I believe its the GPS/Location icon. There is another thread below asking how to remove/hide it.

Why is it showing if GPS is not engaged?

With "Access to my location" on, the icon will have the three curved lines on the right. It doesnt matter which selection you have on under "Location sources".

I wasn't used to seeing that on my N2 because I did the plist edit to remove it. Forgot myself what it was. There are too many things up there on this device. The smart screen eye icon should go on and off when it sees you instead of staying up there and blinking.

Standard devices have GPS icons only on if GPS is *in use*...

LastPass icon suddenly keeps appearing?

Hi.
I've been using LastPass and the fill in helper for ages now.
Just the other day it has started sowing it's logo in the notification tray but at times when there aren't even log ins for it to fill in.
Any ideas why or how to get rid?

I do not have it yet but it seems you are running a newer version.
Go to Settings > App > Lastpass and uncheck the notification icon.
Unchecking the notification option in Settings will guarantee that you'll never see it again, even when you need it. Careful.

Did you find an option to uncheck in the settings? I'm still on the old version...
Yes, there's quite a few fill helper settings and you can disable. I wouldn't mind if it was there at the right times but often it's not is won't be there when you do want it!

Notification content privacy

All my notifications show their content without having to go into the app first. I've tried all sorts of settings but nothing seems to work. Please help.
The setting is buried deeper than King Arthurs sword, but what you'll want to do is search for "notification" in settings, tap on "Notifications Management" under Other, and then the menu in the top left will have lockscreen notification settings.

I have it working on the lock screen, I was referring to when you get a notification on the top status bar and you pull down, the content is there for all to see, complete emails etc.

I'm not sure that's possible, did you have a previous phone that could do that?

Does anyone know how to disable these alerts?

I've been getting these odd alerts when I get texts, but not always. I can't seem to find a setting to disable them as I don't want to disable regular alerts, just these weird small ones.
They are in the image at the top of the screen and I've added arrows to point to it.
Thank you!

So I'm not sure how to share an image here, it asked me to use a URL but typically you can just upload an image, am I doing something wrong?

Seems like you have hotspot on, or something like it. If you do, just go to settings ,and then the connection/internet tab. Should be somewhere in there.
I do indeed I have it set up on macrodroid as a tasker to automatically turn on when I am in my car.
Problem is that this notification stalls the change from wifi to hotspot.

I don't know much about macros since I don't use that sort of stuff. I tried searching around on the internet, but I can't really seem to find anything. You might be a unique case, it seems. That aside, maybe something from below will help you arrive at a solution?
