This is thread taken from Xperia Play development section, as my friend Pippo Mandiri asked me to move my ROMs to this XDA community, cause all of them are working perfectly on Xperia Neo L . Sooo, welcome guys, feel free to post here all your feelings about projects and welcome in DiXperia World!
*All help you can get from my side or mostly from Pippo, as he's got Xperia Neo L and spend more time here on Neo section, as he's got this device (I don't, but I have Play ;]). If you have any questions - write here without problems. Cheers!

As always, I want say thanks for all big names here, my testers, my friends, and all community (especially thanks for Pizza_Dox, wedgess, krisdee, Spizzy01 and DooMLoRD .
As I have 6 projects to work on for Xperia X10 and Xperia Play, all things I'm making with more stress and less time, trying to do it with all my best knowledge the best possible way . But it doesn't matter, when DiXperia 3 is right here right now!
DiXperia 3 is my ROM based on official Gingerbread with full of mods and ports.
Only one version is planned, and I can't promise any more unexpected ROMs by me (like always, my life changed much and my free time is not big as was before ).
Most of features are written below, so start reading this big thread! Hope you still want do that, and use my ROM :fingers-crossed:.
Based on official SE 2.3.4 GB, with Sony Xperia apps and framework.
Create Yourself ™ - my own idea. You've seen this in all DiXperias - it's something like "you choose stuff and version you like, and if you need something, you just apply this like extra file. No need to delete tons of apps you don't using and won't" - it's simple, fast, and has potential .
Playstation Certificate.
Track ID.
Xperia player.
Changing music via volume buttons, and music in lockscreen.
Facebook.
Xperia swype keyboard.
Scripts, tricks, tweaks - they promise lot of fun, lot of performance and lot of stability ^^.
I think it's enough but you know it's not everything - I'm sure I missed a lot of features, but it's up to you to test it yourself if you really want to using this ROM.
Just come and get it in second post .
Of course Root + Busybox.
Lupus GB Kernel.
CWM Recovery.
Download ROM (+ optional addons) and put it on your SD Card.
Go to CWM Recovery and make Full Wipe and Wipe Cache, then clean your Dalvik, fix Battery and Fix Permissions.
Choose .zip to flash and select my ROM. Wait...
Done! Reboot and feel free to use this!

Don't want make mess here, so just go and read Suggestions, cause there are some nice advices to get DX3 working like it should (we need change some settings after flashing and booting ROM ).

Golden-Suggestion #2 -> I want this thread clean best possible. Of course you can write here anything is connected with DX3, you can write some reviews, write about bugs if you find some which was not posted before, give link for some videopresentation if you made some, screenshots and more, more. But please - if you want thanks to me or anyone, click THANKS button, or if you want write some "little-offtop" go to Discussion Thread(thanks to pedyvirus and all guys who will help him in support of my ROM ), where you can talk about everything, not DX3 only ^^.
And:
- Don't use any backup! (it doesn't mean you must delete yours, but be sure that it can create some problems. If you replace backup and everything is cool - that's cool! )
- After flash my system give it 1 day for better stability and the second one for applicate all scripts/tweaks/tricks.
- Flash every addon separately.
- Simple, but no one understand it. If you want to have better battery life just decrase brightness.
- In my opinion, smartassV2 or interactiveX (choose yourself), and frequency of CPU 364-1306MHz gives awesome stability and performance (up to 1613MHz is still good enough with battery, at least should) .

No I don't think so.. Because in turbo kernel neo L can use GB roms of XPlay and Ive tried it,No Landscape Issue,But Camera isn't working..
Have a small problem with the swipe to remove notifications other than that this is a really great Rom played dead space with almost no lag after I installed a few apps :thumbup::thumbup:
Also the camera is not working "could not connectto camera "

I used Lupus V1 but did not got any problem like ur friend.....
Have u try to reflash this Rom?
The only bug i got is only sound in vid record and as far as i know ,this bugs is from kernel Lupus.....

