[ROM][4.4][CM-11.0] For HTC One Max 809d(t6dwg) - HTC One Max

IMPORTANT: THIS PACKAGE CAN NOT BE INSTALLED ON OTHER VARIANT DIRECTLY!!! THIS PACKAGE IS FOR T6DWG
Happy new year everyone.
I am not sure I open the thread at a right place. But I'd like to share something.
I built the latest cm11 for my htc one max yesterday, and NOW it is able to run into system.
The graphics is ok, hwcomposer also runs smoothly, but no Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth, no camera, no mobile signal and etc, just a test version.
Here are some screenshots:

BTW: My phone is a China Telecom dual sim card variant(htc 809d/t6dwg), so I have no ideas that whether it will work on other variants. But since the hardware is almost the same, I think it is not a big problem. Source is here. My next plan is to get the WIFI workable.

2014/01/08:
WIFI/Bluetooth/Phone work now. Audio/Camera is broken. But I have found ways to fix the camera.

oh sorry I lost that. without source, the kernel is from stock rom. I just grab some kernel headers from htc one m7 for building the hardware library. But it is very unlikely to get the kernel soruce in our area.
BTW: if I wanna request the source from hTC, what do I need do, any suggestions @pradeepvizz?

Short of building one yourself, no. Just gotta wait on HTC to get off their ass. With Samsung we had a guy on the inside helping us out. I don't know anyone in HTC. So basically, we just wait. It sucks. But that's how it is for now.

Would be awesome to get a working Sprint variant for this!

Also, ETA on when this will arrive?

[Q] safe to install t0lte roms?

Title pretty much says it all. How different is the i605 from the t0lte? Is it safe to assume compatibility for roms/kernels? Until I hear definitively, I'll assume it is not. I know it's a different piece of hardware, but is it so different that I need to specifically seek out roms for the i605 rather than just using what I can find for the t0lte?

That's what I thought, but everywhere I look developers make a distinction between the verizon note 2 and the "regular" note 2. Cyanogenmod, for example, has separate builds for the two devices. Is that just to make guys like me feel secure? Because it in fact makes me worry more.
I know that cm tolte wont flash i tried thinking it was right and a no go so with that said..i dont really know :/
You know what, after further thought and digging. The get.cm site has two different builds (t0lte and i605). My fault. But it shouldn't be a huge problem if you accidentally flashed the t0lte build as opposed to i605.

Yeah, I forgot that t0lte and i605 are distinguished differently because of Verizon carrier specifics. But they are not far off in similarities.

with the above said can the t0lte CWM recovery be installed to make future flashes of the CM t0lte roms easier? Are the modems interchangeable as well? I care nothing about the verizon carrier/branding specifics for this i605.
Answered first Q, yes, the t0lte recoveries can be flashed and that will allow flashing of the t0lte CM roms.

so all in all, it's possible to theoretically flash a t0lte aosp (maybe?) rom or a TW rom if maybe we flash the patch? would that help at all?

I flashed the 5/6 CM10.1 earlier for the t0lte.. displays my gsm carrier now instead of "home"
okay, so not to bring a dead post back up but, is it feasible to flash a t0lte kernel to the i605 and everything work? or should I not even try this? I'm curious because there's one kernel I definitely want to run (devil kernel), used to run it on my fascinate and I loved it.
Thanks!

[MOD][5/18] - Tether and Network Mode Hack for all Carriers on AT&T Base

This is the hack that will take away the AT&T 4G icons and replace them with the HSPA style icons. Its a framework change from AT&T to International which will bypass the tether check. It will act like its an international phone instead of AT&T based giving you access to the connection type menu in connection settings.
This hack will also unlock the mobile connection type menu.
There are two types of files... De-Odex and Odex.
Odex would be for stock ROMS.
De-Odex would be almost all custom ROMS. Check with your favorite ROM Dev
Big thanks to Mike1986. for posting the De-Odex international base in which I got the file I needed to do this :good:
And of course if you make an AT&T Based ROM feel free to use these files.

Yeah, I can respect that!
Behaving like the International HTC One
I installed the deodex version on top of your CleanROM 2.0 (incredible work btw). My radio now seems to jump on and off LTE like my Dev Edtion HTC One did (on ATT) so much that I returned it for the ATT version. I fear that this will cause my battery to drain quicker. When I restore my backup, the ATT LTE signal seems to stick consistently.
I'll be travelling abroad soon, have SIM unlocked, and would love the option to turn LTE off.
Is what I'm seeing just cosmetic?
Thanks so much! and expect a beverage soon!

The change in signal is actually saving you battery. The AT&T Icons cover the change.

You can actually use either mod. But my mod is designed more for people that want the ability to change Radio Mode and its mostly for NON AT&T Customers running the AT&T firmware or an AT&T Based ROM.

Do I have this wrong... I thought this mod enabled me to use say... Verizon Wireless SIMS in this phone... I have CLEAN 2.0 and flashed this, put in a verizon sim and it doesn't work.. the options in mobile data are greyed out. I'm wrong right? It's not for that

So this should fix my tethering issue with CleanRom 2.0 on my Rogers phone then? I will run a TWRP backup, and load this fix up and give it a whirl. Thanks! :good:

I would like to confirm that I can now use tethering with my Rogers HTC One, I am located in Winnipeg (wish we could get LTE already...)
Great work Scott! :good:
Is this compatible with the CleanMod ROM?
Do I have to reboot to recovery to install this?
TIA

It will have pretty much been two years. It came out same year as M7... And once again there is zero confirmation that this is the end I'm still hearing Sense 7 is heading over eventually.
Correct but M7 has gotten 4.4.4 AND Lolliop,so now they are going back on their [email protected] it being updated,it hasnt had an official update and is on 4.4.2 shrugs....not cool imo

it never received any proper updates in the first year itself. 2 years must be a big joke, HTC better acknowledge the MAX updates.
Ok football came back with this
@LlabTooFeR hey there, do you know if we have any updates in progress/plan for the One MAX?
@PradeepVizz Haven't heard anything about this device for a while, but I'm quite sure Android L is under development.

If you're saying we're not getting lollipop that is incorrect. Already confirmed months ago. Early spring.

Not according to president of htc usa...he says there are no plans for further updates on the max. Only showing what the head of htc usa said. So if we do get it cool...i dont think its misinforming anything.

I've spoken to HTC as well they say it is coming in their no specific answer formula I've seen Q3 at the earliest but I'd be guessing more around December. My conversation was about the Verizon model though. Maybe we can get a nice port from the m8 or m7 lollipop soon

On their own updates website it shows the one max on sprint as in development for lolipop update...
Sent from my HTC0P3P7 using XDA Free mobile app
Yeah I'm 95% sure they are working on it with hopefully a summer/fall release
Although it should get it before or the same time as the m7 same internals and newer than the m7

I was told end of march from my contacts, then jasonmac said that so who knows..all I wanted to do was make folks aware that there may not be any more updates...more people speak [email protected] post by him maybe can get a straight answer...
As i posted only posting as an awareness thing...more people question it to him maybe he'll give a corrected yes or no answer. Dont shoot the messenger...

I don't see a reason they wouldn't update it
Lollipop on my m8 isn't that big of a deal but I would like to have it on my max there is a reason I use the max over the m8 so might as well get lollipop I hold no hope for sense 7 though
