Extended battery case - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

hey all,
Im thinking about getting an extended battery for my note, probably a 5200mah. I was wondering if anyone has tried this before or if anyone thinks it would work. There is a tpu case thats meant to cover phones with extended batteries. Ad says n7000 but ive seen another ad that lists the n7000 and i717 as being compatible.
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/S021-NEW-TPU...hone_PDA_Cases&var&hash=item27ce2a9ae0&_uhb=1
what do ya think?

Hi, I bought both the tpu case($5) and the 5200mha extended battery with back cover($10) from eBay and am pretty satisfied. The case fits real well around this extended back cover, not being the best case only because I would prefer something more rugged, however it has a hole for charms. The extended battery is pretty good so far as well. I am a really heavy user, and this 5200mha battery lasts me for a while, definitely time and half of the original 2600mha battery. I read forums using my phone and am constantly flashing roms or playing/downloading new apps. In my personal opinion I think this battery and case are worth the $15.

triavq,
So how do you like the battery and case? I know it's been many months, but I am curious?
I have the same one ordered (in Black) but not received yet..long way from china to here!
I going to try and squeeze that case around a 7000mAh battery and back cover. I don't like the squared off back cover that comes with some of those extended batteries.
I am hoping the 7000mAh battery isn't much thicker than the 5200mAh ones.

Andida 1600mAh vs. Seidio Innocell 2600mAh battery

So there's a phone. The T-Mobile G1. Its battery life sucks, so people have made extended batteries for it. There are two which seem to be most highly praised at XDA, the 1600mAh Andida one on Ebay, and the 2600mAh Seidio Innocell.
What i'm wondering is: which one is better for the money? i wouldn't mind the thicker back, in fact i ordered the Seidio one from Amazon and it arrived today. I do know that the Andida one is like wayyy cheaper for the battery life than the Seidio, and supposedly they're both quality...
Should I return the Seidio one to Amazon and get like 2-3 of the Andida ones? for $10 each, that's gonna save over the $50 Seidio... so i want to know if the Andidas are just as good as the Seidios quality-wise and holding charge after a few months. If you could help ASAP that would be awesome cuz i only have so much time before the return time for Amazon is up...
EDIT: so i understand that the seidio will probably last twice as long as the Andidas... but it is expensive in comparison... so getting 2-3, even 4 andida batteries is still cheaper than getting one Seidio battery. maybe in that case as 2 andida batteries outlast one seidio for less than half price the Andida is worth it? or is the Seidio actually going to last longer and thus worth the high premium?
TYVM to all who responded. i've made my choice: Andida. reasons being:
1. i am going to put the invisible shield on the g1 all around and it would looks stupid on the huge back of the seidio.
2. price difference
3. pocket feel lol
Honestly, if you already have the seido one, I'd keep it cause it will save you the hassle of switching out batteries. Also noting that it will probably last longer then 2 Andida's.
I originally purchased a 2300mah battery from some china seller for like $13 about 4 months ago. This battery is still giving me over a day and a half's worth of life and I consider myself to be a power user. I at first really like having the bigger back and made it more easier to type on the keyboard. Now I am at point where I miss using my bad ass leather belt case so I decided to go with the andida everybody was raving about. After a week of using it, I have to say I'm pretty impressed with its daily life so far. I conditioned it for the first 5 charges, I used it up all day till the power was fully drained, then charged it with the power off all night while I slept. I must say I was skeptical at first, but now I am a believer, totally worth the ten bucks.
I've got the Seidio 2600. And although thicker (pack of smokes thick), I can actually use 3G, and or WiFi all day long and not having to sweat missing a phonecall at 6:30 with a dead battery. $60 well spent IMHO
I bought the 20 dollar battery from honkong. 2300mah. The battery life is amazing, but the cover leaves a bit to be desired. I am gonna rma and just hope I got a faulty cover. Barring that, I may call seidio and see if I can just buy a cover.
anyone got any luck finding the Andida Battery for HTC Magic?
tried finding but can't seem to get any info.
Battery in sig. Makes it a lot easier to type and I can feel the vib better, audio is a little muffled, but that is corrected with meltus audio patch. Over 2 days/charge.

yeah i'm kinda in the same situation. it makes it easier to type from what i hear, but i wanted to get the invisible shield on the g1 and it would look kinda stupid on the HUGE back of the seidio cover so i guess it's the andida for me. or should i say Andidas? thinking i'll get like 2-3 to match the Seidio in battery life just in case lol.

try Amazon: they have the Seidio stuff and do sell batteries separately, maybe they'll have covers too idk
http://www.amazon.com/Dream-Electra..._15?ie=UTF8&s=wireless&qid=1257761460&sr=8-15
Yeah they sell the covers separately for 8.95, so I will go that route if this doesn't get resolved.

Aftermarket Battery Vs. Case Who will win? Your opnion is needed :)

I have been researching different aftermarket batteries and cases for about 3 weeks now. And i am ready to ask your opinion!!! what is the best aftermarket battery not only in size (mAh) but in brand as well
Things I'm considering: (protection + juice!)
- What are popular Battery w/ case combos
- Does any case fit well with the Hyperion 3500mAh battery?
I have herd the SGP Neo Hybrid Ex case does?
- Any other ideas that you have
- Weight of battery
- Protection
- The basics lol
Thanks for your time and input!!!
I currently own these cases:
otter-box commuter case
Case Mate PoP case
I would never purchase a non-recognized branded battery. Hyperion to me sounds sketchy.
I purchased the Mugen 3200 mah battery, and so far it's great. I can't tell you how much mah it really is, but I can tell you that I went from 60% to 18% in almost 3 days with heavy use, and a lot of syncing (fb, email, etc). For the 80 bucks I paid, it's definitely worth it to be able to use everything on my phone, and have it actually last. You can read my thread about it for more info.
I don't believe there is a case that will fit the phone, but there are definitely belt holsters, etc, you can get for it.
Battery > Case for me by FAR. Having the phone actually have battery means more than the case.
There are tons of battery threads. Read the reviews.

