This ROM is a collaboration of Team PATB members. Team PATB includes our testers, thread contributors, and anyone else that helps out in various ways. The Rats Of Anarchy is a group within PATB that are the ROM contributors including the Devs and Themers. We do our best to give credit where it is due and encourage user contributions to the ROM. If you have a skillset that you think could benefit the team, please shoot me a PM.
Our focus is on maintaining not only a unique ROM, but a complete unique user experience. We enjoy having fun behind the scenes, and we extend it to the thread. Users are encouraged to have fun and joke around as long as no one is offended and users with questions get addressed. We are not a uptight group that will bite your head off, but before asking questions it's always a good idea to read a few pages back.

GENERAL NOTES ABOUT 4.3
4.3, for some is great....for others, not so great. Its the base, not our fault, i wish it was perfect but its all we have. It has been good so far for me, and i hope its bug free for you aswell.
I do not use init.d scripts, ans i feel most of them are useless, i will not add or support init.d at any time, sorry.
CUSTOM SETTINGS NOTES
yes its included, NO most of it is not working ATM
only things working: hide blocking mode, vibrate, and bluetooth icons
I am working hard to get everything updated and will be posting updates as soon as i have more.
The Updater IS NOT included yet, everything will have to be redone, this is my first priority and am working on it currently

Too many options!
That's not a complaint, I am pretty sure that's making crack flashers that much happier, including me.

Lets hope no one gets the ritz effect lmao
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app

Looking awesome man!! (as always!) Glad you got this going for everyone. Another Team Nocturnal masterpiece.

DOWNLOAD link is LIVE!!!!
FYI, there is no visible boot animation, if you flash Faux kernel, you will then see the boot animation. Will be fixed soon.
ALSO!!! The ONLY thing in the updater safe to flash is themes EXCEPT for the return to default theme. If stuff stops working just dirty flash the rom for now. Thanks for the reminder RK2

For clarification purposes, I know with Goodness some things weren't working with Verizon just yet (Lockscreen options, themes, etc). Is everything working out of the box in this ROM?

Wow the boot animation really brings back Memories.
As I am secretly 19.
Haha thank you for this !!!
By the way.
Running SenseWiz theme. And it is purely awesome.
Really changes the whole rom up.

Up and running great so far (1 hour. haha). Feels just as great as it did on my GNex. Auto-rotate on stock launcher isn't working for me... although now that I read back I'm not sure it's supposed to (yet?). No matter, not a big requirement for me while on my home screen.
Thanks guys this is just what I was hoping for.
Same here ...well if I can get ROM to download

COMING SOON
FAQ:
Q: The AOSP lock screen vibration toggle isn't working? How can I have the AOSP lock screen vibration and NO soft key hepatic feedback?
A: To have the AOSP lock screen vibration toggle function properly a couple of things need to be set correctly in settings. 1) make sure if you have the "power Saving" toggle on that you UN-check the "Turn off haptic feedback" toggle. Then go into settings sound and make sure that the "Haptic feedback" toggle is checked, then scroll up and click "vibration intensity" and the "notification" value is the one that controls it.
As for having the AOSP lock screen vibration and NO haptic feedback. This one, you need to make sure that the "Haptic feedback" is checked like above and the "vibration intensity" and the "notification" value is set correctly again like mentioned above. You need to turn on Power Savings for this to work. Just UN-check everything you don't want, just make sure that the "Turn off haptic feedback" is Checed. This will cancel out the setting in Sound to activate the soft key haptic feedback and still allow the AOSP lock screen vibration working as well.
Q: Does this ROM update my baseband? If not, how do I update to the newest?
A: No. This ROM does NOT touch the baseband. If you want to upgrade I provided links above for flashable.zips for MDK and ME7 so you can decide which suits you better.
Q: I have an issue, when should I post about it?
A: Please ONLY post issues if
you have done a complete FULL wipe.
you are not running anything outside the stock ROM, meaning kernels, themes, MODs, etc.
after you have completed steps 1 & 2 please kindly post your issue(s) and I will do my best to alleviate them.
Q: How can I donate?
A: My paypal donation link is set up to the left under my name click the "Donate to me" button, or my PayPal address is [email protected]
Q: What do I choose? MOD only or Full Install?
A: The ONLY time you want to choose "MOD only" is when you want to go back and add something, so say you are on v1.1.3 or any other version, and want to add the S Translate, you choose "MOD only"
that would be the only time
when you are installing a new ROM, such as v1.1.3 over v1.1.2 or even doing a full wipe install, always choose full wipe (Aroma does not wipe for you, though) so even after choosing the full wipe OPTION, you would still need to wipe the phone in recovery prior, or after the install.
I'll try this bad boy out!!

