What is a CID?
CID lock (aka vendor lock): Carrier Id - put on your device by the manufacturer to prevent installation of a ROM not released by them. Commonly used in the form `CID-Unlocking`. If you purchase your phone (example) from 3Mobile (3Mobile is the ‘carrier’), your phone will only accept 3Mobile ROMs (the carrier’s ROMs). If you want to flash ROMs from other carrier, you’ll need to CID-unlock your phone, so that your phone will accept other ROMs. All bootloaders (apart from HardSPL and SSPL) will only allow a ROM with the correct CID to be flashed onto the device. A device which has been CID unlocked will have ‘SuperCID’ which allows ANY ROM to be loaded onto the device, SuperCID also unlocks the Ext_ROM and allows it to be mounted. Note: In general, the phrase ‘unlock your phone’ usually refers to SIM-unlock, not CID unlock.
What is Super CID?
SuperCID : by CID unlocking your device the value of the CID is changed to SuperCID . This allows the flashing of ANY ROM/RUU to the device regardless of the carrier and also unlocks the read/write capability of the Ext_ROM.
How to use the script?

one more for future use

thanks a lot, Im downloading now, finished, that was awesome,
Edit all that's missing is to change the splash screen to a black htc...

Bloody marvelous. Worked like a champ!

So I Finally Came Around and Rooted My One... So Happy I Did.
I Have A Question... Can This Performed On a Mac? If So May I Please Have Some Guidance In Doing So? :fingers-crossed:

If you have adb on the mac, just open the script in a text editor and copy the commands I put I there. It's all the same.
Stroked from my Dirty Nocturnal'd HTC M7

Fast boot Method... Much Easier.

Once S-Off why can't we just goto bootloader and do a "fastboot oem writecid 11111111"? that's what others are reporting in the revone thread.

That's what I did. No issues flashing the latest firmware with just the fastboot oem command.
I wouldn't mess around with hex editing.

Bumping this query. Still down.

Here is how you do it, you don't need a script.
reboot into your bootloader with key combo, adb or app from the market
use fastboot to set the cid
fastboot oem writecid 11111111

Can someone who has downloaded the script for S-Off PM me so i can get the file.
Also has anybody confirmed if this will work with the .11 software that was pushed out at the end of July.
Ive read elsewhere that most of the s-off scripts only work with .8 software..
Thanks

Nope because the servers died and X has been to busy with work and other stuff, but I'll upload it later and get you a link if you still need it.
Edit: Ok any looking for This just go to my 1.27.531.11 thread and check 2nd post all credit goes to Xsmagical.
Team-Noctural.com is on its way to being back up and running just having to get the new software. Be ready

Can someone please explain why one would do this instead of going to HTCDEV.com and getting the unlock token from the site? Is what we are talking about in this thread different from that?

[RES] HTC Fuze ONLY - Flash Stock SPL & ROM to Restore for Warranty Purposes

This thread is to answer the popular question of:
"How can I get my Fuze back to stock and be able to return it for warranty service?"
I've been able to find very convoluted instructions and containing unnecessary manual effort for no reason. I returned phones to AT&T and HTC w/o any problems and I learned the shortest method of complying with the expectations involved. The thread will contain pictures of boot-screens pertaining to the process so that people can use them for reference. There will also be pictures of the progress and the different variations of devices out there.
This is for AT&T Fuze ONLY. The concept, however, can be used on any HTC Touch Pro (GSM and probably CDMA) as long as you get the correct Stock ROM from the Stock ROM Wiki.
You only need to do this if you have HardSPL already on your device.
To get to the canary screen / flashing screen (instruction for Fuze press and hold power and volume-down then press the small reset button on the right of the charging hole).
OliNex 1.90 HardSPL will refer to OliNex HardSPL for GSM Raphael devices.
OliNex 1.90 Stock Warranty SPL will refer to software also obtained from the same thread as above.
Screenshots below show RAPH110 and RAPH*** - there is no difference, so don't concentrate on that.
If your phone is Security Unlocked and you feel that you need to lock it back up (optional), please look at the procedures in post #2. However, I feel that AT&T and HTC will not care if it's security locked or unlocked, the screenshots below with the unlocked verbiage is actually a replacement that AT&T sent to me already Security and SIM unlocked.
Tri-color RUU bootloader refers to the colorful screen seen when the device is booted into flashing mode. This is accessed by holding down the Power Button with the Volume-Down Button and pressing the reset button. Reset button is located next to the charger hole. A screen showing the RUU boot screen like below will come up.
For the AT&T "World Phone" boot splash screen, see this post, but splash screen should come with an AT&T ROM applied in the step #5 below.
YOU WANT YOUR DEVICE TO END UP JUST LIKE ONE OF THESE SCREENSHOTS BELOW.

