Hello! Recently I bought the new Sony Xperia U (ST25i) unlocked to all networks. But in a travel to Angola when inserted the SIM card the phone ask for a PIN code to onlock network. There is possible to a phone be unlocked to any carrier in European space and locked to another carrier in Africa?

I just bought this phone from Pixmania-Pro with another one Xperia S with no lock. The Xperia U works fine with another SIM card from another carrier. But the SIM card's that I try are from Portuguese carriers (Vodafone and TMN) but when I insert the Angola's SIM card the Phone ask's for a SIM lock network PIN.
I see that Sprint will sim unlock a US phone to use with an overseas sim card.
My LG G3 is rooted and I'm going to Mexico next week and would like to use my phone with a pre-paid sim card I would purchase in Mexico. Will / can Sprint sim unlock my phone if it is rooted?

As long as it has stock or stock based ROM on it, root doesnt matter with Sprint.
I tried to use Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 (model: sm-g316ml) with the new sim card. The device asked me to provide the sim network unlock pin. I contacted the mobile operator (Claro Chile), but they claim that the device should be unlocked by the manufacturer. Can anyone help me to retrieve this pin to unlock the phone, please?
