[Q] i need help!!!! my phone stock witn no OS and unavailable storage - AT&T HTC One (M7)

Hi, i'm new to this forum and i need help to fix my phone. I tried to mod my phone and I end up brinking it (I think) and here is what I did:
1- Unlock my bootloader. Successfully
2-Flash TWRP recovery image. Successfully
3-Rooted with Android_Revolution_HD_Root_and_BusyBox. Successfully
4-Here is where everything started... I tried to flash a rom (Bulletproof-m7-3.2) and everything went wrong and please do not ask what because i do not know :crying:
now I do not have no OS and my internal storage is not working or missing or it being wipe off I do not know. I can access bootloader and TWRP recovery image but i can't install another rom because of the problem with the storage that do not let me copy files into it. Well hopefully somebody could help me with this and here is a picture from the bootloader.

Can you boot into your twrp recovery? You can always install the rom through side load. Some one correct me if I'm wrong with that because I'm not very experienced with that but I'll look around for a thread for it.
However I use a method I feel is very simple, but you just need a otg usb adapter. Put your custom rom zip on a flash drive and plug it in the otg before booting into recovery. Make sure you have the latest twrp too (2.6.0.0). The n you can install from external SD.
Again though, I think you can install from a side load method or adb.

ADB Sideload and ADB Push should both work with that recovery. I have issues with my Asus Windows 8 machine, even on the Ubuntu side, but the old faithful wife keeps a Gateway POS around with Windows 7 on it. I've used both commands successfully in Windows 7 every time.

Bulletproof-m7-3.2 = kernel, just to clarify.
Sounds like you have to sideload a rom on there

[Q] Bricked HTC One?

I seemed to have screwed over my One...
While attempting to install a custom rom I seem to have gotten stuck in TWRP. I successfully installed SU and TWRP but when I went to install the custom rom, it would not install. This was after I wiped the other data from the phone so it just keeps booting me into recovery. I have a backup made of the stock rom but it is on my computer and being the HTC One and not having a removable sd...I have no way of getting the file to the phone. When the phone is connected to the computer and in fastboot USB in the bootloader, the computer makes the noise that the phone is connected, but does not show the phone in windows explorer. I have NO IDEA how to get the phone to boot past recovery or get the computer to recognize the device... HELP
You should still be able to salvage this situation.
When connected to your PC you could push the file via ADB. Another option, if you have no problem getting back into TWRP is to go into the advanced menu and flash a ROM with ADB Sideload.
Most important, stay calm, take a few deep breaths, and things should right themselves.
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
If you are unable to use adb another option is to save a rom onto a flash drive and connect it to your phone with a otg cable. Then when in twrp go to install you can select the external drive and flash from there. I use this method when I format my device and it works perfectly. I hope you sort your problem out, good luck.

Tablet:Nexus 7 2013 running omni rom nightlys & stock omni kernel
Take deep breaths, don't panic... I did the same thing and freaked out, but I used adb sideload. Open up the cmd window on the pc, boot into recovery, type adb side rom.zip(whatever the name of the rom is. Wait for the file to transfer and install your rom. Hope this helps

[Q] HOX+ problems after root/flash...

Hello everyone,
first of all im a total beginner on this field and it's the first time doing this stuff.
since there are no updates further than 4.2 for the beautiful HOX+ i tried to flash the cyanogenmod11 rom on my device. i used hasoons all-in-one toolkit. i followed the guide step by step and got stuck now in a hopefully not that serious problem.
i unlocked bootloader and flashed the cwm international recovery. the recovery was working fine and i did a backup. then i flashed the kernel with the boot.img from the cyanogenmod11.zip and the problems started. when normally booted the phone lights up with the white htc screen and then turns off again after about 3 seconds. i haven't flashed the CM11.zip yet and i guess that was the mistake? i still can acces the recover as well as the bootloader but like already said the phone doesn't start. another problem is that adb doesn't find the device enymore and only prints an empty line when using "adb devices" howevery using "fastboot devices" still gives me the proper result. hasoons toolkit also doesn't recognice the phone anymore.
if anyone could help either getting back to a custom rom or preferably setting up cyanogenmod properly would make me really happy =).
i hope this is the right place for this. i also searched around for hours and hours but can't find anything that helps me.

you normally flash the zip via recovery, do you already have the zip on your phone?
if so, go into recovery and install, find the zip file and install it
if you don't have the zip on your phone then you will need to sideload the zip to your phone, (fancy way of copying the file to your phone) then post 4 tells you how to sideload the rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2066390
thanks

another thing i just read about is the possibility if one already has installed a running cyanogenmod rom on his device he can extract that as an system.img if i remember right and i could use it on my hox+. just in case anyone knows how to pull that off let me know =)
otherwise still looking for hints how to install rom via fastboot or how to make adb working again

Try flashing the ROM onto the phones storage. Then you can install the ROM. If you cant even charge your phone then you have bigger problems than not having an OS installed.

