)***
***USB debugging mode has to be enabled at all times in order to grant root privileges to apps. otherwise apps that require root will crash continuously.***

I would recommend deodex. If you want to customize framework you will need deodex. If you don't then it won't matter anyways. You won't notice the difference.
