Which microSD card to buy? - Micromax A116

Hi,
My A116 will arrive tomorrow. Can I use a class 10 microSD card with A116?

Yes you can use class 10 memory card with a116. I mostly prefer class 10 UHS-1 currently i am using strontium 16GB class 10 UHS-1 ..........

It provides lifetime warranty and service centre response and service is awsome......
Isn't this enough.....

I am using a Samsung Class 10 8 GB, and it works fine. No problems occured till date.

The pic uploaded is a result from SD Card Tester app.
However, I get
Write- 11 MB/s and
Read- 18 MB/s while transferring data with a PC.

i got 16MB/s Write and 23MB/s read speed in strontium UHS-I 16GB.

Mine is not UHS-1 but simple Class 10, got it from flipkart at Rs 430.

If you're asking for the read / write speed I'm pretty sure that quadrant has that incorporated into what it tests.

i dunno.. but maybe ex-fat would work too
Exfat wont work. Closed soures, so backup, fat32 format and put back.

Hello members,
I'hv bought my new S3 just few days back. :highfive: Now I'm planning to buy a new sandisk ultra class 10 sdcard 32 gb..
I wanna know that does S3 support it?
Does S3 support UHS-1?
I'hv read somewhere that S3 dowsn't detects it!! or it can't be formatted to FAT32..??

I bought a 64Gb Sandisk from Amazon (UK) (make sure to buy direct from Amazon, not another seller!)
Default comes formatted as exFAT, so PC didn't recognise until formatted with FAT32.
You can either format thru your phone or on PC as I recall.
Depending on your ROM, I would suggest you will be better off with FAT32. (Windows doesn't recognise exFAT anyway).

The best I do not know which is, but i'm using a micro sd class 4 32gb & i'm very pleased whit it.

Class 4 enough for our mobile because mobile internal memory speed is only 2.3mb/s..

I dont know but higher class is better when transfering from pc to phone and phone to pc via usb cable.

there is difference in read/write speeds when i copy data from pc to sd via usb....but when loading games like nfs most wanted there isn't big diffrence in loading times.

64gb microsd

Does the s2 support 64gb micro SD .
