Basically this mod gives you 11 base themes with mix and match options for countless more. I'm sorry if I may come off the wrong way or sound short with descriptions. i made this mod for my girl and figured I would share since it has proven so well on her phone. For anyone interested new or existing Missing Link users make sure and check **here** for pictures of what the mod options will be installing if picked. I have been testing and fine tuning this mod to work smoothly with this phone. I have to say for having the limitation of a locked bootloader, this phone is great. I have found my mod works with odex or deodexed ROMs. If anyone has question or requests let me know. Thanks
This is a port from my original creation. My girl recently picked up this phone and always hands it straight over to me to break open the system for modding to her liking. I was surprised when I found that Motorola had taken away Android key feature of being "open source", by which I mean when a locked bootloader we after closed to few options for ROMs and mods. That brings me to the reason for porting my mod to this device, bring life to DROID RAZR HD!!! Do I have to have a custom ROM, or can I install it on stock ROM? I'm on a XT925, ny issues with that? Also, is there any screenshots?

doesn't require any cache or data wipes. Just flash in recovery and pick the options you want to change. Enjoy

You don't have to be on a custom ROM. I have tested myself using stock Rom odex and deodex with locked bootloader using safe strap. I've had zero issues. Actually this is working faster and easier on this phone than it does on my original phone.

It's not for everyone. Which mod are you wanting to change back? You can always restore a backup or "dirty flash" the ROM you want to revert the changes to. Thanks for the input. If you have any suggestions or requests I would love to hear them. Thank you

I don't like the animations, since I saw there was change to the framework I was looking for toggles. I've been on 4.3 and is the main feature I like, bu I miss too much the camera. So either I find a way to have stock camera on a 4.3 ROM or toggle on the stock 4.1.2 THe animations are cool but I use too much my phone.

This mod is working so well and getting a lot of you on my phone so I figured I would give porting it to my RAZR HD/ my girls phone a shot. Surprisingly the personnel testing I've done has went extremely well with a lot of my original options working, with a few adjustments of course. I plan to release an update in the next few days which will have probably double the options and truly the capability to theme it the way you want. I notice you have an update to your theme package as well. Looking good and glad to keep thing moving.
I should a said something...I actually have installed your mod before u released it.....changing out the update binary first and I was surprised to see much of it working.....glad you are porting it....HD needs some lovin.....
My aroma skills are lacking and found your mod when I was dissecting different aroma installers.....might have a few aroma questions in the near future if don't mind

Check OP for change log. This update is really starting to turn this mod for this phone into a very big thing. Not just a starter kit any more. This is becoming a mod of its own now. I am having a lot of success with the options I am porting from my original. Let me know what you think. Are there too many options?
Out of curiosity...... Have u figured out how to change status bar color on moto Roms? Ive gotten as far as at boot up my status bar is brown but as soon as I open an app..boom back to transparent...any ideas I know this has been a pest for many

If you're looking to use my mod to customize the look and want to have different toggle options you can try "Notification Toggles" from the playstore and as far as the animations go I was a little confused by what you meant about the "animation are cool, but you use the phone too much"? Was there a bug with the installation? or was it the difference in time taken to change transitions? If it is the latter you can try changing the speed in developer options in settings menu? If you haven't loaded Missing Link v3fixed you should definitely give it another run because it has my girls phone looking great. Anyways hope you find what you're looking for
Major Update!! Now Ready for Downloading
I have put many hours of testing coming of with ideas and finally feel that this is ready for the update. I have tested this through and though and found it runs flawlessly on Blur based ROMs deodex/odex, unlocked/locked bootloader, doesn't matter! this version does mostly support AOSP ROMs with the exception of signalbars. Will update in the future!
Is there any owners of the Droid RAZR HD that are interested in Theming/modding changing Bootanimations and having options for this? I have this mod "Missing Link" posted here so tweaked for this phone now! My girl had this phone and she can't have her phone plain (stock) knowing and seeing what my phone looks like so I have been building this for months now. The versions she is running gives her complete control of how her phone looks and runs, including Bootanimations! I have to say the Bootanimations for this phone were a challenge, but I have it dialed in now. If the interest is here I would love to share, if not, oh well! Good luck and enjoy