Looks awesome. Native tether enabled/hacked? I travel a bit so this ends up as my number one feature in a Rom. I've not had good luck with the tether apps.

Please don't theme base. Maybe an add on theme is good but I personally dislike most peoples theme taste. Whatever happened to the old days of devs...and themers. Seems like now it's themers building Roms and baking their theme into it. Blacked out is overplayed also. There's no aesthetic appeal to making something plain colors with no aliasing and dropshadow to enhance the dimensional appearance.
Anyways...that's assuming your 1.1 plans are going to be extensive. Minimally themed is best imo

I just tested and it seems to be acting really weird, let me dig into that, thank you.
Although, this is with stock, a 3rd party app may work.

base is 100% non-themed..
this ROM will always be stock themed, with theme add-ons.. this is why I have a "theme" section in the second OP
my plans for v1.1 are already listed as well.
I also don't claim to be anything I am not.
I don't claim to be any type of amazing developer because I simply am not.
I am an attentive DEV, that enjoys helping the community and the challenge that I get from this.
I brought blocking mode and call/message block back to us Verizon customers, that's the only true DEV accomplishment I take credit for.
Thanks Andy bones gonna download now AWESOME

Yes you did. I got this phone on the 23rd of this month and had already stared on MDK so wanted to start with this base as I find it very solid, then move on to fully making v1.1 based off of the ME7 base that is now rooted, just want to be sure that there isn't any issues first.
Thanks for this Andy! As I told you recently in a G+ group that shall remain unnamed, you and scrosler are my devs of choice when I do run TW. And then there was only one!
Anyway, just got my S4 today, so it was perfect timing to see a BoneStock pop up here tonight! Thanks so much for your continued work and support, downloading now, and looking forward to the ME7 rebase!:thumbup:
Great to see you here andybones! Will give this a whirl and looking forward to see whatever you have in store.
Well look what we have here. Nice work pal. Keep it up, and good thing I did what I did...

Looks awesome going to give It a try
This ROM does have fully working Blocking Mode, and Call/Message Block (look at the screen shots), give those features a try, VZW worked hard at taking them away from us but I worked even harder to bring them back.

Settings, My Device, Rom Control, very bottom - Home Wake Button. You have to enable it then disable it again to get the Power button wake back.
My apologies, you already found it.
Just want to say - excellent v1 release andybones! I miss a few of the convenient addons, etc from Beans but a very solid start and, as always, I await the future. No problems whatsoever at this point - well, other than I finally found out my Samsung 64GB SD card is trash which is a different subject altogether.

Aroma Bootanimation/ Boot Logo/ Theme installer (update 3/7/14)

Basically this mod gives you 11 base themes with mix and match options for countless more. I'm sorry if I may come off the wrong way or sound short with descriptions. i made this mod for my girl and figured I would share since it has proven so well on her phone. For anyone interested new or existing Missing Link users make sure and check **here** for pictures of what the mod options will be installing if picked. I have been testing and fine tuning this mod to work smoothly with this phone. I have to say for having the limitation of a locked bootloader, this phone is great. I have found my mod works with odex or deodexed ROMs. If anyone has question or requests let me know. Thanks
This is a port from my original creation. My girl recently picked up this phone and always hands it straight over to me to break open the system for modding to her liking. I was surprised when I found that Motorola had taken away Android key feature of being "open source", by which I mean when a locked bootloader we after closed to few options for ROMs and mods. That brings me to the reason for porting my mod to this device, bring life to DROID RAZR HD!!! This is just a starter/teaser version and the beginning to what I hope will grow to be very useful and fun to use. Now to what you get ;