I downloaded and am installing now, i also took a look at the scripts and stuff in init.d and build.prop and i looked at some lib files, looks very clean and i love the init.d Re permission fix thing, very usefull!, also i looked at the original thread and i saw small apps or soming, , Expecting High Stuffs from this rom, its beautiful!, gives me the feeling of Atomic GB honestly, (which is good)
i would thank u if i had any left, but i will do it tommrowoz...

wow installed ran thru everythin, 2 words : Slick and Beautiful!, but i have 1 downside, :/, Some bloat... xD, theirs the xperia Hot shots and stuffs, but its removeable but their r some other apps in system/app so we dont have privelages to remove unless u know how to use root explorer, lol, but u get what i mean, their r some simple users, also i understand this is a port and u dident intend these apps, but its great overall, nothing wrong, 0 Bugs,
oh also Daily Driver! also nice sound and games r perfect!

thanks,but in the 7th screenshot it looks like you just used a task manager and killed those apps and now they're just restarting,which mean less actual ram than you showed us.and also this thing really drives me nuts : secure clock service

Those apps are probably installed by system services, such as CustomizedApplicationInstaller.apk, ApplicationsProvider.apk
Don't remember if there are other ones though

about the apps, check somewhere in etc/product/applications, also the sound output is excessively higher!, but theirs not much audio quaility loss!,

i always play songs with 80% sound in this rom

hmm... i dont think build.prop tweaks can increse sound, but ill have a look,

there was a problem with volume
it was 14 steps instead of 15 setps

Sometimes widgets don't refresh the information, noticeably the clocks one. Changing desktop screen and back works to refresh it.
Reboot doesn't work as expected: if I choose reboot or CWM in the power button menu, the rom skips the shutdown process and shows immediatly the rom booting with the xperia logo and white background.-use status bar to reboot.
ALS doesn't seem to work well.on power save mode it seems to work.

This is where your rom shine
First part:
After restoring my apps and let the rom settle a little here is list of games that i tested:
-MC4- Run ok, but with tiny micro lags. Playable, but not really enjoyable. When overclcoked to 1.4GHz, it runs SMOOTHLY! Few little lags on heavy scenes and loadings, but tottaly enjoyable
-Asphalt 7 - SMOOTHLY, with litlle micro-lags, when OC, even those lags are gone
-Crasy Taxi - lot of lags, less when overclocked
-FPSE - Tested on Spyro 3, run smoothly, stable on 60fps, few drop downs to 50fps. Without framelimiter, it goes to 75fps
-NOVA 3 - Smooth.
-Redline Rush - little lags, and it crash to home screen when restarting race
-PPSSPP - it works as much as it can lol
Second part:
Aftering setting up zram in lupus menu to 60MB, things start to fly :good:
-MC4 - Tiny lags here and there, but enjoyable, and when OC to 1.4, it is FLUID!
-Asphalt 7 - fluid on stock speed, no lags at all
-Crazy taxi - still laggy, when overclock only small lag, but is playable and enjoyable
-Redline Rush - no lags, no restarts
Games also tested and runs great on clock speed:
-Aralon HD, Age of Zombies, Bad piggies, Cosmic Colony, Dead Trigger, Eternal Legacy, Fifa 10, Gangstar Rio, Pocket RPG, Star Batalion, The Sims Freeplay, Zuma Blast...
Antutu score:
On stock speed 4700+, pritty great for ics rom
On 1.6GHz 5500-5700 , I am amazed how good it is.

free ram on ICS is painfull..on this 1 version,i did what i could for this heavy rom,but still can have 160-180 free on 480p versions of lupus kernel..dont forget this rom is heavily modified and themed, its beautiful. it runs smoother after 2 or 3 days and gaming a bit for testing.
in next versions hopefully i can improve it.please report any bugs..i have tested for a day but maybe somethings i didnt see..:good:

It's great on first look (clean install on Lupus ics/gb V7 480p) and i'll report later once all the apps are restored.
Btw, that 2g/3g bug is fixable in semcphone.apk
I don't remember exactly where i finded the guide (maybe here, i can't remember), but i can fix it, in next few days, by comparing smalis from my rom

thanks..nice to see you here..i was uploading when i remember that bug on some ICS....and there it is..its a minor bug only happens on reboot..so no worry..its doesnt bother..if you fix it send me the file and i will add in next release as i think this rom can be better..if users like it i will keep working on this.

I was a while on GB roms, spending time to see if i could find some that suit my taste. (and i didn't )
I'll fix that bug, but first i'll spend some time in rom testing.
For now, this ROM looks awesome Sound levels are great, no xloud bugs... Walkman in notification don't have previous-song button, but i've seen it other roms with new walkman, and not much important IMHO

yes..its new honami walkman..with unlimited music service built in..its super nice and great look.im not use to ICS roms, so i put some new features,that looks awsome and work perfect on play..without hurting performance..so its a balanced beautiful/performance..
im gonna test a few games and make a video review..should be available later.

