SIMPLE TIPS AND INFORMATION FOUND IN DIFFERENT THREADS:
1. If you want to overclock, devs says its impossible
2. Flashing is not a game so always make sure to reset your flash counter to "no" or "0" if your warranty is still up
3. Flashing root.zip on CWM6 will not increase flash counter
4. If you want 624mb ram first flash MB2/MB4 with a pit file and tick re-partition
5. Most 3rd party battery saver apps will not help mainly because the same app also uses power

My suggestion is, because there are couple GB rom ports with buggs etc is to add a green (Good) for the roms that run bug-free for exaple:

Actually I plan it just like what you have said (in the upper section of the thread) yes this will be a bloody thread indeed by I'm an ACE 2 user which like to be updated so no problem for to update those. but please be patient and give me time because it will consume too much time to perfect this thread (REASON IS READING READING AND MORE READING TO SPECIFY EVERY DETAIL) My inspiration is the "all about jellybean" thread which have been abandoned.

Yes! But Zip flash only work on GingerBread if you want flash on JellyBean can edit updater-script but i don't know it can give you brick phone.
If want easy you can using Trialgel Away (2.65 or higher because support for our devices) It very easy but i only test on Gingerbread and Using GT - I8160

What OS your phone running? Jelly Bean or GingerBread!
If Jelly bean i think you type that code(i don't know it work or not) and on GingerBread can using Triagle Away or using zip flashable is safety and can work 100% i think

The ROM has 3 Editions, we use Abbreviations to make it easier to type about.
Another Thing is that our ROM version is counted using Roman Numbers (e.g. I, II, III, IV, V..)
Now let's get to the abbreviations:
* Simplistic PS: Pure Stock
* Simplistic LE: Lite Edition
* Simplistic SD: Stock Disaster
So what do these editions mean, what does each edition offer? Let's look at a simple feature comparison chart.

You may ask yourself about Simplistic ROM Control.
Well basically if you know AOKP ROM Control then you'll be familiar with it. Porting these features wasn't as easy as you think, and there is some features coded by me.
Simplistic Control is found inside the settings of both SD and LE Simplistics, pushed with a nice Icon to match settings.
Of course with time we will be able to get more features working, and even code features. So everything you see inside the Control APP works.
The ROM installation involves the same procedure that all ROMs use.
Important: Simplistic PS and LE are NON-WIPE
while Simplistic SD is A WIPE version.
To install the ROMs (applies to all editions):
*Download the Zip, don't extract it.
*Move the zip to the internal sdcard of your phone
*(Root Required) reboot into ClockWorkMod Recovery (CWM)
*Use volume buttons and home or power button to navigate. Choose Install Zip from sdcard.
* Then, Choose zip from internal sdcard. Navigate to the ROM desired, and select it.
*Highlight "YES" and confirm, then wait till it finishes
*Reboot and you're DONE! Wait till the phone boots.

More info: this ROM is intended for people who like the pure Samsung experience, and for ROM developers who want to find a good base to build their ROMs on! This ROM will be always the first one to be updated!

-Added Simplistic Boot app, it will generate a notification on every boot, this isn't intended to be disturbing, but to fix the statusbar disappearing problem.
-Added AOSP Calendar, while not breaking Contacts app, so there are no FC. (This will delete TW Calendar)

-Added Chinese typing and reading support back.

Has anyone tried this rom yet? It would be interesting to see if there're the same data connectivity problems encountered in the other roms out here on xda, based on the latest KPA, LP1 and LP2.
I for one am using wanam's rom LP1 based which I found to be the most stable and which is of most importance to me, without 3G problems, but will definetely give this one a try tomorrow.

If coming from a previous ICS firmware you don't need to flash stock XWLPO firmware BUT if you have any trouble please consider to do it, find it HERE

All credits (I repeat once again) goes to Rovo89 from XDA,support him and his project, I only implemented the mod in the rom.
This post will explain how to use Xposed system framework, for details please refer to the thread on XDA that found HERE
Included in the rom you will find two applications of the system: Xposed Tweakbox installer.
1 - Start Xposed installer and tap on "Install / update"
2 - Exit and restart device
3 - start again Xposed installer and tap "modules"
4 - put the check mark on "Xposed Tweakbox"
5 - Tap "libraries" and replace the three default entries with those designated "Xposed tweakbox"
6 - reboot again
To customize your changes just use the app Tweakbox, the changes will be effective immediately (or almost)...
To remove the mod installer Tweakbox just uncheck the module and plug on "uninstall", reboot and voila! Will be restored to its original conditions of Rom

At the moment i have preferred to include Lidroid-res, instead of Jkay: for us this means a lot of work when theming and applying mods.
BUT.... We are planning a version with jkay framework...

