Screw'd was created to be a more optimized and speedy ROM for Nexus & Pixel devices. We combine the best features with a slimmed down base to give you one of the fastest, feature-filled ROMs available. Screw’d is updated, compiled, and tested daily to ensure that we use the latest, stable code base straight from AOSP (Android Open Source Project). This means that we stay up-to-date with Google’s security patches and features, and we’ll never add code that isn’t required. We also post ALL of our source code so you can see all of the changes we make, and even compile Screw’d yourself. Although Screw’d was originally created for Nexus devices in mind, it is possible to port our ROM to work with other devices. As proof, we have ported Screw’d to non-Nexus devices such as the OnePlus 5.

Great build... Thanks a lot dev... For bringing another rom for potter.. Spending your precious time on working for the development of rom.

This ROM is looking & running really nice so far, have just installed & setup but with no issues at all. You should mention the KCAL support in default kernel, and I also greatly prefer the stock/square-or-default-shape icons. Never thought I'd be this glad to get screw'd!

Very nice ROM still didn't find any issues working very well thanks dev

awesome job on putting omniswitch into this; afaik, this is the only rom other than omni that has it!
has anyone tested microg on this? also, my nano or higher on the gapps?

I'm using the micro 20180423 gapps with no issues, but don't use microg. Where is omni switch? I don't see any icon and can't find it in the custom settings. I'm using Lawnchair launcher though, so if it's part of the Pixel launcher that would explain why I can't.

Anybody having BT calling issues? I haven't flashed yet but want to try this out but that is important to me. If anybody tries please give feedback. Thanks in advance

I haven't flashed yet, so I'm not sure... I just noticed it listed under "Recents" in the info section... perhaps it's in Screw'd's custom settings?

No, omniswitch is not there yet but it may be planned to add in the future, maybe OP can say. I haven't compared everything else on the features list but believe most of it is available in the current version.

Yeah, just flashed and can confirm omniswitch is nowhere... irritating because that's the reason I flashed. Looks like it's back to Omni...

Can't receive or make calls!!!
I'm retired & mainly use my land line but noticed today that incoming cell calls weren't ringing but going straight to voicemail, then when trying to call vm the call immediately ends, and trying a couple other outbound calls the same thing happens. Restored my Validus backup and all calling is working fine with the same exact setup. It may be something just affecting me or a bad install, but are others able to make/receive calls ok?
EDIT: Problem solved by resetting preferred network type to Global, had changed it to LTE.

I have seen this issue with the ROM, as well. I clean flashed and mobile network was not working (att). I restarted and the network came back. You may want to try that. Once working, it seems to be stable.

Had the exact same issue as you, was traveling at the time and my data just crapped out. Couldn't reconnect even after reboot, only changing roms fixed the issue. US unlocked 64GB variant and cricket wireless.

I found the problem which was self-inflicted - under preferred network type I had changed it from Global to LTE (usually there is a different short 3-choice list there where I always select LTE) thinking it was set incorrectly, so after reselecting Global my cell calling works fine. Actually my cellular data was working well despite that wrong setting yesterday while I was out, but I didn't use it for very long.

Not here - made no cellular setting changes. After first boot, radio icon was empty and calls/texts were not possible. WiFi was fine. I cold booted phone and all is well, since.