best extended batteries

hi, i'm looking for extended batteries that come with replacement back cover for motorola photon
can anybody give me input ?
on how the battery perform
and how good the quality of the replacement back cover ?
actually i'm leaning towards seidio because i've used them in may blackberries and they are good.
and also the other option that i found is
either the cheapo ebay stuff (where i'm afraid about the quality of the battery and the quality of the back cover
and also the Mugen power battery (i found the price is too steep for and extended battery)
so please advice
thank you.
I've been using a TREXCELL 3500 battery from AMAZON.Pricing is in the $20-$25 range & this is definitely a solid choice over SEIDIO.
I get a solid 10 hrs of moderate to heavy use & 14-16 hrs. of light to moderate use w/o re-charging.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1526066
No problems with them yet.
Can anyone give a link to a decent external battery charger?

I got 50 Hours with light use on my TREXCELL 3500 mAh =D Favorite battery!
hows the quality of the back cover on trexcell ?
do they feel flimsy ?
I've got both a TREXCELL & INCREDICELL(don't recommend the INCREDICELL).
The battery covers are equal, if not exactly the same.
Care does need to be taken when removing the cover, especially around the kickstand area, as that is the weakest point on the cover due to the contours that are present to accommodate the extended battery thickness.
Not a big deal, or, deal breaker. You can get replacement covers by simply buying an el cheapo extended battery for a few $ on e-Bay, AMAZON, etc.......
SEIDIO will sell the extended battery cover by itself, for $14..95.
You simply just have to call & ask for it, unless SEIDIO has begun listing them on their website.
Anyone ever try the Droid Bionic battery on the Photon? I am thinking about getting it.

hi thanks
this is what i really want
a hyperion battery and a seidio back cover
do they fit ?
why hyperion, cause i've heard good reviews of it on this forum and the seidio battery doesn't get good reviews
and also my friends buy the hyperion battery with the replacement back cover, but thte cover is very bad, he broke the clips within 2 weeks, so i supposed that the seidio back case is supposedly better.
the only question for me now is , are they compatible ?
i mean will the seidio back cover accommodate the hyperion extended battery ?

Confused Battery Noob

I'm very new in the extended battery fields, and I'm intending to buy the note 3 very soon.
All I want out of this phone is to stay on for 10 hours, but I want a thickness to fit into the pocket.
Considering that I will make an order overseas ( live in Egypt) I would love some advice on a reliable battery that I would not be able to refund.
So which brand is tried, good, and reliable MPJ, Zerolemon, or other? Your help is much appreciated.

I've used an Anker 6400mah, and the ZL. Both can do 10 hours on easy.
Form factor wise, the note with the anker battery and extended back cover isn't terrible. I actually preferred it because the back fit my hand better and gave me a better grip than with the stock battery and cover. It slips into the pocket just as easily.
If you want a case, I'd still go with Anker. Coupled with the Anker, I've been using I use a seidio dilex case. It feels much more secure/ less cheap than the ZL case plus it has a kickstand. The buttons have a much more tactile feeling with the seido case. You can cut an otterbox defender to accommodate either battery, but you are sacrificing protection and risking destroying an expensive case.
If size is the biggest concern though, I'd just buy a second OEM battery and swap it out when your battery gets too low.

Anker 6400mah extended battery

I'm not one to create a post, but I just thought I would share the amazing results I'm having with this battery. I am a very heavy user, so the stock battery would need to be charged at least once to get me through the day. I was very skeptical prior to ordering the battery, however, after all the reviews I read on amazon I had to give the battery a shot.
I received the battery yesterday with a 58% charge and I used the phone sparingly. The next morning (today), I was going to vegas, which is the perfect opportunity to test the battery out. I took the phone off the charger at 530 am, fully charged, did some Web browsing/instagram/facebook etc. I used Pandora and Google maps the entire way to vegas which is a 3 hour trip. With everything at the max settings including screen brightness, all social media syncing and the battery is still going strong. I have not charged the battery since this morning at 530 am and it is now 1135 pm with the battery sitting at 4%. If you're on the fence about purchasing this battery, do it! Here are some screen shots for you all to enjoy:
One more thing, this was all done without wifi. I was on 4glte most of the time, but i also ran into areas where i had no service on the way to vegas. I wanted to see how much I could push the battery and it did extremely well.

interesting... I was just getting annoyed about charging my spare batteries and charging my external charger so might check into this.. I just hope it isn't too thick
It's not too thick, even with the seidio extended dilex case on it isn't too bulky.

thanks.. seems like that's one of the best ones? I heard the stock anker cover sucks
In my opinion, it is the best case for this battery. The stock anker cover is very slick and shiny, however it fits perfectly. The slick and shiny drawbacks didn't bother me too much, because I knew I was going to have the seidio extended dilex case on it. I was more concerned about the fitment of the anker cover, and it fit like a glove.
would you mind posting some pictures of the phone with the case?

I have this battery and it fits perfectly under the seidio extended ledger view. Basically a S view cover. I assume it would fit any of the seidio extended covers.
Here you go :
I'm using the mugen battery cover with kickstand and wireless charging with this battery. Perfect fit. They are only $19.99, but you have to request they send you the one with qi charging. Here's the link. http://www.ebay.com/itm/351003755089?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