}
YOU ONLY NEED THESE INSTRUCTIONS IF YOU HAVE THE HARDSPL
LIKE PICTURED BELOW, OTHERWISE YOU'RE WASTING YOUR TIME.
Some Explanation:
The concern is the fact that my Fuze came stock with 1.95 SPL, not 1.90 that OliNex provides, so to return my device with 1.90 SPL was a problem for me. I am including OliNex's 1.90 Warranty SPL which I hex-edited to show 1.95 instead. The reason why I did that is in case the person forgets or screws up on flashing the stock 1.95 ROM as noted in the last step of the instructions below.
OliNex's HardSPL does not allow any SPL to overwrite it. This is the reason why you need to flash the Warranty SPL, to overwrite that write-protected HardSPL. There is something special about that OliNex Warranty SPL because it's the only UNSIGNED SPL that seems to be able to overwrite the HardSPL. When I tried to apply any of my extracted SPL's (repository here) it would not work, like the author mentions in large and bold edit and had a Moderator close his thread. However, once you're at step #4, you can then flash only a full Stock Signed ROM (original HTC basically) from step #5 or any other Stock ROM (full list). Whatever SPL is included in that Stock ROM from step #5, will actually overwrite the Warranty SPL applied in step #4. Just an SPL extract/dump cannot be applied to the device because they are not signed. It also cannot be done when the HardSPL is present because the HardSPL does not allow overwriting of itself.
Steps to return the Fuze back to STOCK:
Unzip the attachment called JZ_Fuze_WarrantySPL_1.95.zip to a new folder.
Run the EXE file to flash OliNex's 1.90 Warranty SPL. I hacked his file to say 1.95 (if HardSPL is NOT present on your device expect the flashing process to stop at zero percent w/o any progress, and ask yourself did I read bullet 2 at the very top!)
Get to the tri-colored boot screen by holding power+volumeDown+reset to verify that you see 1.95... you're not done. It should look like this... (NOTICE: THE LAST TWO LINES ARE MISSING WHEN COMPARED TO THE VERY FIRST SCREENSHOTS AT THE TOP)
Not done yet if your tri-color boot screen looks like this:
At this point, you're ready to flash the AT&T Stock 1.95 ROM which can be downloaded from here or here. If this is done correctly you should see the same tri-color boot screen as in the very first screenshot on top.
Props go out to: Olipro, Cmonex and mskip - thanks for the software and the insightful info!
Thanks!
JZ
Security and SIM Locked Info...
If your phone is Security or SIM Unlocked and you feel that you need to lock it back up, below is some info. However, I feel that AT&T and HTC will not care if it's security locked or unlocked, the screenshots below with the unlocked verbiage is actually a replacement that AT&T sent to me already Security and SIM unlocked.
SIM Unlocked: Allows you to use SIM's from another carrier. Can be done using codes or unlocker programs on xda-devs.
Security Unlocked: Allows you to flash radios from another device (i.e. Blackstone or Diamond) - It does other stuff, but this is all the casual user will use it for.
To check if your phone is SIM or Security Locked you need ATCommander. Below are the commands for ATCommander to check the status of those two things.
[email protected]?40 --- tells you if you are SIM Locked (all zero's is unlocked)
[email protected]?AA --- tells you if you are Security Locked (all zero's is unlocked or here)
1) Reset Call Timers to zeros (optional and needed!) AT command: [email protected]=270f,270f
2) SIM relock is not needed for Warranty Service, per Olipro.
3) Relock Security last with Secrelock.zip by running the EXE on the device. Or AT command to Security Lock: [email protected]=7,1
To SIM unlock your phone for FREE, call AT&T and say that you're traveling abroad and need your phone to work with another SIM chip, they will give you an unlock code!!! It will not look like the one pictured at the top of this thread, on the right, which says "Security Unlocked", but it will be SIM Unlocked. Keep in mind that a ROM can change your IMEI by the last two digits causing the need for a new unlock code from AT&T.