FAQ
Gapps is causing the error "Unfortunately Setup Wizard Has Stopped".
Have you read the Install Instructions? Flash gapps immediately after the ROM. That means do not reboot to system after flashing the rom and then go to recovery again and flash gapps.
How do I install this ROM with Dualboot Patcher?
Follow these instructions carefully.
1. Install DualBoot patcher apk, open the app and go to ROMs section.
2. Set the current running kernel as kernel for Primary ROM (The app will ask you to do so)
3. Download CM13 and go to "Patch zip file" section.
4. Patch the ROM (for OnePlus 2 choose "Data Slot"). (ID: insert anything like cm13. It doesn't matter though)
a) Primary ROM upgrade (You can patch zip for Primary ROM if you want to flash primary and don't destroy second system.
b) Secondary (Not usable due to small System partition)
c) Multislot1, 2 , 3 - (Not usable because /cache partition is too small).
d) Data slot - Use this!
e) Extsd slot - (Not usable)
5. Flash patched ROM with TWRP.
6. Reboot
You second system should start.
How to switch between ROMs:
1. Both ROMs need DualBoot patcher installed, in "ROMs" section you should see ROMs list.
2. To switch the ROM simply go to TWRP.
3. Click Install.
4. Click Image option (Bottom Right Corner)
5. Go to /sdcard/Multiboot/<your rom name>
6. Select boot.img
7. Click boot partition.
8. Flash and reboot.
9. Other ROM will start!
Login with Google does not work in some apps.
Sometimes, on a fresh wipe, the phone language will be set to an invalid language. Changing it to a valid one from Settings should fix the issue.
Battery Statistics shows that Wi-Fi is always on even though I've turned it off.
If you are using "scanning always available" in Advanced Wi-Fi Settings, then Wi-Fi will always be on to scan for available network to aid location discovery.
How do I enable root?
Root is now disabled by default in CM. To enable root, first enable developer options. Then enable it in Settings -> Developer Options -> Root access.
Can you include Feature X into your ROM?
No. This ROM will have CyanogenMod's feature set.
Can you include Cyanogen OS's apps?
No. Cyanogen OS's proprietary apps are not a part of the open-source CyanogenMod. You can, however, download C-Apps directly from Cyngyn and install it.
Can you include call recording?
No. The open-source version of CyanogenMod does not include call recording to avoid potential legal issues.
What kernel does this ROM use?
A slightly modified version of the stock kernel, the source code is linked above.
Can I use your ROM as a base?
http://source.android.com/source/licenses.html
Most of Android/CyanogenMod is licensed under the Apache License with other small parts licensed under other open-source licenses. Which means that you may modify and redistribute without asking for permission as long as the proper credits is given and it is not misappropriated as being the official CyanogenMod. (In other words, you must say that it is based on regalstreak's unofficial CyanogenMod, but is not related to CyanogenMod in any other way. Also, please mention the credits that have been mentioned in OP as they have worked too hard to get this ROM too.)
Can contacts be saved to phone/SIM?
No. It is not supported in AOSP-based ROMs.
Can I send files over Wi-Fi Direct?
Yes, but you must use third-party applications. The implementation provided on Samsung ROMs is not an open standard. AOSP/CM does not provide a native way to send files over Wi-Fi Direct.
Can I mirror your ROM?
You're free to. But if you ask me to mention your mirror here, I don't know if i will do so.
Will feature X from a previous version of CM be implemented?
I don't know, probably will be, eventually. I don't really involve myself in the feature-set side of CM.
How do you type so much?
Actually I didn't type this as a whole. I took inspiration from @pawitp's threads that I used to refer earlier

Please stop asking questions that are clearly answered in the first post, I've seen plenty of people like you piss off DEVS and then they stop development.

Installation instructions
-- You have to be on a firmware that has the new partition layout(merged partitions). If you are on kitkat, use the nubia updater tool to update your phone to lollipop.
-- You need to have my TWRP 3.0.2 installed. Download recovery_twrp_f2fs.zip from my folder and flash it, then reboot to recovery.
1. Download the latest rom(20160815),recovery and gapps (i prefer opengapps/pico).
2. Flash my recovery, and backup your files.
Warning: The next step with completely wipe your /data partitition, including the internal storage files. Take a backup first.
3. Go to Wipe menu, check /data and press advanced wipe, change file system and use f2fs. Do the same for /cache. This will not be needed again when updating to my new releases.
4. Copy the files(rom, gapps) to your phone's internal storage or sd card.
5. Wipe cache,dalvik,system,data.
6. Flash the rom, and then flash gapps.
7. Reboot and enjoy.

A Few Words

Hi, Is the dual sim and 4G working fine in this rom? Can we also have some screenshots?
Dual sim works fine. Not yet tested 4g (I'm always almost connected to Wi-Fi)

Hi, Can you please check it when possible?
4G, 3G have an exclamation point next to them. I have tried to set different preferred network types with no result.
Apn settings are correct. I also toggled off wi-fi, flight mode on and then off and then mobile data on.
Sadly nothing works!
3G works fine here... I could see a glimpse of Lte a couple of times but the signal was too weak. Today I should be able to check 4g

I had mobile data (Cosmote Greece) with the previous rom (Cuoco92 5.1.1 v3.88 3.1).
---------- Post added at 11:44 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:52 AM ----------
Well that's odd. I switched the sim card to slot 2 and 4G works.
I just use the defaults.

