Having issues with Titanium Backup not working on 4.3 roms?
Here is a guide to fix backups/restores with AOSP 4.3:

Awesome!! Thanks Nitro!!!

Sweet. Tried all the other 4.3 builds, guess I'll try this one too.
Sent from my SCH-I545 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

All these camera settings are amazing!

Thanks Nitro / trying this out (build 2) after having 1.5 TW for some time / there were some minor map issues when using the navigation app which may or may not have been related to 1.5. I am hoping the battery life will be close to your TW build which was outstanding
I took off some of what I consider is unncessary (Keep, NFC, Hangouts, Live walls, and some other stuff) / We'll see how this plays out. But it's a really light rom (under 200MB) / Only things that I can't find so far is the button settings (close all?) and the Focal camera (unless that's the default (which looks great).

The Focal camera isn't included because this isn't CM. There are a few Focal.apk's floating around though if you want to install it. With the mods he made to the AOSP camera there isn't much of a need for Focal. Also there is a APK for the new Moto Camera floating around too, its installs just fine and works great.
Has anyone flashed any Kernels yet? Nitro, recommend any? So far everything is running great. Testing bluetooth shortly.

The map is the new map same as on my wife's s3. No more blue triangle you have to navigate through the app. Not ROM related. Also no close all button yet. And focal was not working 100% yet so since Nitro is about stability he removed it for now. But added a ton of new settings to stock 4.3 cam including save to SD and all sorts of goodies.

That's fine the AOSP camera looks fine so far... I'm gonna do some testing this w/e. Since my wife has an s4 as well, I'll be doing some parallel shots with her s4 (stock/rooted) and mine (Eclipse/AOSP)... I want to see if the camera is sw dependant.. The tw camera has some really good results. If the battery life and camera quality is up to par with 1.5 (TW), this will be my DD going forwards.
The only other issue I have (unless I'm missing it is how to 'close all.' I'm hoping it will be added later. Not a dealbreaker (the HTC One has the same 'issue' with regards to close all).It would just be a nice touch.
Peace
:: Edit - Is there an option for non-inverted. Personally, I think that they are easier to read I must be getting old. (My screens are black, but I like the apps in white, go figure.)

I looked but could not find the moto camera you are talking about in the app section. Have a link so I can check it out as well? Thanks in advance. I did search thread and found a few but not sure which is the new one you speak of.
This one? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2380199
But like you said the stock camera is great with the new setting nitro added.

or the close all recent apps?

Recent apps / notifications is ok.... sorry for the confusion.

Would love to see an option added to turn off LED on charging, unless I am missing it.

This is a pretty vanilla AOSP build. A lot of the features you guys are talking about are items the community has added over time. The "clear all" recents is not an AOSP feature. I do plan on adding it soon though. The battery charging light control is not baked into AOSP either. But I will probably tinker with that at a later date.

No worries, I'll take stability over features anytime.... Will know better in a few days after putting this through its paces

So awesome...I'm in.
Does the tablet navbar get any customization on this rom, I cant find a single rom that does.

This was the first ROM I used on my Droid X2. I will be trying this out later today.

Nice! I noticed this rom was also for the n7 over in the galaxy nexus thread so I headed right over! Downloading now curious as to what reverse tablet is....

Can u add back the stock browser?
Is this the same dev from black ice?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
This is an incredible ROM. As always, great work Nitro.
Unfortunately, I just can't stand the Phablet UI (Personal Preference) So back to Toothache I go. If this were to have the tablet UI, it would be the greatest ROM EVER MADE. Period. End of Story. No argument. Once again big props to you Nitro.
Awesome rom, love the darkness spread through the rom, but I'm getting a "unfortunately this has stopped working" on the google now app. As soon as I want to go to the settings I get this. Also when I want to know the weather in my area I get the same thing.

