CarbonRom is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. The team is composed of former members of Team Liquid who have forked the code in an attempt to bring greater speed, better coding, and full authorship to code. We are in no way affiliated with Liquid0624. The rom was forked at Liquid beta 3.2.1 and has since undergone major code changes and modifications.
We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.
Please feel free to look at, build, and use our code on CarbonDev GitHub.

Enjoy

As usual, this is mine.

What ROM to choose....
Demetris, your contributions are amazing... thank you! I just installed Liquid (with your 1.66 kernel), and it is running great. Do you recommend this ROM over that one? I'm not sure where to go from here ...that's a good thing.
Thanks again!

I can speak from a developers view point only.
On liquid i was on my own, there was no support from Team liquid at all.
On Carbon i was pleasantly supriced by the welcome warmth and support i found from Carbon team developers.
All Roms have individual features tailored for any taste. Only you, the user can try and decide what suits your needs as an android Operating System.
Overrall, all roms have their fanatic followers so the choice is always and only yours.

My Nook shuts off after the Carbon splash screen. I can't get it to boot all the way.
All the way, AIRBORNE!

OK YouTube app freezes the video and all I hear is the sound... Battery is impressive on this but I do feel like I have less ram available to use on this...gonna try liquid smooth now and see how that works put.
FYI demetris...does your not kernel work on any of these new ROMs?

No bugs to report as of yet. Great work . But how can I change the bottom right battery icon, WiFi, and clock icons. I would like to make them bigger.

There's a bug where the screen becomes black at random moments. But a simple lock and turn back on fixes it.

Awesome so far keep up the wonderful work.

I will do more work on the kernel in the future but it won't be like my s2 or n2 shift. S3 has one too that's different. What sound mods do other kernels have for this device? I'll add more govs as well. For now the only change I made to the kernel is setting it to permissive

I hear you're a themed and now I realize who you are. I was using your dark theme until I got mine going. They ware similar but mine is darker and with our blue throughout. I will get you the custom icons we use that we whited out if you'd like to add them to your theme so they turn white as well. They aren't in the source anymore since we reverted the hard coded dark we had been using

I was talking to Johnny about getting your dark theme up, seems like all is well from you! That would be great to get the icons, or I could do them myself as I am running it on my OPO

Awesome! Loved the AOsip on nexus 6. Flashing time! What kernel? Does it have double tap to wake default?

Also, is there a way to change the settings background from grey to white?

The day/night toggle is what will switch you from the dark theme (gray- night) to white (day).. Settings/ display/ theme
Does day/night toggle work with themes?

Great to see you Smitty
Hey this ROM is sexy
Fantastic rom, great to be back on AOSIP since I left Shamu. I must be blind, but can someone point me to the setting to disable the weather in status bar/quick settings?

[ROM][OFFICIAL][11.0] Evervolv for Google Nexus 6

Evervolv is an AOSP (Android Open Source Project) rom that has roots dating back to 2011 with the Google Nexus One. Ditto....
I am definitely in on this one. It sounds like a very good rom and I'm getting ready to try it now. Thank you for sharing with us.

So far this rom is very nice. I like the concept behind it and the fact that it is AOSP based with the CMTE theme engine included just makes it great. I am looking forward to seeing how this rom developes and will be keeping it on my device with, the help of "multirom" of course..lol... Thank you once again..
Last nightly look's like 7/2 for Shamu, hope all is well. Great ROM, thanks for including the N6.
Yeah, nothing has been merged recently, builds dont run unless changes are pushed.
Wow, if I remember correctly this was the first ROM I flashed for my Droid Incredible
I knew it sounded familiar. LOL
Android 11 = Evervolv 11

That build has some experimental changes, the sensor is a known issue. The build is more a proof of concept at this point. I needed an easy device to bring up and test features while I got my oneplus3 and oneplus7pro going.
[Edit] I updated the post to reflect android 11 development. I wasn't planning on supporting this device but here we are. To those that found my builds without any announcement from me or the Evervolv team, you are the real hero today.