Once I explain a bit more, I think your need for a hacked SPL will disappear.
Basically, apply either my attached zip on post #1 or use the Warranty SPL from OliNex... this brings you to a level where you can just apply a STOCK ROM (which includes the SPL) and whatever SPL is on that ROM will overwrite the warranty SPL... simply use a ROM that has that 1.69 SPL version and apply it to your device.

would that be like the one I created but has not yet been tested?? As there is no dutch factory T-Mobile rom available other than reconstructed ones that only have OS.nb.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=504570
If so I am going to flash the thing and see what happens with radio and splash.
Great, keep it up!

Interesting method of mixing different ROM pieces, a little on the desperate side but I've done lots of desperate things with NBHtool.
The problem is the key-word that you see at the top of this thread, your ROM is not "SIGNED" which means that your ROM might not be able to be applied to the device at all.

Thanx m8 , that is the feedback I needed and was asking for. I will take the spl out and try to flash and see what happens.
It is not that I am on the desperate side, I just want to get this over with and be prepared once I am desperate, which hopefully doesn't happen for a while anymore
EDIT: I took out SPL, splash and radio and it allows me to flash ! using the czech stuff, Flashing as we speak...
Finished in czech:

I have to point out that what you just discribed is not security unlocked... but SIM unlocked. There is a difference. SIM unlocked (which is what you are describing) is where you can put in another carriers SIM card and still use your phone with 100% functionality. Security unlocked is when you can put another carriers radio on.
Just dont want people to get confused.

Got it, thanks for clearing it up, I will correct it. Learn something new every day
Questions though:
SIM Unlock is something that you need a "code" for from the phone vendor another carrier's SIM can now be used, correct?
Security Unlock will allow you to flash another device's radio?
HardSPL allows you to flash a non-signed OS, Radio & Splash? Or just a non-standard Radio (from another device)?
Security unlocking is achieved how? HardSPL? So, security unlock=hardspl/softspl?
OliPro used Security/SIM/CID unlock in this thread title, do all three mean the same thing? Or will OliPro send a different activation code for each feature?
secrelock.zip that I reference in the first post is to re-lock the Security Unlock? Or SIM unlock?
On my first screenshot, top-most phone pictures (on the right) says "Security Unlocked" and I received it this way from AT&T warranty, which feature is unlocked on the device, Security or SIM? Seems odd that AT&T would send me a phone that I can flash any ROM to... (it does say security unlocked after all)
Anybody that knows please speak up, this is interesting stuff.
Thanks!
JZ
EDIT: per these posts (post1, post2, post3, post4) I definitely learned that SIM unlock is different from Security Unlocked. Two different commands in ATCommander:
[email protected]?40 --- tells you if you are SIM Locked (all zero's is unlocked)
[email protected]?AA --- tells you if you are Security Locked (all zero's is unlocked)
The phone that I have in the screenshot (with the white "Security Unlocked" verbiage) shows that I'm both SIM & Security UNLOCKED... the phone w/o that white band shows 1's for both settings so it's actually locked yet I do have a OliPro's HardSPL on it. I wonder if the white band is available on older devices.

Here are some answers that I got from DaveShaw. He answers most of my questions. The only left-over question is secrelock.zip will lock both SIM and Security or just Security?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3225507#post3225507
SIM: Allows you to use SIM's from another carrier. Can be done using codes or unlocker programs on xda-devs.
Security: Allows you to flash radios from another device (i.e. Raphael) - It does other stuff, but this is all the casual user will use it for
CID: CID unlocking is an old concept, nowadays you flash Hard SPL instead. This lets you flash any ROM, Splash or Radio (depending on sec unlock) to your device. N.B. the CID is the carrier ID (e.g. HTC__001). The stock SPL's only let you flash ROM's that match the CID in the ROM image with the CID on your device.
Also, SuperCID is an even older concept no longer valid on newer devices.