Nobody's Interested?
Nobody's Interested? I only brought this mod here because I work on my girls phone on a daily basis. This mod works 100% and has great options for making your ROM, yours! I will always be adding to her phone and am willing to share my work for people to use. Let me know what you think and the work will continue to come in. Thanks again. Remember to check here for more info
Do I have to have a custom ROM, or can I install it on stock ROM? I'm on a XT925, ny issues with that? Also, is there any screenshots?
Not sure what this really does but I'm game to try it out. Does this require a wiped device or will it work with an existing ROM?

You don't have to be on a custom ROM. I have tested myself using stock Rom odex and deodex with locked bootloader using safe strap. I've had zero issues. Actually this is working faster and easier on this phone than it does on my original phone.
Updated the OP
New version available. Testing has been very successful and I am happy to say this mod is going to continue development. Please give me any input or suggestions for future releases. thanks
Updated the OP
Check the OP changelog for info. I have to say this update is making this phone look great! My girl agrees and loves customizing the look of her phone.
I appreciate the effort and all, but I think this is not for me. Is there a way to uninstall?

It's not for everyone. Which mod are you wanting to change back? You can always restore a backup or "dirty flash" the ROM you want to revert the changes to. Thanks for the input. If you have any suggestions or requests I would love to hear them. Thank you

I don't like the animations, since I saw there was change to the framework I was looking for toggles. I've been on 4.3 and is the main feature I like, bu I miss too much the camera. So either I find a way to have stock camera on a 4.3 ROM or toggle on the stock 4.1.2 THe animations are cool but I use too much my phone.

This mod is working so well and getting a lot of you on my phone so I figured I would give porting it to my RAZR HD/ my girls phone a shot. Surprisingly the personnel testing I've done has went extremely well with a lot of my original options working, with a few adjustments of course. I plan to release an update in the next few days which will have probably double the options and truly the capability to theme it the way you want. I notice you have an update to your theme package as well. Looking good and glad to keep thing moving.
I should a said something...I actually have installed your mod before u released it.....changing out the update binary first and I was surprised to see much of it working.....glad you are porting it....HD needs some lovin.....
My aroma skills are lacking and found your mod when I was dissecting different aroma installers.....might have a few aroma questions in the near future if don't mind
Peace

Check OP for change log. This update is really starting to turn this mod for this phone into a very big thing. Not just a starter kit any more. This is becoming a mod of its own now. I am having a lot of success with the options I am porting from my original. Let me know what you think. Are there too many options?
Out of curiosity...... Have u figured out how to change status bar color on moto Roms? Ive gotten as far as at boot up my status bar is brown but as soon as I open an app..boom back to transparent...any ideas I know this has been a pest for many
Thanks

If you're looking to use my mod to customize the look and want to have different toggle options you can try "Notification Toggles" from the playstore and as far as the animations go I was a little confused by what you meant about the "animation are cool, but you use the phone too much"? Was there a bug with the installation? or was it the difference in time taken to change transitions? If it is the latter you can try changing the speed in developer options in settings menu? If you haven't loaded Missing Link v3fixed you should definitely give it another run because it has my girls phone looking great. Anyways hope you find what you're looking for
Major Update!! Now Ready for Downloading
I have put many hours of testing coming of with ideas and finally feel that this is ready for the update. I have tested this through and though and found it runs flawlessly on Blur based ROMs deodex/odex, unlocked/locked bootloader, doesn't matter! this version does mostly support AOSP ROMs with the exception of signalbars. Will update in the future!
Is there any owners of the Droid RAZR HD that are interested in Theming/modding changing Bootanimations and having options for this? I have this mod "Missing Link" posted here so tweaked for this phone now! My girl had this phone and she can't have her phone plain (stock) knowing and seeing what my phone looks like so I have been building this for months now. The versions she is running gives her complete control of how her phone looks and runs, including Bootanimations! I have to say the Bootanimations for this phone were a challenge, but I have it dialed in now. If the interest is here I would love to share, if not, oh well! Good luck and enjoy

a stock non international Empty? Whaaaaaaaa... Awesome I was testing out the base build for a couple days now, It definitely needed to be Empty. (Still a great build though) Reggie you're gonna be famous if you keep it up.
Woo hoo! Looking forward to this!

