Looking for someone with a working build environment - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello xda folks,
some months ago I got myself an i9300 and as a tech geek, one of the first things I did was installing a custom ROM. Since then I've been trying various ROMs and meanwhile I'm somewhat addicted to CM based / AOSP and AOKP ROMs.
The ROM that best fits my demands is LiquidSmooth (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2264782). However, I don't want to use my device without OpenPDroid (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2098156) installed on it.
There's a tool called AutoPatcher (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2098156), unfortunately it is only working for a few ROMs, for LiquidSmooth, it isn't. That's why I've got the following concern.
I'm looking for someone who is running a working build environment and is willing to build LiquidSmooth with integrated OpenPDroid from source for me. I do not have the knowledge to set up such an environment by myself, so hopefully, there's a helping hand somewhere across these forums.
Thank you guys!

A reply after TWO minutes!? Awesome, thank you!
Okay, so what do you need?
(I am not able to post outside links yet, so sorry for the scrambling...)
If I get it right, the source for LiquidSmooth is available here: github[dot]com/LiquidSmooth
According to the LS thread, the kernel used is: github[dot]com/CyanogenMod/android_kernel_samsung_smdk4412
And the OpenPDroid patches are available here: github[dot]com/OpenPDroid/OpenPDroidPatches
The compiled ROM can be downloaded here: goo[dot]im/devs/liquidsmooth/
The server is awfully slow and at this very moment, not available at all, so if needed, I'm going to upload the .zip to my webspace. It is 120 MiB in size.
Thank you so much Wolf80 for your offer!

Slightly Newer Slimbean Build 4 YP-G70

I was sifting through some files on my player and I found a Slimbean build that's slightly newer than the one in the dev forum so I thought I'd post it here...
So here is Slimbean 4.2.2 build 8.1 for Player 5.0:
http://www.4shared.com/zip/24rAUJd-/Slim-422build81-UNOFFICIAL-201.html
Refer to http://slimroms.net/ for installation instructions and gapps..
It should work but, I built it back in August, and as far as I know it didn't have any issues beyond the normal 4.2.2 issues.
Also, if there is any interest, I could probably build a newer Slimbean. So if that's something that is wanted, post here...
Here's my vote
I would look forward to newer Slimbean Rom's, and would provide feedback about newer versions you may develop. I haven't tried the one you posted, but if it would be helpful to you, I surely will. Thanks for your efforts here !!

Nah, I just put it up in case anyone wanted it. If there is more interest in Slimbean, I'll do some builds but, if nobody wants it then I'm not going to bother.
i'd love to see new slimbean for 5.0.
I noticed that the 4.0 already has kitkat, should we expect to get kitkat to 5.0 shortly?

I've looked into it a little and from what I can tell, making MIUI is very different then building android. It seems like it's kinda patched together using reverse engineered smali code.

Lack of knowledge can be resolved by "reading", "learning", "comprehending", and "asking"
Lack of experience can be resolved by "trying","failing","retrying", and eventually "succeeding"
Lack of time can be resolved by "making time" or "taking time"
Just sayin'

Gapps question
Thanks so much for bringing Slimbean 4.3 to our device !! Slimbean is my daily driver, and it's great to see development for our device continue.
Apologies in advance for my ignorance: Which is the correct gapps category/file to use for this ROM and our device? Would it be i9100? or Crespo? or ??? I'm clueless...

Cm posts all their kernel source. Slim roms require a custom kernel. I build slim for a few devices and cm kernels seldom work so without the kernel source for the device it may not be an option.

download the caf kernel sources (can't remember which tag. 3.5.2.2?), map the kernel source from the device config as usual.
then make bootimage (which will install the headers),
finally, remove the configs for source built kernel, and map the dt image and zImage
the compiling is making it further and further...hopefully it won't break

LET'S GO!

Please close [ROM][LMY47V][5.1.1][hammerhead][04.30.2015]CM 12.1 Unofficial Nightlies

New nightly unofficial builds of CM 12.1 for Nexus 5 (hammerhead). These are built straight from Cyanogenmod's repository at https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android/tree/cm-12.1. There are no modifications, or cherry picks from other related repositories. This is just a straight up, pure Cyanogenmod build for Nexus 5 hammerhead, NOT CAF, that I am privately building for my own use, and sharing with other users until the official builds start rolling out. I am not a developer. I am just a user who likes to flash a nightly update every day, if possible. For tutorials on how to install the rom or questions, I suggest using the OP in this excellent thread: [ROM] [LMY47I] [5.1] CM12.1 Unofficial w/ Xtra Cherries-Hammerhead Nexus 5 by mo976.
As far as answering questions, I may jump in from time to time, but I'll leave it mostly to those visiting the thread. Again, I merely made a place to share the cm rom I am just compiling from source.

thank you for the new build and hope it is not so slow like before
First of all, thanks! Second: what about MultiROM?
GPS question
First off, thank you to the OP. The consistent nightly builds are much appreciated!
Second, has anyone had issues with their GPS on cm12.1? Mine will lock on and be fine for a few minutes, then it loses GPS signal for a few minutes, then locks, then loses, repeat.
Wondering if it is just me or not...
have not noticed any issues with my GPS; don't know anything about multi-rom
hit the thanks button if you can rather than posting a thanks (it is appreciated, though )
Can anyone open the calculator? On 0416 and it just force closes. Going to try upgrading in a bit. Sorry about not asking in the dedicated thread. Didn't notice until after posting.

[ROM][5.1.1][BETA] Unofficial CyanogenMod 12.1

CyanogenMod 12.1 for OnePlus 2
This is CyanogenMod 12.1 for the OnePlus 2.
Previously i was using @Grarak build, but later i compiled by my own.
This build is built directly from the CyanogenMod source code with absolutely no changes to it.
This is currently in Alpha/Beta so it may(definitely?) not have all of the OnePlus 2 and/or CyanogenMod features implemented.
I will do my best and try to upload nightly builds.
This build dosent have swap buttons and notification slider settings.
looking a way to integrating it. if you know then please tell me.

Will be looking forward how this development shapes up
Good to see that many devs are trying hard to get a fully working cm on our opt
Thanks
Are you working to help develop this ir are you simply building from source? If you're building from source, having nightlies is honestly useless. You only need to make a new build when new code is added! ;p
Thanks for the builds though!
If this are just builds from official source without any changes, is a repeated thread from http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-1-built-official-t3266566
But if you gonna make changes on it, it's ok. Good luck!
Wow. Nice to see too many developers digging in
Thank you so much. Will test.

Can you try building AOSP on Lollipop? Thank you so much. Because we already have CyanogenMod.

[DISCUSSION][AOSP] Let's build!

Ok, first i had done this for cm13, let's see what I can do for AOSP! Lulz. Think my earlier thread for cm13 created too much of hype and development restarted (joy++)
So, First of all, i haven't built AOSP as of yet for op2, will do it. If anyone can get the recovery working, or any progress, report here.
If we have AOSP caf tree, we will be able to port UBUNTU TOUCH, and many other ROMs based of aosp directly.
So here we go!

sure of course you can i already did it while cyanogenmod 13 was not yet booting.. the only thing is that you will have to modify tons of things into the device tree and tons of things into the aosp code to make hardware to work.. the only things that will work without modifications will be wifi and bluetooth.. maybe audio too but i'm not sure about that