Do you mean the icons for each of those apps? It wouldnt be hard-persey but it would take a lot of time as you have to go one by one and replace image files for each of those apps. So you get the gingerbread style ones, then just overwrite the current ones with them. This doesnt require any compiling so it is easier. Just open the apk (dont extract it), navigate to the drawable's folder where the icon belongs and just copy the gingerbread one in and replace the old one. You also have to add in those newly modded apps into the theme package under systems folder. It sounds more complicated then it is, trust me hehe, just takes time.

Yeah I can try this for you. I am currently trying some mods/edits and am asking around for advice. I'll work on greyblur soon though after i figure my issues out.

I re-read your comment, i think read it wrong at the beginning. When the battery is discharging, meaning it is not plugged in, it is proportional. check out the attached image. the battery icons are adapted by fellow xda-user TrungT. I made it transparent to fit the theme.

[1/14/12] - Updated to v2.2.0 and now Fully supports BulletProof Rom v2.2.0!!!! Well guys after chatting with xboarder56, I was finally able to get the FULL theme working again with no need to install a skin apk..... In order to do this I had to use almost all of the stock widgets from BulletProof Rom v2.0.1, there was no other way, but these widgets have been tested and everything seems to be playing nice again Because of adding all of the stock widget, the theme is now around 148mb, but it is only replacing the stock widgets that are already on you phone(It doesn't add any new ones, and they are not modded, they are just "plain Jane" stock widgets)...... No real changes to theme itself, mainly just updated to work with the latest BulletProof Release......... Enjoy!!
[1/7/12] - Updated to v2.1.1!!! Not many changes to the theme this time around, mainly just updated to work with BP v2.1.0.... A Major part of the theme is missing from the flashable files above in the OP but that is due to changes that X made to the Rom itself.... USB Connected Icon, New SMS Icon, Linked Icon, and a few more that I can't seem to remember......Changed "New Notification" Badge(Seen on lock screen, on the Messages App in App Drawer, at the top Bar of the Messaging app when there is a new SMS and on the Messaging App Icon when it is on the Home Screen)...... Added Icons to Keyboard for these buttons - Enter button, Raise and Lower Keyboard button, Shift Button, Space Bar and the Back Space Button for both Keyboards....For the Keyboard With Arrows I added New Icons for the Arrow Buttons.... Fixed how some of the "Check Mark" icons were different so now ALL check mark icons are all Similar..... I have been running BulletProof v2.0.0.0 for a few days now and I gotta say, this is one very fast and one very slick rom.... def will one of the best roms out there for the Amaze!!!! the dialer and KB that are used in this theme were both made a while back, back when I made my first DHD theme for virtuous rom with amresh.. I never used them because I couldn't change the color of the letters and numbers that are on the buttons... but that will be sorted out soon....
when X told me what colors he wanted for the theme, I knew that it would be a good time to finally use them.... glad ppl like like them

Is there a way to have the theme on all but the main screen? I really like the look but I don't want to get rid of my kitty picture on the main screen. She is just too cute to lose! On my WM phones, I could set it so the main screen had just an image of my choice but the other screens had the theme. On the Amaze or Android in general, the picture stays on all screens. Just curious.

you can just change your wallpaper from the default wallpaper that comes with my theme and select that rascal of a little kitten wallpaper that you have .... but it will change the wallpaper for all of the 5 home screens..... as far as I know you can not have different wallpapers on different home screens, if you want one then you have to have it on all pages..... It prob can be done, but that is beyond my skill set....

Use Multi picture live wallpaper in the market. It allows you to set an individual wallpaper for each screen.

This is one of the nicest looking theme for my personal taste but I am kinda old and my eyes just couldn't tolerate the transparent on the pull-down notification (I always have many apps on it to launch as a shortcut) The last time I installed it I can't read all of those black letter on the notification panel ...
Don't wanted to asked for too much but can you make a patch to make the notification panel become white/non-transparent? I really loves to have this theme on my phone though

4.3, for some is great....for others, not so great. Its the base, not our fault, i wish it was perfect but its all we have. It has been good so far for me, and i hope its bug free for you aswell.
I do not use init.d scripts, ans i feel most of them are useless, i will not add or support init.d at any time, sorry.