I thought the stock browser on nexus7 WAS chrome browser wasn't it?
I thought other roms added the other browser (the one with blue icon)

This rom is fast. I mean, seriously FAST. The UI is sick, and everything just works with not one issue thus far. I have been pounding on it for the past 2 hours. Excellent job, Nitro. Thanks a whole bunch.

This issue is a pretty easy fix.
Same issue was on the Gnex build, same fix also for until nitro can get to it
Download this
http://db.tt/Uz3FCdwx
Then use a root file explorer(or adb if that's what you are more comfortable with)
Paste in /system/lib
set permissions to rw-r--r--
Delete the lib file that is right above it that has nearly the same name
(The file size for the one you wanna delete is 6.99kb, the one you just pasted in should be 7.00kb)
(Note that I also set owners both to "root" tho o don't think you NEED to, its just all the other libs are set to that)
Then it should work. You MIGHT needs to reboot after pushing and setting permission but I didn't need to.
ENJOY!

I like both UI.
I just find that the tablet UI makes things like the play store not look right IMHO.to each their own right?
If this were a 10in tab I'd be all about the tablet over phablet.

A few seconds ago, tried to boot with dtrail´s kernel for 4.3 roms but nothing, just a green led for a about 10 seconds and then reboot...on system 2.
SD card not mounted for me

May I ask a question?
Why kexec ROM still needs to be classified into Gsm and CDMA??

Q, its this ROM same issue as long as 1080p rec and HDMI ??

its just another cm 10.2 based rom with all the bugs...
This is pretty smooth so far and I haven't encountered any problems! One question, how do you enable the "hold back to kill" feature?

Because both devices are handling a different devtree and also different baseband. But making a GSM PATCH is quite easy. I guess artur will handle it soon.
Thank you, Nitroglycerin! Very nice Rom!
To users,
Usually it should boot with jbx, but maybe there are new commits to the kernel source I haven't merged yet, or Matt changed something in the kernel. Let me check this.

Well, why don't you fix them then if it's "just another" one...?
I'm running 4.3 for some weeks and it's really stable besides of some minor issues.
- internal storage sometimes doesn't get mounted correctly, a reboot helps.
- camera is still without HD video. But Hashcode and dhacker are currently spending A LOT of their spare time for the future 3.0.31/3.0.88 kexec kernels which includes the latest Motorola ducati binary (the latest one supports no higher Kernel version). This will probably bring us HD video recording.
Rom, Kexec and Kernel development is very hard work! Please appreciate all the time which is being spent for this and support our devs!
If you want to help in fixing issues and improve the stuff, don't cry about bugs - help to fix them by posting logs, or donate to the devs or whatever else could be useful to help us. Thx

didnt want to be/sound rude... but its true - its just another one... most (if not all) of razr roms are cm based and have the same bugs... but ppl are asking the same questionons again and again... thats (ppl) a bit frustrating ;p thats what i meant ;p

Bug Reports:
Reporting bugs is important But reporting them properly is KEY.
If you think youve came across something that is not working as desired [bug] folow these steps to report.
1. RE-flash your rom cleanly and do not install gapps or restore anything. This will confirm the bug is in the rom and not a compatibility issue with your data or chosen gapps.
2. A logcat is very important for me to trouble shoot the bug ..
3 pull a logcat by connecting your device to the computer and open terminal then type adb logcat hit enter.
4 navigate to your bug and recreate it while connected and watch for a fatal exception.
5 copy the text apd use paste bin to share it with me.. after youve saved it copy the link and post it in the thread. Please ensure youve captured the fatal exception in the paste otherwise it will do no good.
same here
Looks nice! Downloading now.

Hi Droyd,
Yes, we all know about you striving for perfection
So a great thank you for this one...
I'll install it this very evening / night
One question though (do not mean to rush you or anything) but do you plan to release it for other devices ? If so, which ones ?
Regards.

Does this ROM have the problems of the other 4.4 roms? Like no compass in Google Maps, random bluetooth disconnects etc.

