S Health APK for Galaxy S4 Mini - Galaxy S 4 Mini Themes and Apps

We all know that we were left behind with the S Health app in the Galaxy S4 Mini, rumor has it that it is downloadable from Samsung's app store but for now it is only available for US citizens and some European countries.
I found this APK over the net and thought I'd install it, and it works just fine. So I thought I'd share it with you guys.

This version of S Health isn't like the s4 one.
Here you can't count your steps.
I tried sending the original S4 S Health app to my s4 mini it is about 30mb but when I run it it is looking for S bands to sync with in order to track my steps.

Thanks for sharing :good:

What i found easier and better was to go to Samsung Apps > Categories > Apps for Galaxy > S Health, for some ppl that doesnt work so u have to go to Samsung Apps and search "S Health" The one from samsung apps looks more like the S4 but still cant get the walking mate job done. That may be because of a missing sensor on our S4 mini. Sorry for a looong post

Well at the time I posted this the S Health app was not available there, or it was just because of country limitations. Dunno.

Thank you. it's cool!

Yeah the S4 comes with an internal pedometer, the S4 mini doesn't. This means that no matter what we did, we just wouldn't be able to run the exact S4 S Health app in the mini.
Though there are cool pedometer apps that use the motion sensor. They use CPU instead of the pedometer, but you can fix that a bit by setting governor to powersave when all you want is the pedometer. Accupedo keeps track of your number of steps and keeps a day-by-day record like the S Health app.

App doesn't start with lollipop cm12

Elevation data missing !
Elevation and ascent & descent data is missing from S-Health on my S4 mini. Runkeeper does a good job of tracking altitudes however it consumes considerably more battery than SHealth.

Note 2 Multi Window Tool

One of the best features that separates the Galaxy Note 2 apart from the rest of the high end smartphones is the Multi-Window feature, where users can run two applications simultaneously, side by side. However, it is severely limited out of the box. Instead of allowing users to open any application in this Multi-Window there are only 13 applications that natively work with Multi-Window. For example you can't have your web browser and your favorite Twitter client side by side since Twitter is not one of the 13 apps available with Multi-Window. Well according to an article from phonedog.com, one can now root their Note 2 and use Paul O'Brien's automated Note 2 Multi Window Tool. This tool takes a list of apps and creates you an update zip (for flashing via clockworkmod) with a modified framework APK that enables your chosen apps for multi window support.

I think we're on our own. Going to have to wait for root and perform the mod that allows us to add any app to multi-view. I actually would not mine having a custom ROM that strips all the bloat and adds these features.

Im in the same boat. Verizonvtexhbsupport was unable to help. Samsung tier 1 said
U.S versions wont work till update. I explained it works just fine but I cant add any apps tobthe list. After 35 min with samsung advanced support, I was told I would have to wait for an update.
Sadly, proper multi-window function is not all we VZW customers are missing. Guess rooting will be the only way to go, unless their update actually fixes it.

The VZW rep at the store that I know pretty good said there is a update coming in January to expand the userbility of multi window. Dont know how true that is.

Thanks for the info, I spent some time on YouTube watching videos of the multi-window feature and everyone else had lots of apps, including facebook, twitter, YouTube, etc. I really hope the update comes soon!
While the Verizon version may need an update to add things like YouTube, chrome, twitter, etc, some apps just need to add the support more the multiview bar.
I installed super video and it was automatically placed in the multiview bar.

Not to discredit your friend, more to discredit the idiots telling him even vague timelines, I'd say it's very untrue
The built in multi-window apps make this thing nearly useless for the time being.

I think its an update behind the other Note 2s alt there is the possibility that Verizon also watered it down a bit but I think its the first.

Google Now, Everwhere.
With Open Mic+ for Google Now, access all the commands from anywhere on your phone. Simply say "Okay Google" or wave your hand in front of the screen. Screen on, screen off Google Now will be ready to listen.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
Google Now becomes more conversational as after a search just say Okay Google to start a new one. And even better get the answers to your questions while your hands are tied, or when you're on the couch, or in the car.
TOMORROW'S FEATURES TODAY
Everybody's talking about the new Open Mic features for the Moto X, but now any phone that is running Jelly Bean or higher can have the same experience.
SEAMLESS
Open Mic+ will run in the background and can be configured to start at boot so that it truly becomes part of the phone.
OFFLINE
Open Mic+ uses offline voice recognition which means less data usage and faster results.
100% FREE
We saved the best for last. Open Mic+ has no ads, no in-app purchases, and is free to download. So why are you still reading this? Try Open Mic+ for Google Now.
I installed it and it is working smoothly yet but the developer looks promosing... and the application too! You can check it out here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.RSen.OpenMic

Is there a way to theme this app to match the new always listening feature on the new Motorola X?
The tasker integration seems not working. It keeps going back to Google now instead of my Tasker task. Of course my Tasker allows external access. Please help as this is a huge thing for me.
this seems to have disappeared from Play?
Not on the play store. Would someone kindly post the apk?

[Watchface] Pokemon Watchface

New Pokémon RPG Mode and OpenVu Settings!
Battle each pokémon and defeat them to capture them! Once you've captured them, you can select them (on your smartphone) as your champion to fight other pokémons!
Beware! Pokémons can escape! Be cautious! Every minute a new pokémon appears!
Try to capture them all!!
Notes for full functionality:
1. To send messages to the Wear device (such as to change the color or to select a pokemon) you must have both, the smartphone and the wear device connected and with both screens active.
2. Sending data from one device to another only works on Android Wear devices, not Tizen or other Operating systems.

Hi everyone! I created a Pokemon watchface. It's based on the GameBoy color versions. Also if you're bored you can double tap it and start a "mini game" where you have to tap to attack and to be attacked (no animation for now). The problem is that Google Play won't let me submit it because of intellectual property (which is right because I just use the sprites).
What do you guys think of it?
Some images:
love it :3
Love it however would it be possible to get it in 12 hour format and on my Huawei Watch there's white lines that form a box around the watch face when in ambient mode

Hi, I'd love to help but my skills are very limited. How did you manage to do this? Did you develop and SDK for Gear Fit? Great job
cant see any pics
Amazing work, I was wondering if it was possible to make a Watch - Tasker integration, like TaskS2, being able to control Tasker opens a world of possibilities. Unfortunately there aren't any app.
A tasker for gear Fit 2. Really good idea Like ti use wonderist on that could be really great.
Hi, any news on you progress with apps?
Where did you post these apps? Or Source?
Hi @mayaxcn !
I'm glad to see some are actually interested in that, I wonder why there are almost no app for the Gear Fit 2 ?!??
Actually there is something I'd like to develop because I couldn't find anything like this, although it's so useful : a (very) simple offline GPS Navigator.
I actually bought this smartwatch because I went cycling with a friend who had an expensive sport smartwatch, he uploaded the route on his watch and then was able to see directions (without any map) and stuff on his watch without having his phone !
EDIT : Oh sh*t I didn't notice this post was more than one year old

Look how it works on my wrist

looks like for unknown reason, samsung kicked the filesmanager out of the store, and when you try to install from google play, you get an error message. i wrote to mobimax and the programmer, and he answered he will ask samsung what is going on...hope it will work again...or does anybody know an other way to install the filesmaster? ( i paid for it )
Any way to sideload filesmanager onto a gear fit2?
Is there anything new with the app? I recently bought one