This kinda stuff is not easy to troubleshoot remotely so I'll give you some pointers... take a picture of your bootloader so I can have a look. Also take a screenshot of the error you get (if on the computer) use print-screen key and paste into mspaint or MSWord...
From the sound of it, you do not have a HardSPL so you're trying to reverse something that you probably don't have activated.
Thank you for the guide.
I just flashed back to stock spl / os.
I have one concern, the screenshot from the Att fuze show Raph*** in the tri-color boot screen, mine however shows Raph110. Is that acceptable for a warranty exchange?
Thanks in advance!

[Q&A] Team Infernal FakeCid AUTOMATIC bootloader unlock

Q&A for Team Infernal FakeCid AUTOMATIC bootloader unlock
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.
Before posting, please use the forum search and read through the discussion thread for Team Infernal FakeCid AUTOMATIC bootloader unlock. If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.
Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!
FakeCID Automatic Unlock Failed
Here's a screenshot. I don't know if the failure to write the files to the SD card caused the failure. Did I miss anything on setting this up? I exited the script rather than do a factory reset. I saw the note about doing a factory reset and then trying again, but if this is related to the file write failure, I'd rather not reset the phone and have to set it all back up again.

I assume you're working on getting s-off. Working from that I expect you have the most recent update from almost a year ago. If you do then this thread should get you to where you want to go.

No. I am working on unlocking the bootloader so I can install a custom recovery. Hence the thread title. Is S-Off a requirement to unlocking the boot loader? I didn't see anything that says it is.
S-off makes installing ROMs easier because you don't need to extract the boot.IMG each time. S-off gives you more options but opens you up to a little more risk of you mess up. Read a bit more on the differences between an unlocked bootloader and s-off. If I can find a few links I'll as then tomorrow to help you out.

Thanks. I have done some reading and I am reasonably familiar with S-OFF. I think my problem is that I need to factory reset the phone before I try the bootloader unlock. The HTCDev site doesn't support this phone for a bootloader unlock. I'm not quite ready to do a factory reset yet so I will wait a bit longer.
Installing a custom ROM will require a factory reset, so when you're ready for that go for it. An app like this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.backup makes the transition much easier.
Ok I believe I know why the unlock is failing. My sdcard for some reason is getting mounted as read only, or at least the script thinks it is.
This is from the script:
Code:
db shell "dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p4 of=/sdcard/mmcblk0p4"
and line that tries to dump the mcblk0p4 file to the sdcard to pull it to the PC fails. I thought that the error I was getting was related to backups. this page:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1986346
says that you need to remove mmcblk0p4 from the directory if you run the script multiple times.
So it appears that after the 'adb restore fakebackup.ab' command is run, at least on this phone the sdcard is mounted as read-only. Is there a way around this? can adb push/pull the file from phone storage directly to and from my PC if I want to edit the file manually?
Or, does anybody have a backed up modified file for this phone that they can send me? I am stuck at dumping the file to the sdcard so that I can modify it, but I think I can push a modified file to the phone so that I can then go to HTCDev to get it unlocked
An update. I followed the manual steps and was able to get the file with the CID in it off the phone. I edited it as per the directions, then pushed it back to the phone and used dd to push it back to /dev/block however after I rebooted the phone and did the readcid command, it still has the stock Verizon CID. Any help?
One last update, I tried both the manual method and the automatied script after factory resetting the phone. That did not work either. Any suggestions? I'd really like to get this phone rooted if I can. If it helps or matters, my phone device type starts with an FA, not the HT that the script calls out.
The script works up to the point that I run the dd command to write the modified file back to /block. The dd command works, but checking the OEMCID it is still the Verizon CID. Do I need to S_OFF the phone first? I didn't think that was related to this.

After reading the thread, I am not sure why you wouldn't just go with s-off instead of only unlocking the bootloader. Yes, there's more risk in having an s-off phone, but it does make life much easier overall. However, If you are able to s-off the phone, you're done - no need to further work on unlocking the bootloader because the phone is fully unlocked (and it will stay that way unless you explicitly lock it). It also seems as though the s-off methods are now more tried and true for this phone versus just unlocking the bootloader.
Instead of continuing to struggle to just unlock the bootloader, you may try just going full out s-off. Just back up what you can - contacts to Google Contacts, USB cable to pull off your files/music/whatever to your PC, etc. then go for it. Make sure you are using the s-off method that matches your phone's current version.
Good luck!

thanks for confirming that. I misunderstood what S_OFF did, else I might have done it sooner. I did not realize that it also unlocks the phone as a whole. I thought it gave access to the radios, etc which I wasn't necessarily interested in.