Dirty Unicorns is a custom ROM built with stability in mind and optional customization. The idea to start this ROM began out of pure boredom around 4.1.2 on the EVO 3D and later turned into a form of an addiction (a good one) to see where we could go from there. We have since expanded to more devices to include the HTC One, Nexus 5, SGS4 and many more. We quickly realize that users loved what we were doing as well as other developers because it was done the right way. We've always had fun doing it and take pride in knowing that we've done it without having to bug the end user for donations to pay for server costs and/or any of those sob stories you hear. This ROM is 100 percent free and will remain that way.
Those wanting to use our ROM as a base are more the welcomed to do so but please maintained the credits/thanks below, do not ask for donations as it wouldn't be fair to do so considering and let us know as we often like to contribute to other projects.
As stated above, we love to maintain authorship but we also like to publicly praise those that have helped us along the way with our wonderful project. With that said, this wouldn't be possible without the work and help of those listed below THANK YOU ALL!!
| OmniROM | AOKP | CM | ChaOS | Paranoid Android | Slim ROMs | Preludedrew | Team Black Out | Official Testers / Translators |
Please check our gerrit/github for full credits/thanks of individual contributorsBelieve it or not, we are human and we do forget things. If we have left someone out of the credit/thanks list, just PM us and we'll gladly add on to the list.

My data seems to not be able to connect. This happened to me on aokp too. Sense roms connect fine, so it's not anything hardware... Tried toggling cdma only, data and airplance mode already.
Edit: Issue seems to be intermittent. Occurs every so often. Not changing location either, just sitting at work.
List of small things I've found so far:
Screen recorder saves file, but I am unable to open with any movie player
Lockscreen notifications work fine, but disabling pocket detection still makes the proximity sensor turn on. Turning off notifications completely disables sensor. I did this to make sure it was specifically this option toggling the sensor and not something else. I've noticed this bug on all other roms that have this feature too, so it's not just DU.
I can't seem to detect any satellites with GPS test with high accuracy mode on. Maybe there aren't any in my area (this needs to be confirmed)
Still great work here. Very stable and smooth. Favorite KK rom yet.
(This post will be continuously edited as bugs are fixed/found)

This just made my day! Thanks Mazda - downloading now Looks nice
Update: The options! The Dark UI .... with inverted Gapps! and so many options! The mini pop up to answer a call over what you're doing, love all of it. Many thanks to you and anyone else involved in the project.

List of small things I've found so far:
One other thing, setting gestures in Gesture anywhere works fine, except the gesture drawn disappears. It still records the gesture, but it doesn't stay after it is completed.
Screen recorder saves file, but I am unable to open with any movie player
Capacitive buttons don't light up (might just be me)

Screen on with new notification on Lockscreen Notification does not appear to be working.
OmniSwitch freaks out if it's open while taing a screenshot.
I can't seem to detect any satellites with GPS test with high accuracy mode on. Maybe there aren't any in my area (this needs to be confirmed)
Still great work here. Very stable and smooth. Favorite KK rom yet.

- Gesture anywhere, that's normal. Like you said, it works and it works well
- Screen record, I'm aware of that and will look into it. I don't know why is broken on the EVO LTE while it works well on the m7, galaxy nexus and several other devices for guys on the DU team.
- Hardware key lights, I'm aware of this and should have a fix here soon. I'm compiling as I type this.....stay tuned
- Not sure what you're doing but.... http://i.imgur.com/nH8FRbc.png My suggestion is to toggle it on and off. Curious, are you using any xposed module?
- OmniSwitch, again....I don't know what you're doing but http://i.imgur.com/XB5TwLO.png and I don't see anything out of the norm. OmniSwitch as you see on the portal is very well written by maxwen and so it works well
Thank you for the feedback and glad you're enjoying the ROM

For the Lock screen notifications, I do get the notification but my screen doesn't turn on with new incoming ones. Still good though. Tried toggling on and off. I use closed modules yes. Main ones I use is Xblast.
OmniSwitch, it seems to rapidly flicker as I screenshot, but I was able to get a good shot eventually.
Edit: After a few more screenshots, OmniSwitch flickering has stopped.

