Installation:
1 - Play BootAnimation_MotoX the file to your SD or Internal Memory,
2 - Reboot into Recovery mode, CWM or safestrap,
3 - Apply the zip on the option Install from zip Card
4 - After the installation is completed only restart.
5 - Now it so enjoy
Second way of installation:
Extract the bootanimation of mod.zip and pasting the folder syste/media and soon after applying the permission 644.
restart.

Just tried with mine (CM10.2 on XT 925) and it's doesn't work. I have now a black screen

Figured out why I think, the desc.txt doesnt really point to anything, and the files in the zip are mp4, they need to be split up into images if I recall. Correct me if im wrong, but it wont work the way it is now, will try and convert it and get it running after I get out of work if nobody else does.

i got yours and end up stuck in bootloop, fortunately theres matt's utility to restore stock back.
spent some hours to restore back my razr hd.
u should tune up your file otherwise put some warning that it wont run on rzr hd stock 9.16.6
i tried fabio's and it works perfectly!!!

Same here - it seemed to install OK, but when I rebooted, NOTHING had changed. I still had the red Motorola bootsplash, followed by a custom bootanimation I had installed in data/local. Was I supposed to take that out first? In the past (granted, on different phones) the installation of a bootanimation that was setup like this one is, seemed to remove the bootanimation.zip in data/local and played whatever was installed by the flash as the bootanimation.

OK, so I place the AndroidBoot_Blue.zip into system/media and reboot - that's all that's needed? Shouldn't it be renamed to "bootanimation.zip" first?

Nope, you have to install via tenfar's cwm recovery...but if you rather install with root explorer, all you have to do is extract the bootanimation.zip from the /system/media/ directory in AndroidBoot_BLUE.zip and put it into /system/media/ on your phone and set the permissions to rw-r--r--, then reboot

To get them working you have to flash cm9 rom and putt them into system/app and set permision .

you sudnt be using apps from jellybean on ics
please dont use any apps from jellybean....all have been tweaked for jellybean specially....we still dont have perfect ics rom.....till we dont get a jellybean port dont use it....you will face lag,fc and unexpected errors.....
frankly speaking....you guys wont find that much of a difference....except a few system apps....

INSTALLATION:ULTRA Boot Animation-FLASH-RAZR-XT912.zip
-boot into safestrap
-wipe cache/dalvik
-flash zip
-REBOOT
-ENJOY
MANUAL INSTALLATION:ULTRA_bootanimation.zip
-use a file manager with root access (ES file explorer) to copy and paste bootanimation.zip into the system/media folder (or data/local).
-rename to bootanimation.zip (rename the original boot animation to bak_bootanimation.zip in case you want to go back)
-REBOOT and enjoy

I tried downloading through Chrome on my RAZR and it showed 404 error.
Now i tried from my Windows laptop, and it downloaded!
Wonder whats wrong !

Working on XT910 too..but no sound, well there isn't any sound files at all so..it's ok