I'm probably going to post this in both eg threads but I'm looking for opinions;
I'm really liking being back on a vzw build. It's early in running it but I'm already wanting to finish the ui on the international and devote all my time to this Rom.
I realize it's my choice but I work for the VZW S4 community as I'm concerned and my wife allows
So I want to know what you think.
Empty Galaxy or Empty Verizon Galaxy?
I'd do a poll but let's be honest, I'll be lucky to get more than a few responses.
[emoji12]
I would be happy with either, but I would prefer VZW.

Reggie, I just thought I'd drop by and say congrats man. You've been doing some great work for the community with your awesome rom and themes! (I still use one of your themes :thumbup
And as for my opinion, I'm biased you know me, I hate anything that says "Verizon" in it lol.
So here's one vote for Empty Galaxy :sly:
Right on. I could have a whole section to thank you and @bajasur for practically anything I post so I sincerely appreciate the congrats.
You know I love hearing you having a theme on too!
And vote noted
Probably a stupid question but what is the real difference in between the builds?
I've been using your EG roms for months now as my daily driver so I'm obviously interested in any new work from you so I'd be happy with whatever you chose to do. I reserve the right to ebb towards one of the two once I understand the differences, though, ha ha.
That's a good question. Honesty I'm not real sure other that the volume rocker going all the way to silent and the white dialer and mms. It's a different build and feels a little different but this ultimately may match the speed changes I've made to other and end up feeling the same. This will have a more Verizon inspired themed ui, for whatever that means, but I think your question is valid, I guess we'll see if anyone finds some differences.

Havent been able to flash this build or the last Empty Dec edition due to too much life goin on, but i'd say VZW minus all vzw branding. Love em though. Simple and awesome UI and a Rom that just works
flashed this on SS and is running fine. no issues so far. thanks a lot!
I hate to be selfish....but VZ Empty Galaxy all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi,
Can someone try using the Mobile Hotspot feature and let me know if it works. When I try to use it I get a settings FC everytime. I have not made any changes/tweaks to the ROM. This is happening on a clean flash on MDK through the latest TWRP. Thanks in advance!!

same here - settings FC on MDK
Thanks to everyone chiming in on the Verizon vs International question. I'll keep going on both for a few either way and we'll see what happens.
The mobile hotspot fc may be a victim of debloating. I'll double check to make sure and get back to you guys. There is no hotspot hack in the rom itself and I am limited on my knowledge since I've never used it. If anyone knows what is causing it let us know. But I will be working on it.
Does this help?

Sure does - XTether xposed module enables the mobile hotspot feature ! Nice find !
EDIT: BTW - jrkruse's base NK1 Rom's mobile hotspot works without the xposed module
Well im digging 1.0 lol i got it loaded and i see 1.5 available... so theming of it? I dont think we can use your awesome orange theme because its international, so how would we get an orange theme on the NK1 builds? maybe I'm a little behind on this phone lately. Some help out would be awesome
Well.. 1.0 was never uploaded. I did testing up to 1.5 and uploaded that. Did you hack my pc!?! Jk.
I'm going to try to make the ui's from the International into vr themes minus the full apks hopefully over the week.