For clarification purposes, I know with Goodness some things weren't working with Verizon just yet (Lockscreen options, themes, etc). Is everything working out of the box in this ROM?

ONLY themes are good, but just like the other stay away from return to default theme for now. I am off tomorrow and will be going through more things to check them out.

After I was finished doing what I felt should be done (my aim was the most rounded in terms of battery consumption, speed and stability). But I came out with the fastest ROM available for the Verizon S4 with better battery life than any other ROM I've seen. OH and that is with a fully themed beautiful Dark AOSP feeling ROM from head to toe. My favorite dialer / ROM now period. Every App that comes standard has been done over and visually improved. TRY IT EVEN IF YOU NORMALLY DON'T LIKE THEMES OR THEMED ROMS IT GROWS ON YOU VERY QUICKLY. I was never a fan of the "3d icons" but this made me believe that somethings are just meant to be. The icons just need to visually flow with the backgrounds matching apparently. Has every customization available or compatible for TW4.3 Roms and will beat any ROM you throw at it in any benchmarking test or battery life comparison test.
This has been pretty heavily tested and no bugs reported from testers. (besides if your using the original or full version you'll need to change or download the english language pack for the samsung keyboard in the Settings-Device Input- department. if that counts as a bug lol...)
gogolie's Dux Slim & Full Screenshots (these are 1.0 still havent got 1.1.1 online yet:
Installation:
1. Download your choice of ROM
2. Make Nandroid Backup of current system in Online Nandroid or Safestrap!
3. Install via TWRP or Safestrap any recovery should work. Just make sure that if theres an option like "enable old script" be sure and enable it.
4. If your on SafeStrap flash your modules (MK2 preferable) if on a different carrier flash a MARC pack and if your on an unsupported carrier or don't have my MARC pack then flash something similar to it if available or your APNS/Modem/Kernel.
5. Restart, give 5 minutes for ROM to load 1st boot. (Your following boot ups will take less than 20 seconds.)
6. Those that downgraded from 4.4.2 will have best results using an upgraded modem and bypasslkm. But Downgraders - upgrade again and check out the brand new gDux 2.0 for 4.4.2!!!!!

Believe the HYPE.
It is the fastest, and seriously wicked easy on battery with the best looking in my opinion theme available for 4.3 right now. If you know of better or want to argue these facts bring proof so we can all see just like the proof I've asked for when someone said my ROM that didnt flash a kernel bricked a device LOL funny stuff. the things people say to hide the truth from others for their own profit i tell ya...

sweet hope u went off the wall n chose gDux but let me know how you think it fairs. if your interested in trying the MDK MARC pack I'm not sure it'd apply to this rom but its goal is to Make Any Rom Compatible... its still test version 1 but thats because 2 of my testers said it "works great" and ive heard little more.

40mb its kinda heavy I'd call it the full version might rip it down to essentials like basically apns if necessary
might as well post the other packs for carriers if anyones interested in trying all still work in progress no promises, shouldnt hurt anything, meant to be a 1 flash all should enable all toggles, fix native wifi tethering/wifi, flash apns / cscs, gps fix usa, might end up in a bootloop with some ROMs. So if you cant figure out how to escape a bootloop or reflash/format forget about it. Feedback via PM plz

I fell asleep after I flashed it last night but I couldn't get pass the splash screen. I flashed it with ktoonsez kernel on the latest TWRP. I'll try the MDK MARC pack after work today.

ive tried downloading the full version 7 times it gets all the way to the last second says interrupted and then says done but it isn't downloading all the way ive never had an issue downloading a rom before what is going on

