I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by Scotthart.bti. This is a build composed off of the CM11 builds and Scott has added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!
I plan on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back.

Install gravity screen on/off. Even free.
And enable the volume wake feature in cm. (Check a thread of mine on how to do it).
And you won't be missing the TB wake that much.

I forgot to mention, no mentions of j00m and the so called "j00m rom"(should be called the rip-off rom), or you will be reported.
Thanks

Thanks firstly.
The only thing I have to report is nothing yet.

You have that option on Lock screen>Shortcuts but it's not working with screen off (beside, you have 2 more option to turn torchlight on: power button and double tap status bar)
Missing trackball wake and trackball answer/hang up feature...
Thanks to all developers who contribute to make this ROM, Thanks @tommypacker. I'll play more with the ROM and give feedback later. Keep it up

As I started in the op, tb wake hasn't been implemented yet
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

I have curious about it
From what I read, is the property of CM but improvements are added perzonalización.
I like what I read, but could you add some screenshots?
I do not want to do the entire process of backup, downloads and stuff that no rom then assaulted me ...
Well, anyway, thank you very much for being back, TommyParker

Besides what I said earlier with torchlight don't work with screen off... :
High power torch (in power widget or app only) doesn't work - it' turning off after 1 second
Lock screen>>Widgets>Clock widget= force close settings
I can't made Slider torch to work...
Cannot find these settings:
- Dual Pane options
- Customizable boot animation (off, default, set your own bootanimation)
- .... Also includes battery bar
- Kill app back button with customizable timeout values
- Clock widget for LockClock including extra options to fully customize every feature of the lockclock (maybe is that setting which FC)
And doesn't automatically restore the apps from Google
Other than that the rest seem all right...
Apart from these, if you could implement trackball wake and trackball answer/hang up feature would be great!
Keeping testing...
Thanks!

Thank you very much, to prove

Come back with completions....
- Video recording didn´t work (it's showing that filming but doesn´t save)
- Active display don´t work properly: the lock ring overlaps with clock and it's hard to read the event
- Battery draining a little faster than usually
Questions... Which M2SD setting are the best for our N1?

For m2sd I just select dalvik cache because the Nexus One isn't my primary phone therefore I don't need much space. If you have a Class 6+ SD card you can select data if you need extra space. I don't think active display works properly on low resolution devices. I had the same issue with my Infuse.

Not to make a silly comment, but it's not the 27th as yet. In other news, the rom looks pretty sweet. Not able to try it as yet until I get back to work next week. I'll let you know what I think of it.