Yep. S-Off is the full unlock. Once achieved, you can do whatever you want to the phone, including updating the radio (be very careful!), install a custom recovery, install a new kernel (from the SD card), install full ROMs without needing to push anything separately, mess with partitions, etc. IMHO it is the best way to go, but just be careful after achieving s-off, one wrong keystroke or click while connected to your PC, you can very easily make yourself an expensive paper weight.
Also, if you are installing custom ROMs, on this phone it does make a difference which recovery is installed. ViperLTE will not install properly with a CWM variant, but installs just fine with TWRP.
Success!!! many thanks to wmuflyer for pointing me to rumrunner for S_OFF. the phone is now S_OFF and the bootloader is unlocked. thanks for all the suggestions.
Congratulations. Now the fun begins. And remember you can always use the thanks button.

Hi everyone, my phone is s-off but locked bootloader how can I unlock it?

[Q] unlocking bootloader on 1.xx

After two days of searching I'm sucking it up and just asking you guys...
I have s-off but my bootloader is locked. I tried the one click superCID method and it outputs 111111 but its still locked when I try to flash a recovery.
I tried to use rumrunner even though its 2.xx because it worked for someone else and it said I needed root first...
My phone won't bug me to update OTA to get to 2.xx but think that might be a good thing... please help. My ultimate goal is to flash NuSenseSix
Day 3 still no luck...
I've tried the SuperCID method found on this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36976137#post36976137
- problem is the file that is linked is CID 1 and not CID-2.apk So I am outputting 11111 instead of 222222 which doesn't work on HTC Dev. Anyone have the updated supercid file? *this thread is locked so you can't ask for help there*
I've also tried this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2011611
Except for all of the mirrors are either missing or from corrupted websites
You do not state your software version, I suggest you try Sunshine. It may or may not work.

If you are s off you can unlock using an adb command. Also, you need an ruu mode twrp.
I can help you flash a custom recovery and update your firmware using team viewer

Are there any updates on this?
Can you unlock the bootloader on the sprint/boost variant? If so we can make a TWRP recovery for it and flash magisk for root

Yeah you can unlock the bootloader. All you need to do is go to dev options and enable OEM unlock. I was wondering if there's any cross compatibility between LG software and if it's at all possible to root it using a TWRP recovery intended for a similar phone. I don't want to try it on my new phone yet though considering the risky nature of rooting.

That's not all you need to do. Once you flip the oem unlock switch you then need to reboot to the bootloader and run the appropriate command--THEN you will really see if your bootloader can be unlocked. I don't know the command off hand but a google search should say what it needs to be
And as far as your other question, yes it is possible to use twrp for a similar phone. However it doesn't look like there is a similar phone with a similar chipset like this that has twrp already but I could be wrong. Note that cross compatibility like this is only for custom firmware like twrp, stock firmware IS NOT CROSS COMPATIBLE.

You're right there's more, I wasn't familiar with how bootloaders were unlocked until you mentioned that. After some research, unfortunately, LG has pretty much nailed tight the bootloader for all but a select few LG devices. Still, I followed a guide on how to use ADB and Fastboot in an attempt to reboot into bootloader, but sadly all it does is restart the phone normally. As far as I know, it's impossible to unlock the bootloader on this phone so I guess we're all SOL when it comes to rooting.

Try the process anyway. My friend said he managed to unlock it on a device that wasn't listed but that was a while ago. If there's something where you put in a serial number or IMEI see if it'll take yours

So far I've tried booting to bootloader through recovery mode and ADB, both ending up booting to the system normally. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "something where you put in a serial number or IMEI." Is there any way you can find out how your friend managed to do this?

