xperia neo v reboot to the lock screen - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

Hello,
I have a strange problem with my phone when the phone is unlocked everything was running smoothly but when the phone locks the screen over and over again restarts.
Problems occurred on T0X1C V8 ROM (and kernel night elf 10.1), but only after a few weeks of use.
I initially thought that just reinstall rom and / or kernel but it did not help
: (
My next step was to flash stock ROM (.587) via flashtool but it not solve the problem.
Could someone help me with this problem? Thanks a million in advance.

but for me it's strange that when I do something phone work normally and when i lock screen it rebooting (all the time).
When is connected to charger work normally too (on lock screen and unlock)

Problem exists in the stock rom too?
Well flash the camera patch u may find in the thread where u downloaded the rom.
If you have KA12 rom and installed it freshly then you have to patch it with Neo V patch, even i have the same problem but after i patched it works fine.
I think you are with Neo drivers on Neo V,flash the Neo V camera patch that will restore Neo V drivers
Always specify full details for what u did...that makes finding the solution lot easier...the rom u flashed...device...do what thilina told...and read the rom thread carefully before trying.

Like @unisol107 said, first provide all the details of your device!
Device name, ROM, kernel etc..
It would be easier for the members to find a solution to your problem then!

Search on xda u find a patch for that and its work
Or reflash stock Rom...

Did you try using the patch for neo v ??

[xperia mini] frequent shutdown.

My xperia mini shutdowns instantly when in idel state.
It started happening today only,i wasnt experiencing any problem before,
It becomes a little bit hot at back and even at front just a bit not more a bit only
Why is this happening?
I dont want to reflash it.
I use Stock GB .62 with rage kerne v3l. (should i use xKernel instead)
Check if the phone is heating at the down-left as it happened to me earlier and found changing kernel solved the issue.
I do not know what is the reason but it worked for me.
Just change the kernel and try

2 solve this kind of problems, flashing is the easiest way... or as others said : changing the kernel ...:good:

[Q] MT11i Touchscreen Not Working On Every JB Kernel

Hi,
I have a problem making JB ROM to work on my Neo V. My situation is like this:
I have an MT11i with unlocked bootloader. I was trying to install MIUI v5 with Fusion Kernel v5.5 (latest version i believe). The installation finished without any problem. But after the first boot, my touchscreen doesn't work. I can't even select anything on the screen. It's not responding. Only buttons such as back, home, menu, vol up, vol down, power and camera does work, nothing more.
Here's how i do it :
1. Flash stock FTF,
2. Flash stock FTF again - without kernel and baseband (as suggested in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2273017&page=16 comment #155)
3. I flashed Fusion Kernel v5.5 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1926299)
4. Rebooted into CWM and installed the MIUI v5 3.6.21_v2
5. Finished installation, reboot into system
6. Stuck at MIUI Welcome Screen
I know this question has been asked elsewhere in the forum. I did searched for it. But i didn't found any thread that had this problem solved. FYI, i also have tried every JB kernels that i know (LuPUS, Fusion, TWRP and so on) but always got the same result.
My touchscreen works flawlessly if im using any ICS based rom. But not JB rom.
Does anyone had any idea what caused this? Can i still have the chance to install JB into my phone?
You seem to be the only one with this problem. Could it be you have a hardware issue?

I am not sure if it is hardware issue. But why it would work without problem on ICS kernel and rom? I will try to get the logcat of it, though i think it would be difficult without being able to enable usb debugging on the MT11i.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Just now, i was able to pull the logcat output for several moments on the phone. Also, i have used AndroidSystemInfo hardware listing. But i am so new with reading the logcat file.
I have attached both file. See if someone could help me find out the cause.
I ended up using xperia ultimate HD rom 3.0.2 with Holo launcher. Turn up it did pretty well. Feels like JB though. Mybe i'll continue with the problem some other time. For now ill just be fine with this rom. Thanks anyway guys.

Battery always at 100%.

I'm facing a weird problem. It happens with ctcaers kernel and some custom ROMS like hd ultimate , zelly cream etc.
Battery percentage stays at 100% all the time.
I don't think that it is a hardware problem because battery meter is correct with other kernels. It is also correct with JB roms.
Has anyone a solution ?
Thanks

Even I experienced this weird problem... The things i did was,
Flash the stock ROM first and then try different ICS Kernels and boot up to see which works fine ( Because the problem is only in certain ICS Kernels , I experienced this problem only in the kernel kappa v1.7 )
Yes , flashing another kernel like Lupus solves the problem.
I will try now. Because i flashed stock rom but it isnt solves.
Try bettery calibrator from to fix the problem.

trying stock rom alone doesn't solve the problem, after flashing stock ROM flash some Other custom Kernel and see if battery meter works ....
this problem is only in some kernel like Kappa 1.7 etc...

Hey ..
PROBLEM :=>>
I think There is a problem with stock ICS kernel that it shows battery 100% always and you can not get right percentage of battery remaining by widgets and other apps from play store...
It happens with me when i flash stock ICS firmware ...
When you pull out the battery for some minutes/hours it shows 100% it is not hardware problem it is kernel problem...
SOLUTION :==>
This problem happened with me for sometimes i searched on google and xda but couldn't get proper solution that works 100%...
Reboot to CWM recovery...
Go to ADVANCED=> WIPE BATTERY STATS
POWER OFF phone
Flash custom kernel using flashtool in fastboot mode...
AND you are done..
This solution works for sure and i have done this for quite times 100% working with XPERIAS ...:good:
RAGE KERNEL problem :==>
I have tried rage kernel v3.2 but i am not satisfied with that ...:crying:
Battery drains quickly without usage (in 6 hours battery drains 25% without turning on screen)
Phone is getting heat because of over clocking ...
Sometimes phones hangs in such way that no hardware buttons works and screen is on touchscreen not works...i have to pull out battery and restart it...
QUESTION :==>
As there is a problem with ICS stock kernel we have to flash custom kernel ....
What is the best kernel for stock ICS .587???

Best kernel is Kappa v1.6 ( but Battery is always in 100% , when I came back to ICS from JB ) So after Kappa kernel , Lupus Kernel is the best...... :good:

I tried KAPPA kernel but still 100% always problem is not solving by this kernel ...
Then i tried LUPUS kernel but it is working awkwardly my system was not booting up only kernel boot ...so this also failed...
Then i flashed RAGE kernel and got battery percentage back and then flashed stock kernel back by stock ftf file.......
Now if i will pull out my battery the problem will still continues .....
So i am still finding a BEST KERNEL........

You must have flashed a wrong kernel if you don't see the sony logo! Try flashing stock .ftf for xperia u and report. Otherwise you will have to get it to a service center!