Even if it's maybe heavy roms, but for now it's well balanced, and it have lot of cool and eye-candy features.

it wont work..all my multiboot roms are described as such.
this rom must be installed on ICS recommended kernels for neoL and xperia play.:good:

DiXperia Energizer is my ROM based on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
Most of features are written below, so start reading this big thread! Hope you still want do that, and use my ROM :fingers-crossed:.
Based on JB 4.1.2, with Sony Xperia apps and framework.
Create Yourself ™ - my own idea. You've seen this in all DiXperias - it's something like "you choose stuff and version you like, and if you need something, you just apply this like extra file. No need to delete tons of apps you don't using and won't" - it's simple, fast, and has potential .
DX Engine ™ - Kernel for DiXperia projects!
Playstation Certificate.
Walkman player.
Changing music via volume buttons, and music in lockscreen.
Facebook.
Xperia swype keyboard.
Scripts, tricks, tweaks - they promise lot of fun, lot of performance and lot of stability ^^.
I think it's enough but you know it's not everything - I'm sure I missed a lot of features, but it's up to you to test it yourself if you really want to using this ROM.
Just come and get it in second post .
Of course Root + Busybox.
Unlocked Bootloader.
Required Kernel (of course could be any for JB ROMs).
CWM Recovery.
Download ROM (+ optional addons) and put it on your SD Card.
Go to CWM Recovery and make Full Wipe and Wipe Cache, then clean your Dalvik, fix Battery and Fix Permissions. (if needed, make /system format too)
Choose .zip to flash and select my ROM. Wait...
Done! Reboot and feel free to use this!
==> Important <==
Don't want make mess here, so just go and read Suggestions, cause there are some nice advices to get DXE working like it should (we need change some settings after flashing and booting ROM ).
Post #4 explains everything .

And:
- Don't use any backup! (it doesn't mean you must delete yours, but be sure that it can create some problems. If you replace backup and everything is cool - that's cool! )
- After flash my system give it 1 day for better stability and the second one for applicate all scripts/tweaks/tricks.
- Flash every addon separately.
- Simple, but no one understand it. If you want to have better battery life just decrase brightness.
- In my opinion, smartassV2 or interactiveX (choose yourself), and frequency of CPU 364-1306MHz gives awesome stability and performance (up to 1613MHz is still good enough with battery, at least should) .

Touchpads are working, but it seems like touching them starts a lot of events (that's what Cosmic Dan and farenheith said, when they analized it) and so lag.
But still, in newer CM10 releases, touchpads lag is reduced, so they can be used without problems in games like Dead Trigger, perhaps MC4 and others.
P.S.: if you want I can patch the framework.jar for you, as I opened a whole thread for touchpads fix on newer roms

For now yes, till me and extremetempz will work on DXEngine, but before we start I need to end all ROM projects first, so DX Rare for Xperia J, DX Plentiful for Tracer OVO 2.0, and Kernel for Xperia X10 - then will contact extremetempz for Play Kernel . For now, use Lupus.

Justin 'extremetempz' is offline for a long time and I can't contact him....Also, I decided I will work with him on Kernels for Play after I relase all my last projects for all devices, so I wanted to contact him after 2 days but still...He's not here. No news for now, I know he has some problems with his laptop and he said he might be offline but I didn't know he won't be available even on mobile ;/. Sorry buddy.

ROM relased happy using .
When opening album I'm getting FC
& Sound enhancements FC
First i flashed the ROM then "Social Timescape + Facebook" and "Torch + DSP Manager" . Any Advice?
Flashed "If something not working.zip" still the same

About Album - Read OP and Bugs .
About Sound Enh. - will fix that in update ^^.
Just a few hours try this ROM and feel comfort for my next daily use....
I used Lupus V10....
Delete Album and used Quick Pic (picture) or MX Player (for video) this is my other option cause this ROM got known bug (Album FC)....
One more,i used Zeam Launcher cause it is simple for me....
Not yet try for gaming...
Multitasking,dont ask me just try ut urself (so far so smooth)...

Thanks for fast review friend, but read Bugs and find out, that Album FC is fixed via installing it manually from ROM zip itself, I dunno what causing this in compiling, but yeah, it's working fully after making this "fix" .
