Expansion Slot - Xperia Tablet Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Couldn't find much on this, but is the spot to the left of the micro sd slot usable for the SDHC? If so how do you access it? Thanks ahead of time.

No that is the micro SIM card slot for LTE versions of the tablet (blocked on the WiFi versions for obvious reasons). The micro SD card slot accepts SDHC though.

No. That spot is where a SIM card would be installed. It is blocked with a piece of plastic on WiFi only models.

It is not possible. The LTE hardware is not installed in the WiFi Only tablets.

Is it possible to hack in the LTE hardware?

need help for micro simcard

Hi all,
Could you tell me how to remove micro simcard from Razr?
And also how to activate micro simcard on Razr. I used normal (large) simcard for my Milestone.
In the lower left side of the phone, there is an opening where the sim card and micro sd are.

Thanks for you reply. I need to check with my service provider. I think my service provider does not activate my new micro simcard.

Does anyone know where LTE sim card is located on S3?

...not apparent where exactly it is definitely not easily accessable.

they're in there... just not accessible without taking it apart
It more of the radio..its in there, but you'd have to disassemble the phone, and void your warranty more, or course.

Call your carrier and tell them to send you a new SIM, or if you don't want to wait for a new SIM, go to [Insert carrier] store and tell them to make you a new one, and you'll have it within five minutes. That's how it works here at least.

Yes, just visit your carrier and ask for a nano sim.. us here in the Philippines would replace it free of charge and would say it will take 24hrs to activate.. but it normally activates w/in 6hrs..

Or if you are confident enough you can cut it manually with scissors. What I did and worked perfectly.

I think it would be much safer if you use a exacto knife (i dont know how u spell it but we call it blade cutter here at my place) + a ruler or any straight edge to guide you rather than just a scissor...
Scissors have the tendency to bend the card if you made a mistake and slipped..

There is too a mini sim! It's what you called 'regular sim'.
The original sim (Full Size Sim) was the size of a credit card!
Then they bought out the Mini Sim. Which was used for years and years.
Then came the Micro Sim. Likes used in the Z Ultra and SGS3.
Then came the Nano Sim. Likes used in one of the iphones. Don't know which one, don't care. I phones suck.
There's also an Embedded Sim which is tiiiiiiiny.

I'm using a sim adaptor and have been for a little over a month now.
No issues found at all, but have not removed/reinserted since first getting the phone.
Did not buy a fancy version, got this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0093UU6AW/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1402354469&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX110_SY165
Can you take out the sim now and insert it back in and let me know?

Dual Sim active and SD

Guys,
I seem to be a little confused, where hopefully you can clarify this for me. Is the P9000 able to have AND 2 SIMs AND the SD active at the same time or is it that you should choose between either the second SIM or the SD ?