New build is in the same folder as the download link in the OP
http://androidalex.us/HTC EVO LTE/DU 4.4.2/du_jewel_20140202-1545.zip
Will fix the hardware key lights
ENJOY!
I've been watching the source develop for some time on this one. I was worried the jewel was getting left behind, but it looks like you got it sorted! Good work sir!

Oh come on, I'm literally booting the first build right now! Can I dirty-flash this?
Edit: Is it just me, or if you hold the power button and then let go without tapping either "Reboot" or "Power Off" it does a hot-reboot or something?

Not happening here.
In other news, the second build posted hasn't fixed hardware lights for me. They come on when the screen is turned on, but hitting keys after that does nothing. This was done with a dirty flash. Will clean flash and try again.
EDIT: Figured out that the on and off light is controlled by current brightness. Wow, awesome feature.
Hardware camera button works for me in the camera app.
Menu key mapping to recent apps key does not work.
No way to remove the Google search bar?
Man, I've been on MeanBean too long. I'm trying to remember what features were Sense and what have just gone away.

Hardware key mapping works. Someone had to reboot to get it working. I didn't. Search bar is persistent in goggles stock launcher. Try any other launcher if you want to get rid of it.

Menu key works just right if you remap it to any key....
Also if you want the google search bar to go away using Launcher3 then simply go into it's menu and unclick it off
As for when using GEL, then you'll have to either revert back to Launcher3 or use one of many 3rd party launchers such as Apex or Nova

I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by Scotthart.bti. This is a build composed off of the CM11 builds and Scott has added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!
I plan on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back.

Install gravity screen on/off. Even free.
And enable the volume wake feature in cm. (Check a thread of mine on how to do it).
And you won't be missing the TB wake that much.

I forgot to mention, no mentions of j00m and the so called "j00m rom"(should be called the rip-off rom), or you will be reported.

You have that option on Lock screen>Shortcuts but it's not working with screen off (beside, you have 2 more option to turn torchlight on: power button and double tap status bar)
Missing trackball wake and trackball answer/hang up feature...
Thanks to all developers who contribute to make this ROM, Thanks @tommypacker. I'll play more with the ROM and give feedback later. Keep it up

As I started in the op, tb wake hasn't been implemented yet
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
I have curious about it
From what I read, is the property of CM but improvements are added perzonalización.
I like what I read, but could you add some screenshots?
I do not want to do the entire process of backup, downloads and stuff that no rom then assaulted me ...
Well, anyway, thank you very much for being back, TommyParker
Besides what I said earlier with torchlight don't work with screen off... :
High power torch (in power widget or app only) doesn't work - it' turning off after 1 second
Lock screen>>Widgets>Clock widget= force close settings
I can't made Slider torch to work...
Cannot find these settings:
- Dual Pane options
- Customizable boot animation (off, default, set your own bootanimation)
- .... Also includes battery bar
- Kill app back button with customizable timeout values
- Clock widget for LockClock including extra options to fully customize every feature of the lockclock (maybe is that setting which FC)
And doesn't automatically restore the apps from Google
Other than that the rest seem all right...
Apart from these, if you could implement trackball wake and trackball answer/hang up feature would be great!
Keeping testing...
Thanks!
Thank you very much, to prove

Come back with completions....
- Video recording didn´t work (it's showing that filming but doesn´t save)
- Active display don´t work properly: the lock ring overlaps with clock and it's hard to read the event
- Battery draining a little faster than usually
Questions... Which M2SD setting are the best for our N1?

For m2sd I just select dalvik cache because the Nexus One isn't my primary phone therefore I don't need much space. If you have a Class 6+ SD card you can select data if you need extra space. I don't think active display works properly on low resolution devices. I had the same issue with my Infuse.