I have a question, since I have TWRP is it possible for me to install cm 12 rom or I need to have a unlock boot loader in order to install it?
Sorry for my bad english and thank you for answering my questions.

You need to unlock to flash a custom kernel which would be needed by the cm12 to run. So first.
1.Backup drm keys
2.Unlock BL
3. Flash CM kernel via fastboot
4. Flash CM Rom via recovery.

I just bought a Z3 tablet compact, which should be here at the end of next week. I haven’t found a tutorial which includes all steps to get from the standard rom to CM12. Did I miss any steps or does the following steps include everything?
Root tablet on the original Sony rom
Backup TA partition (I guess that's where the DRM keys are?)
Unlock bootloader
Flash a recovery (any recommendations?) I found this tutorial, but I only need one recovery and I don’t want to flash that zip every time I install a new rom.
Flash CM12. Are there any kernels beside that one included in the CM12 zips?

I guess you should just flash the kernel via fastboot after unlocking the bootloader, that would eliminate the need to flash a recovery. It's hitting 2 birds and one stone and besides CM uses a different kernel than stock so later you would really need to flash kernel.

Thanks for your reply. The whole flashing procedure is a lot more complicated than on my S3, so I have a follow-up question.
Should I just backup the TA partition, unlock the tablet, flash this kernel which should give me root and TWRP and then flash another recovery and CM12?
I found this recovery which is only semi-permanent, because you have to flash it before you upgrade/install a new CM12 version. It’s not big deal tbh, but is there a permanent recovery, which I only have to install once.
I'm also curious about this.
Right now, I'm trying to download the Flashtool program from Sony, but apparently, you need to "register" for it. Where did you guys download your Flashtool from?

Correct, make sure the kernel is compatible with CM

The whole procedure is really frustrating, maybe someone can help me here.
I did a backup of the TA partition and unlocked the bootloader. I tried flashing the boot.img from the cm.zip, but I have no idea how to flash the rom via the cm-recovery.
Flashing the advanced kernel to get TWRP wasn’t successful as well. I tried the fastboot mode of the Flashtool and flashed the kernel, but nothing changed.
Can someone post a brief guide with the next steps to get CM12 running (with cmd commands pls)?
EDIT: I just tried to use “adb sideload” in the CM recover, but “adb devices” doesn’t show the tablet .
EDIT2: EDIT: Seems like I got it to work after all. The DualRecover Installer worked, even without SuperSU installed.

I ran into the same problem usin the cm12 nightlies from 27th march 2015:
Sideloading would not work because the tablet is not recognized by the computer. I tried with Windows 7 and gentoo Linux.
Installing from the sd-card in recovery mode was also not possible due to a error of missing "/misc".
I solved the problem by manually choosing the driver in Windows 7. I booted the tablet into recovery. Choose update using adb as detailed in this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-...t/root-root-locked-bootloader-sgp621-t3013534
Then I found the device in the windows device manager. Here I manually choose the adb driver that I installed earlier from the flashtool package. After that the device was correctly recognized by Windows and I could Sideloade the cm12 image.

Internal storage missing

I just rooted my phone lenovo k4 note using golden twrp and flashed resurrection remix with open gapps. Unfortunately the gapps zip file was corrupted and I wasn't able to fix that.
So I booted my phone to the new os , took the new feeling but later realised the gapps are mandatory.
So I downloaded a new file and tried to go to twrp recovery mode. But I wasn't able to. I thought the bootloader must've locked itself up so I unlocked it again, flashed the twrp recovery IMG file with adb and booted my phone to recovery. But still twrp didn't start.
BUT THEN I SAW THAT I HAD NO INTERNAL STORAGE
Just the SD card
Later I was able to wipe the custom rom from twrp and I flashed the resurrection remix and gapps.
Still internal storage was missing. Can anybody help me please?