For some LG phones there's a process you have to go through on their website to request an "unlocking binary". I believe its something like Motorola's bootloader unlock program. You put in some phone specific info (s/n, IMEI, or something) and if its eligible to be unlocked LG will send you an unlocking binary. Then once you get the binary there's some sort of special fastboot command you have to enter, utilizing that binary, to open up your bootloader
I haven't done this myself so I don't 100% know the process, but this is what I've heard other people discussing in the past. I'll reach out to people and see if I can find the site again

First off, I appreciate you taking the time to help me out. I found what you're talking about, but it's specific to only a few devices and LG SP200 isn't one of the models listed. Also, in order to get the device ID, you first need to enter fastboot mode, which I can't get to work.

I think they skipped over the "Unlock OEM" in the developer settings. The device is a mcv150 close to the cv1. Search up LG Aristo 2 TWRP and see if the TWRP flashes to your device. If it works then I can fix the device specific bugs.
It appears that no one has replied to this thread in almost 3 years (as of this post). To resurrect this thread, I have quite a couple of things about this device to say:
I don't think accessing the bootloader is possible for whatever reason. I've tried rebooting into the bootloader (with "Enable OEM Unlock" enabled) through adb reboot bootloader but to no avail.
Root is possible. The Tribute Dynasty (SP200) contains a MediaTek MT6750 SoC. Combined with the last security patch being November 1, 2019 (an interesting coincidence), this makes this device vulnerable to the mtk-su temporary root exploit.
I remember following a guide somewhere else on XDA, but I can't recall which guide (nor can I find it right now). I remember using mtk-easy-su for this purpose, but then that's all I can remember.
There might be some other developments with this phone that I might know about, but all of this I find from experience.

This no longer works, the links are dead. there is no information on which version of deep testing you have to have as they are all version specific for each phone so you can all ignore this and if anyone has a RECENTLY tried and tested method that works post it here. If its old and no longer functiining like this guide here, do not post it as it does ot work....

yes this has worked for me for years to get oem unlocked. type in PowerShell:
adb shell pm disable-user com.qualcomm.qti.uim
oem toggle will not be greyed out after or you can use this one+ tool to get oem unlock https://1drv.ms/u/s!AqDQuxOzB8wghvoaD02pqZRbUL4eXw
once u type that command in turn oem unlock on in developer options and USB debugging.just in case u haven't yet u need to tap build version under about phone 7x to unhide that menu. make sure you have a backup of your device including firmware for your specific device in case issues and so you can extract your boot img to patch with magisk, also if custom recovery is available for the device might want to find and USB adb drivers then open power shell in windows and type adb reboot bootloader to get into fastboot. once in fastboot type ./fastboot oem unlock. should with no issues a pop-up on device stating if you want bootloader unlock device has to be factory reset. accept and your device will reset and reboot then to get root once booted to welcome screen just hit skip to get through setup just in case something happens your going to have to do it all over. you can fully setup later. once on home screen download magisk from GitHub only and install open it after installed and on main screen your gonna want to patch your boot img you got from firmware extraction and patch with magisk. I believe file will be in downloads folder then send that to Windows adb folder and reboot to fastboot again then type ./fastboot flash boot (magisk-patched file).img and now your rooted and restart
just found this as well. claims to have almost 100% success https://optool.daxiaamu.com/wiki_pctool. has support for all one+ devices

Bro just use the Tmobile portal through oneplus there is a thread with the link on this forum.
yes sir it has worked on nord n10, n100 , and op 9 without getting the unlock bin. the adb she'll command allows the OEM toggle to be ungreyed then type ur unlock bootloader commands but make sure u have dev potions enabled and you are on your home screen beforehand. also make sure your device is connected to the internet. I've heard that I won't work if not. I haven't had any problems with it though. there is also an option in the OnePlus tool to allow oem unlock to be toggled as well and it all should work without network unlock or the unlock.bin
Does anyone actually try to use the link or are we all just copy and pasting. The links do not work.....if anyone has a good working link. That you have TRIED first... please post it here.
On another note, have any Devs seen the information I posted about bootloader hacking. My technical skills are more suited to fixing cars but I did accidently stumble upon how some group made a tool and complete instructions to unlock any and all bootloaders wether its on phones, computers, or basicly any electronic device. There was a lot of information there but it's beyond my scope of being able to implement. A person with the right background can probably read it and have the ability to hack a great many things afterwords. It went over hacking Tv's, video game consoles, phones, industrial control, computers, systems ect.... they claim with the knowledge they posted and the tool they invented that ALL bootloaders can now be circumvented.
