[MOD][5/18] - Tether and Network Mode Hack for all Carriers on AT&T Base - AT&T HTC One (M7)

This is the hack that will take away the AT&T 4G icons and replace them with the HSPA style icons. Its a framework change from AT&T to International which will bypass the tether check. It will act like its an international phone instead of AT&T based giving you access to the connection type menu in connection settings.
This hack will also unlock the mobile connection type menu.
There are two types of files... De-Odex and Odex.
Odex would be for stock ROMS.
De-Odex would be almost all custom ROMS. Check with your favorite ROM Dev
Big thanks to Mike1986. for posting the De-Odex international base in which I got the file I needed to do this :good:
And of course if you make an AT&T Based ROM feel free to use these files.

Yeah, I can respect that!

Behaving like the International HTC One
I installed the deodex version on top of your CleanROM 2.0 (incredible work btw). My radio now seems to jump on and off LTE like my Dev Edtion HTC One did (on ATT) so much that I returned it for the ATT version. I fear that this will cause my battery to drain quicker. When I restore my backup, the ATT LTE signal seems to stick consistently.
I'll be travelling abroad soon, have SIM unlocked, and would love the option to turn LTE off.
Is what I'm seeing just cosmetic?
Thanks so much! and expect a beverage soon!

You can actually use either mod. But my mod is designed more for people that want the ability to change Radio Mode and its mostly for NON AT&T Customers running the AT&T firmware or an AT&T Based ROM.

Also, ETA on when this will arrive?

[Q] safe to install t0lte roms?

Title pretty much says it all. How different is the i605 from the t0lte? Is it safe to assume compatibility for roms/kernels? Until I hear definitively, I'll assume it is not. I know it's a different piece of hardware, but is it so different that I need to specifically seek out roms for the i605 rather than just using what I can find for the t0lte?

That's what I thought, but everywhere I look developers make a distinction between the verizon note 2 and the "regular" note 2. Cyanogenmod, for example, has separate builds for the two devices. Is that just to make guys like me feel secure? Because it in fact makes me worry more.
I know that cm tolte wont flash i tried thinking it was right and a no go so with that said..i dont really know :/
You know what, after further thought and digging. The get.cm site has two different builds (t0lte and i605). My fault. But it shouldn't be a huge problem if you accidentally flashed the t0lte build as opposed to i605.

Yeah, I forgot that t0lte and i605 are distinguished differently because of Verizon carrier specifics. But they are not far off in similarities.

with the above said can the t0lte CWM recovery be installed to make future flashes of the CM t0lte roms easier? Are the modems interchangeable as well? I care nothing about the verizon carrier/branding specifics for this i605.
Answered first Q, yes, the t0lte recoveries can be flashed and that will allow flashing of the t0lte CM roms.

so all in all, it's possible to theoretically flash a t0lte aosp (maybe?) rom or a TW rom if maybe we flash the patch? would that help at all?

okay, so not to bring a dead post back up but, is it feasible to flash a t0lte kernel to the i605 and everything work? or should I not even try this? I'm curious because there's one kernel I definitely want to run (devil kernel), used to run it on my fascinate and I loved it.
Thanks!

Also there is a version of DevilKernel made for all US Note 2s.

[ROM][4.4][CM-11.0] For HTC One Max 809d(t6dwg)

The graphics is ok, hwcomposer also runs smoothly, but no Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth, no camera, no mobile signal and etc, just a test version.

Short of building one yourself, no. Just gotta wait on HTC to get off their ass. With Samsung we had a guy on the inside helping us out. I don't know anyone in HTC. So basically, we just wait. It sucks. But that's how it is for now.

sorry to be rude, but could you upload what you have done so far possibly, if not maybe just the boot.img? as im interested to see what you have done. If not im cool, still really impressed
Would be awesome to get a working Sprint variant for this!