Try flashing the stock ROM, see if your storage reappears on your stock ROM.
Also, do you get any information about your internal storage in Settings>Storage on your current ROM?
I don't know if it will help, but in TWRP recovery, go in Advanced>Fix permission
I feel like the OS doesn't have permission to internal storage, in the best case it will fix your issue in the worst case it will do nothing
But safest and easiest way to fix those kinds of issues is to wipe every thing and flash official ROM

Settings>Storage just shows the is size that's is roughly around 7gb
It says 7.11gb used of 7.15gb.
It should have been 16gb
I usually have around 10 GB free internal storage

So I tried to go to twrp, but the same problem occurred.
It seems my phone is unable to go to recovery.
I did the one with power button and volume keys, and it tries to go to recovery but the ROM boots up.
I also used the is function of reboot to recovery but by this too the ROM boots up and not twrp

Ok first of all makes sure ADB is enabled in your settings just in case something goes wrong you will be able to fix it without swearing
Once ADB connect your phone to your PC and use CMD/terminal command to reboot your phone in bootloader
Then reflash TWRP using the CMD/terminal
Once it's done reboot your phone and try to go to the recovery
EDIT: I made some search
And I need you to provide me some more information
RR ROM you flashed, I need the Android version (Lollypop/5.x or Marshmallow/6.x.x or Nougat/7.x.x)
And please provide me the link to the TWRP recovery you used (if you found the TWRP recovery not on XDA, DM me the link instead, follow the rules.)
I might need the phone model/or code if applicable
(Ex: I have a Huawei Nexus 6P but codename is angler) you can see this in the bootloader

Thanks for the help but I found what was the concern (my problem is not fully solved)
The recovery was very stubborn to just start up.
So I used the official twrp app and flash booted through my phone.
Fortunately it worked.
I wiped everything including internal storage and the storage just showed up in my pc.
I flashed the ROM and Gapps again and the problem got solved.
There just one thing now, the internal storage is there when I go to Settings>Storage but cant access through File Explorer or pc.
The apps got downloaded to the internal storage only so its not much of a problem though.
I am having the same issue.

Question [SOLVED] Phone's bricked, either need an answer or 11.0.4.0's image

NOTE: Will just clarify, probably am an idiot and messed up a simple thing, so please do take everything I say here with a grain of salt.
The phone was rooted with Magisk v25.1, and I had also installed the unofficial TWRP from this very forum. I also believe I was on 11.0.4.0 of OxygenOS. It is the factory unlocked version.
I was following a guide to update the phone through fastboot, since stock recovery was just showing a screen with a keyboard, which appeared to be impossible to get past. Said guide is here.
Linked in the guide above is the 8th step of that guide, where you then flash the files from the OTA file after extracting them with payload_dumper. I believe the version I was extracting was 11.0.7.0, but to be honest, it was whatever I downloaded off of the Oxygen Updater app, so I'm not entirely certain. I had installed "boot.img", "dtbo.img", and "modem.img", then getting to "abl.img", before receiving an error: Flashing is not allowed for Critical Partitions. "Well," I thought, "I suppose I just can't do it then. *shrug*. Back to this version of OxygenOS I go." That was before remembering to attempt doing "fastboot flashing unlock_critical", which, gave me: Device already unlocked! Well, clearly not, as I should've been able to write abl.img. Attempting to flash again gave me nothing, so, I said screw it.
Well, upon trying to hit start in fastboot, I noticed the phone were now bootlooping back to fastboot over and over. So, I'm lead to a few conclusions:
a) I'm gonna need "dtbo.img" and "modem.img" (I already have boot.img) from the 11.0.4.0 stock image. I cannot find the actual image, so I'm lead to now needing some help here.
b) There has to be some way to continue flashing the files in fastboot (that is, if that is the correct course of action; I am assuming, please feel free to correct me).
c) There is a different way to fixing this than I am thinking.
d) Worst case scenario, this thing has to go back to OnePlus.
Would really hate to have to get to Step D, as this phone was a birthday present to me, and I'd find it wholly embarrassing to throw my hands up in the air a single day after getting the damn thing for my birthday just to need to send it back already, but if nobody can help me out here, then that's where I'm at.
Would appreciate any and all help/suggestions! Thanks.
EDIT: Phone is stuck in Qualcomm Crashdump mode now, bootable into fastboot with vol up+down+power. Looks like it's irreparable. Already working with OnePlus to get it replaced.
EDIT 2: Fixed it!! Big thanks to this thread for the help.

No offense, but this is a pretty dumb response. I don't think you're very familiar with how TWRP is on this device, nor the state of my own. I cannot mount storage, and even if I could, I don't even believe this rom exists for the N200 5G. Along with that, why would a USB OTG be necessary when there's.. I don't know, an SD card slot that works fine and is readable?
Also step 3 is a little laughable. That's why I'm even here in the first place; I couldn't flash every damn thing!
I'll share Oxygen OS 12 if you want it, and let me know if I should keep searching.
Just use payload dumper go to dump the payload and then flash the files with this guide.
Edit: Uploading it via xda didn't work, so here's the google drive link.