You should enable "force gpu render" from settings and reboot device..... And feel the real difference! try the contacts scroll.......

Thanks for great ROM - everything works flawlessly, very smooth, visually beautiful and battery seems very very good... Once more thanks.

Well... In the middle of the next week we will release an update about the rom: there will be a 2.2 speedwizz called C.R.E. (COMMON RAIL EDITION) with samsung stock theme (or almost ) and a 2.2 called B.L.E. (like most of us have just understood BLUE LIGHTENING EDITION) with a personal theme.
One of the new features is the Jkay support for both versions.

What is it?
Gingerbread - or is it? Guaranteed to be the most authentic holo experience for gingerbread-running galaxy players. Comes in red or blue - you choose! On top of complete holo bliss, you will also find things essential to custom roms such as; lidroid toggles, market compatibility mod, and much more!
Why should I care?
Because if you haven't noticed; HOLO ROCKS!
This is already the most complete holo-themed rom for the galaxy player (excluding cm9/10, duh), but I wont rest until every ugly scrap of touchwiz has been eradicated - long live holo.
What kernel should I use?
I strongly recommend the stock kernel, but it will work on any gingerbread-based kernel for your device.
Will it work on my device?
This has been confirmed working on both U.S and International versions of the 4.0 AND 5.0!
How do I install?
To install with Heimdall: Download the appropriate heimdall zip for your device, extract, and flash factoryfs.rfs with heimdall (search around or ask if you need help with heimdall).
To install with CWM: Download the appropriate CWM zip for your device to /sdcard, boot into recovery, go to "mounts and storage", select "format /system", go back to main menu when that finishes, then select "wipe cache partition". After that, go to "install zip from sdcard", select the zip you downloaded. Flash and reboot. With any luck, you'll be done!
If you want to have ICS blue instead of red as the accent color, flash the appropriate blue_patch.zip for your rom version with cwm after installing the rom, or push the contents of the "system" folder inside the zip to their respective places in the /system partition with a root explorer or adb (for advanced users that know what their doing).
A full data wipe is recommended just to keep things clean and may be necessary depending on what rom you are coming from (coming from stock shouldn't be a problem).

Known Bugs/Issues
- Supersu's binary must be updated before apps can gain root acces
- CWM version converts /system to ext4
- The 5.0 doesn't have flash for it's camera app FIXED!
- The 5.0 doesn't have the market compatibility mod or Google Talk video chat mod FIXED!
- The 5.0 doesn't have roboto fonts FIXED!
- Some people report their 5.0 reboots when earphones are plugged in, but others say it is fine

This looks and sounds amazing! I'll definitely try it. I know this may be too much to ask (and it kinda screws with the cool name you came up with), but are any color variations planned? I'd prefer the original Holo blue if given the choice. Still, this looks very promising and I'll be playing around with it soon!

Yeah, I was thinking about making a original blue variation. After I switched to red, I couldn't look at ics blue without hurting my eyes though, lol! We will see if I have some spare time in the future.

I am glad to see that you are working on gingerbread roms. I am holding out on GB and really like to see active development taking place on GB. Although I would like to see a CMW package of this rom. It just seems like it would be a good rom to use on any 4.0. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, I figured I had been around the Galaxy Player scene since day one, so it was about time I made a rom, lol!

Well, actually less than stock since I fixed the flipped camera bug and black notification text bug, lol! The only minor issue is since I changed the buttons to white text on dark background, and some apps use their own button text parameters, some buttons in apps will be black text on dark background, making it a little hard to read.

Currently I haven't done much concerning individual apps, but I may work on those now that I have all the framework themed. For what it's worth, even though I haven't actually worked on most apps, many ui elements in them are ics-themed just from me theming the framework.

Instructions:

2 - Put the zip file in your internal/ext Sd card
3 - Reboot in recovery (CWM,TWRP)
4 - Flash the ROM
5 - Follow the instructions on the AROMA installer
6 - Wait for the process to finish and reboot

V7 NIGHTLY BUILDS: You will have to build them yourself. Just go to this link https://bitbucket.org/dariolob/dmodv7/downloads and press "Download Repository", that should download a zip file of the ROM. It isn't ready for flashing though! Um, that's because it's based on stock...
Adding things from AOKP. AOSP requires editing tons of smali and xml files in the framework.

good job...I will help you test the rom on i8190 standard version...

I advise to flash it It's Google Play Store but with inverted colors (black background instead of white) and a nice blueish UI. It matches perfectly our AMOLED screen!