The mean:
Performance tweaks
Screen on/off performance and battery tweaks for snappier UI and better battery
The nice:
Rooted (SuperSU)
Non-forced encryption

No ads tweaked hosts
Zipaligned
4 way power/reboot menu
Clear all recent tasks
Ability to disable proximity sensor for those having black screen issues in calls on 5.1 ROMs (see post 2)
Native notification LED w/color support (solid or flashing - see post 2)
User configurable LED color priority: make your most important colors "stick" (see post 2)
Native LED can be turned off by modifying the last line in /system/build.prop (debug.nativeled=false)
Set your own LED blink rates (on/off times) in /data/meanpop.opt (see post 2)
Fast blinking blue LED for missed calls

Ambient notification motion sensing improvements (display activates more consistently)
Ambient display lights once for each new notification instead of each notification reactivating the display several times over several minutes
Ambient display works indefinitely instead of stopping after 3 notifications
Ambient display shows time w/seconds and date
Fixed (stock) bug where ambient display can be up to several minutes slow
Double tap home for screenshot
Hold back button for screen off
Battery %
Battery green when charging, shows % while charging
Bonus ringtones, notifications, and alarms from other devices
Stock Android so no carrier bloatware (you'll have to install that yourself)
This is based on Google stock: so gapps already installed
More to come...
Now to installation of the ROM itself...
Always make a backup before installing anything on your phone!
Make sure you already have the proper bootloader/radio installed: I recommend T-Mobile customers use @scrosler's LMY47M radio/bootloader (flashable ZIP) and everyone else use his LMY47E bootloader/radio (fastboot batch file).
On first install of MeanPop, do a full wipe (although if you are coming from a stock 5.0.1 or 5.1.0 base, you can try a dirty flash).
Subsequent updates: no wiping necessary BUT...
If you have any trouble at all, do a full wipe and then reinstall
Install using recovery (I use latest TWRP)

As with any open source stuff, some of this work is my own and some comes from other sources. So in addition to my own work (mostly in the "mean" category), here's a quick thanks to those of you who contributed knowingly (thank you) and not-so-knowingly via open source 5 finger discount (thank you just the same: your stuff is good and that's why I used it). smile.gif Sometimes it's not entirely obvious where the source started so if I missed someone, please let me know and I'll add you. Also, I'm careful to only include other work where the author does not specify any usage restrictions or has given approval. If you believe, however, that I've included something that shouldn't be in this ROM, please just PM me. I ask you sorry in advance but I haven't real interest to don't put credit to your job

• Your warranty is now void.
• I am NOT responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, III world’s war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. YOU are choosing to make these modifications! Be warning but I’ve tested this rom before publish.
• Support is limited. I do this as a hobby in my free time. All team member have family and childs but we'll do our best to help you if you state your problem in clear English, with as much information as you can (what mods you selected, have you wiped, when exactly does the error occur, what type of phone you have (ul, l , ws etc.), what carrier, logcat and so on. The more information you offer, easier for me to help you. If you do not ask for support in clear English and with no information or with a easy “don’t work” I will ignore your issue!
• NO Requests! When I work on Rayglobe rom I have in mind that I have to satisfy before my eeys and ears and all users to a decent level. What works for me might not work for you and vice versa . I'm not your personal ROM developer and it is not my job nor my intention to make everybody happy.
• Do not come here asking "Hey mate, X rom has that awesome feature and if you don't implement it in your rom, I'll !" You flashed this ROM because you liked it at some point. On this section of Xda there are best developers so his common thing find rom with good or incredible stuff. I respect other dev work so if our team can make this mode will be done otherwise no expect kang from us.
• Suggestions for improvements are always welcomed. As long as they are well documented and as long as you understand that NOT everything is possible.
• NO ETAs! While I do my best to constantly work on the ROM to improve, *fix and add new features, again this is a hobby! Our team will work on private beta and usually will publish rom on weekend! If this becomes an obligation passion fades and I might stop cooking the ROM
Code:
• In the spirit of the XDA community we are happy to share our work but always you must ask permission to use anything (WILL GIVE YOU IN 99% :) ).
• You are NOT allowed to use any part of the tweaks files, scripts or app
• If you get the permission when you use the files you MUST post proper link to this thread and mention me ( @acer73)
• Not respecting this simple rules will lead to reporting to XDA Administrators.
If you like our work and wants to keep the project alive please push thanks button.
If you want you can consider to buy us also a glass of red wine . I never ask for donations but always appreciate