Ah - thanks!
No issue that I see on the power button to wake.
If a timing issue is there, I'm insensitive to it, so others' mileage may vary.
~~~~~~~~
Edit - ok - I don't _think_ I'm being lazy, but I may be _blind_ - is there a way to update PRL and Profile with this rom?
You can't do that on anything other than a sense rom. Flashback to sense then update and reflash. They both stick.
About F2FS i have no idea, i tried it a month ago and didn´t work.
F2fs and ART is a myth to save some time for..some people/salarymen.
Cannot you, people realize, that we already had properly working roms for our machines?
Just some modifications, and you would forget about kitkat bs.
But it WONT happen.
So go, buy new one.
Can't rule out Graviton CM Edition on the M8 one day (CM makes it a little easier to build for devices you don't own).
Flawless!
Works perfectly - I cannot find any bugs (full wipes...after coming from stock). Thanks much to developer!
I love how you provide screen shots showing us how the theme will look(for those that don't know)…after installing the stockCMtheme.
Mad respect for you UP, thanks for spending time on our N5s.
Haven't been a cm fan for ages. But am quite enjoying this. Great work.
I have played with kernels before, but that is not really my interest. I like UI driven modifications.
Thanks for bringing BeanStalk to us. This was my favorite ROM on my Nexus and S3.
Can't download either. The app opens to web view, clicking the arrow as directed in an earlier post simply reloads the page.
EDIT: derp. Had to turn off mobile view in Chrome to be able to download from GDrive. Google, really?
Very eager to try this out! Love beanstalk on my RAZR.
Sent from my LG-VS985
Downloads fine here. Thanks for the ROM :good:
YES! I love beanstalk
Daily driver. No doubt. Un-freaking believably fast.
One minor bug: if you disable nav bar when the keyboard is displayed, the line you are typing on is pushed up off screen. Disabled for now.
Before I give this a shot, can anyone who has installed it tell me if it supports CM Themes?
Can anyone tell me how to enable the transparent status bar listed in OP? I tried Beanstalk Options/Status Bar/Color and set to #00000000, but it didn't make the bar transparent.
I personally don't like solid bars; makes the screen look smaller.
Is the sound louder on this AOSP or is there away to make it louder?
Up and running great . is there a way to get double tap to wake working?
I just got it going as well and dtw works OK for me....
I'm checking into the double-tap and I just ran a new build that I'm hoping will fix the Display and lights settings crash.
I noticed a significant increase in max volume when using Viper4Android on this ROM.
(Note: same Viper settings were used on both this ROM and previous AOSP ROMs just to confirm a difference in volume)
Weres the Rom download I clicked the link right above the gapps link were it says 'here' and when I clicked it, it showed the build I clicked it and it didn't do anything
It doesn't let me download anything,
Screw'd was created to be a more optimized and speedy ROM for Nexus & Pixel devices. We combine the best features with a slimmed down base to give you one of the fastest, feature-filled ROMs available. Screw’d is updated, compiled, and tested daily to ensure that we use the latest, stable code base straight from AOSP (Android Open Source Project). This means that we stay up-to-date with Google’s security patches and features, and we’ll never add code that isn’t required. We also post ALL of our source code so you can see all of the changes we make, and even compile Screw’d yourself. Although Screw’d was originally created for Nexus devices in mind, it is possible to port our ROM to work with other devices. As proof, we have ported Screw’d to non-Nexus devices such as the OnePlus 5.
Great build... Thanks a lot dev... For bringing another rom for potter.. Spending your precious time on working for the development of rom.
This ROM is looking & running really nice so far, have just installed & setup but with no issues at all. You should mention the KCAL support in default kernel, and I also greatly prefer the stock/square-or-default-shape icons. Never thought I'd be this glad to get screw'd!
Very nice ROM still didn't find any issues working very well thanks dev
awesome job on putting omniswitch into this; afaik, this is the only rom other than omni that has it!
has anyone tested microg on this? also, my nano or higher on the gapps?
I'm using the micro 20180423 gapps with no issues, but don't use microg. Where is omni switch? I don't see any icon and can't find it in the custom settings. I'm using Lawnchair launcher though, so if it's part of the Pixel launcher that would explain why I can't.
Anybody having BT calling issues? I haven't flashed yet but want to try this out but that is important to me. If anybody tries please give feedback. Thanks in advance
I haven't flashed yet, so I'm not sure... I just noticed it listed under "Recents" in the info section... perhaps it's in Screw'd's custom settings?
No, omniswitch is not there yet but it may be planned to add in the future, maybe OP can say. I haven't compared everything else on the features list but believe most of it is available in the current version.
Yeah, just flashed and can confirm omniswitch is nowhere... irritating because that's the reason I flashed. Looks like it's back to Omni...
Can't receive or make calls!!!
I'm retired & mainly use my land line but noticed today that incoming cell calls weren't ringing but going straight to voicemail, then when trying to call vm the call immediately ends, and trying a couple other outbound calls the same thing happens. Restored my Validus backup and all calling is working fine with the same exact setup. It may be something just affecting me or a bad install, but are others able to make/receive calls ok?
EDIT: Problem solved by resetting preferred network type to Global, had changed it to LTE.
I have seen this issue with the ROM, as well. I clean flashed and mobile network was not working (att). I restarted and the network came back. You may want to try that. Once working, it seems to be stable.
Had the exact same issue as you, was traveling at the time and my data just crapped out. Couldn't reconnect even after reboot, only changing roms fixed the issue. US unlocked 64GB variant and cricket wireless.
I found the problem which was self-inflicted - under preferred network type I had changed it from Global to LTE (usually there is a different short 3-choice list there where I always select LTE) thinking it was set incorrectly, so after reselecting Global my cell calling works fine. Actually my cellular data was working well despite that wrong setting yesterday while I was out, but I didn't use it for very long.
Not here - made no cellular setting changes. After first boot, radio icon was empty and calls/texts were not possible. WiFi was fine. I cold booted phone and all is well, since.