[MOD] [WIP] APN/Data/Call Flashable zip for custom ROMs [Status Update 5/16]

Here is a flashable zip for roms to get sprint data to work (flashes the apns from and2 update). This is for future development and possibly to get data for other variant roms as well. Also, this zip may help if data lost for one reason or another (we all know its happened before one way or another). I've also loaded the apn-config with added apns for various variants. Uploaded to help development. This zip will (on international versions right yet) only give data and call signal (only broke thing is sms sending, can receive sms and send/receive mms great). As always....

EDIT 5/12: Need beta testers for test zip v1.3 for call/sms/data to work on international roms. Pm me for test zip.
EDIT 5/13: We have got calls/data/mms and sms (send/receive to work), just need to iron out few more bugs then we should be ready for a release soon.
EDIT 5/16: Noticed Alliance ROM Listed as Compatible, need testers to see if true or if it just boots (no data/calls/etc)

Couldn't we take an international gs5 Rom, inject our kernel, this mod and have a working Rom?

Just uploaded, Test if this new one works, named sprint-apn.zip
I might try a international Rom. Do I flash our kernel after I flash the rom or would it need to be put into the zip before flashing?

The international ROMs are currently being worked on to work with Sprint variant, still trying myself to getting the APNs to work currently. They may release update (most ROms reported) before next week with Sprint fix. Normally though, you'd flash kernel after Wipe Data/Cache then ROM flash before kernel or any MODs.

Just went to the SM-G900F ROM, many boot just fine and some have signal bars but NO DATA yet. I hope fix soon, would like to try it out and see. Currently, the data/wifi signal icons all changed from Sprint to Samsung stock icons in status bar, the international dialer as well. Have to see unless I can get this first to work by messing around.

SM-G900F is standard international, GSM, qualcomm version for Samsung S5. Sorry, I goofed in typing, its 1:10 am here haha. But they're porting the ROM for everyone (CDMA and GSM soon). The one I tried so far is Shohat ROM to test some features, but data limits my testing for now. Until data (them or me) gets it working, the ROMs are limited.... for now haha.

Can you try for me another SMS/MMS app such as Go SMS or sliding pro messaging because they have manually configurable points for sending. Just a test if your willing to try. Using inner client from those apps, see if you can send anything.

So, are we getting a Nougat ROM anytime soon?

Sure, we can flash any of the hlte nougat roms, but cell data won't work. Is anybody out there working on a proper hltespr nougat rom?
I am also interested in this.

I would be willing to put the work in to do this if someone could instruct me how to. What are the factors that make a ROM service specific?

If you are still looking....I have had success with this one.
Edit - It is MM but it has a nougat look.
[PAUSED][ROM][TW] [6.0.1] [FOUGAT ROM]《N7/S8 [v6] [23/05/17]》《C9/S8 [02/05/17]
Use this kernel DarkLord-Kernel-Marshmallow-NewUX-hlte-spr-V2.0
Make sure to turn off "Report Diagnostic Info" to keep your service from pulsing
If you don't get service with this one, be patient, I modded a version to add a CSC selector in the aroma (it got me service). I'm just waiting for the Dev to give the "OK" on it before it can get out.

May I ask how you got mobile data and MMS to work on RR nougat? I've tried manually setting up the APN not to mention flashing a couple apn .zips that I usually use with troublesome ROM's but nothing I do works. I can't get mobile data to work with RR nougat no matter what I try. Any info/help/steps would be appreciated.
On the newer Roms there are 2 apn zips that work decently .... this works well on CM I am not sure about tw

Darklords version 5 aka the note 5 one and also the s7e but no 4G but I got 3g and mms and calling. From my understanding the newer cm does not have the needed blobs for 4G/lte. I recently tried resurrection remix nothing worked (Sim and imie and meid didnt show) but I loved that rom on this phone very snappy. If you get anything working more than I did make sure to hit me up

I've been using the Darklord Reborn S7E Rom with LSS kernel 3.9 for a couple of months now. I have all data, messaging, and gps working fine. Occasionally I'll get a random reboot, but not often enough to be an issue. But yeah, I haven't been able to get data on android 7.