Quicker responding home button - Open S Voice and uncheck the "Home Wake" buttonBattery Saver - Open Application Permission from the Settings and go to Google Play Services, now scroll to the bottom and turn off "Auto Run"! You can do this for any app you feel shouldn't have that active
1) Download and save to either internal or external Sdcard (i prefer internal)
2) Make sure file size and md5 match the download info
3) Boot to recovery using you choice of recovery (TWRP prefered)
4) Do a full wipe (cache, system, data and dalvik cache)
5) Flash LolliOZOP and reboot when finished (This will take about 10 minutes) The bootanimation may look like a bootloop, but it's not!!!
6) After it boots, wait another few minutes until you show data connection. Go through this setup wizard MAKE sure you select "NO" to Samasung Data Collection!!!! THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT for your signal connection!!! Also make sure you sign in to your google account!!!
If you don't do this you will have problems with playstore!!!
BUGS:
1) LOCKSCREEN SECURITY - DO NOT USE ANYTHING EXCEPT "SWIPE"!!!! If you do you will have SystemUI Force Close issue and will be forced to wipe and reflash!! This app will give you pin and pattern security thank to @malbert16442 for directing me to this
2) Right Side Clock gets pushed off the screen when too many icons crowd the statusbar, Either switch to left, center clock or remove the am/pm or day from the right clock
3)The Dark Backgrounds System wide theme has only a couple of issue with White on white or Black on Black text to Backgrounds, HERE is a fix back to White BG's

Could someone please the Popup remove mod in the first post
Installation instruction;
download and copy to system/app/PopupuiReceiver/and replace the existing app and set permission to 644 rw-r--r-- then reboot and see if the battery cover and charger toast come up or not? they should not
Any chance of moded TW launcher with theme support ?

Thank you. I did post a modded one for testing already. Already made the changes to services.jar for the unlimited tether as well as the csc changes for apn. Just need to reload LP for testing.
The unlimited tethering is a MUST for me as a daily driver. So that is coming soon. Thanks for your base zip!

I'll work on that. After tether and OZOP Control I'm going to mod mms with screen off toggle then go from there.
What are the results of the mods so far?
I'm about to load LolliOZOP for testing and Theming!

NP! Glad to help. Can you do a launcher w/pullup & theme support? I can not find any guide for the pullup addition, for 5.0. Can you do one of those?

I haven't seen any 5.0 Launcher mods, I was just going to use the mods from 4.4.2 and try and work the smali edits. That's down the road though since I load Nova immediately.
There isn't a ROM yet because I'm writing a new Aroma OZOP Installer for lollipop. So the mods here right now will be available in the Aroma package. When I get all the mods in place I am posting the ROM. Probably a few more days, hopefully less...
Themeing? I started out Theming so yes, I theme. Hoping to get themes out quickly, but with 5.0 it looks like a lot has been changed to code vs images so it will take a little longer.
With you and @The Sickness we will blow this place up and keep the S5 alive!

It Will have it! That is the plan. I use it daily and have to have it. Not having it is the only thing holding me back from LP as a daily driver!
I haven't seen it available yet for 5.0. The mod I added should hopefully fix it. Going to load up LP in a little bit when I have time to setup. Feedback here right now is essential for a release!

I going to load my LolliOZOP rom now for testing. The mods in the OP will be included in my rom so that's why it's important for me to get feedback when I post something. The first two sound like they were successful, just waiting for feedback on the call record/tethering mod. Nevermind can't wait anymore. Booting to recovery now. Will post the result with a fix if necessary!
Man, I feel you on the tethering, it's why I haven't gone over to lp as its my only means of internet. Thanks a lot for the tether mod good sir...I will try out today...I average out about 150gb's a month of unlimited data lol...for like the past 3 yrs

So finally got a chance to flash back to LP and try my mods and the results are UNLIMITED TETHER IS HERE FOR LOLLIPOP!!
I have also unlocked the hidden Hotspot and mobile data toggles with more to come. The tether mod also includes call recording.
Note: when flashing the mod it will take some time to reboot and build cache, be patient
Another note: this mod unlocks unlimited tether data. An existing tether plan is required! I repeat this doesn't remove provisions to allow any plan to tether. You must have a tether plan as of right now. For those of us with tethering plans, TETHER AWAY!