New release in mega folder, a bug that has long plagued marshmallow roms on z7 mini should now be gone.
Which bug was that?
Running the latest and so far no issues (apart boot stuck after having optimised the apps)

Mic in skype and facebook messenger was not working till now in any 6.0.1 rom, thanks to paolow8's help I fixed it for both Z7 mini and max.
Ok that's why I never found this problem... I never used these apps

Great rom ! Thanks!
Some apps light notification doesn't work . Except its no other complain for 4 days.
A report of the offending apps as well as a logcat would be a huge help in resolving the bug. How's your antutu scores?

Antutu 3d 52220 As I remember , tested on LightX 3.83 - 45000 but I'm not sure it was antutu 3 d.
Notification : light+sound + status bar are working on missed call + messages only . For all other apps are working : bar notifications ( if set) + sound. It's not an annoying matter , I'm glad that other bugs are gone . Bugs as : start camera when phone are in pocket - and battery is drained ; random reboot phone when into pocket ...
4G does work in this ROM. If you got issues make sure to double check that only one card is set to 4g modus. If that is not the case, set them both to GSM only and then re enable 4G networks for the card where you want mobile data.

This is typical marshmallow dual sim behaviour, setting network modes manually is needed as well on my Z7 max. As for the camera problems, disable it from the resurrection settings configurations - buttons tab. There is a setting about camera activation there, get it disabled to prevent it from getting enabled on random times.

No plans to add LOS SU, Magisk is the preferred root solution and that may be built in at a later time. I'll take a look at Google Camera sometime tomorrow.

I've been searching for a stable ROM to switch from stock. Looks like this is the one.
Thank you for your time and development of this ROM!
One question tho. Can you explain more about the "HardCore kernel" and can I flash ElementalX kernel instead?

Hardcore Kernel: Thread Link, best explained here.
I only use kernels built inline with my ROMs, so I don't know if EX (or any other) will work or not. That you'll have to try at your own risk to find out.
This 6p is my only phone, so I will go on the safe rout.
Thanks again
Thanks ??

Ok, thanks. And that reminds me (I can't believe I forgot!) Don't use the reboot QS tile to reboot recovery, it will force a Factory Reset and you'll lose your data if you don't turn the phone off in time. Crap, can't believe I forgot to post that!!

Better wait little more to download this ROM.. Maybe you forgot something else...
But next release I will jump on the boat :good:
Thx for your time you put into this and thx for sharing
Thanks for your job...
One question, could you add the mod to turn on the flashlight with long press on the power button ??
Thank you.
Would it be possible to add a way to disable the battery saver color change and the camera gesture vibration?
Thanks for the great looking ROM.

IKR! That's the only major issue, I've had this ROM installed on my 6P for the last 5 days. I'm going to run the risk today and try to get a log on the reset thing, may end up just pulling the tile.

That feature should be implemented in the future, I've already brought it up to the FireHound ROM team.

I would just disable the QS tile in case someone mash it by accident. Also what adjustment did you do on the stock camera? For future updates, can we dirty flash or will that update be done via the essentials app?

Thx.. Then I will wait for your news in this regard... Btw rom is downloading anyway...3 little questions :
1. Is unlink ring and notification tones included?
2. Is long press power for torch present?
3. I believe caffeine and partial screenshot are available?
NepoRood said:
VERY IMPORTANT: Do not, I say again: DO NOT!, use the QS tile to reboot recovery, it will force a Factory Reset, rebooting system works fine, but recovery is still derped.
Current Vendor Image: February 2018 (OPM3.171019.014) Link
This ROM is using the Hardcore Kernel (Thread) by @scafroglia93, which is currently upstream to 3.10.108
Working:
Pretty much everything seems to be working, for me anyway (including VoLTE and Bluetooth)
Proper functionality requires a Nano GApps package (linked above, if you don't have it).
Known Bug(s)/Issues:
Above mentioned QS tile reboot issue (DON'T USE IT!!)
OTAs via the Essentials app are still being worked on
SELinux is running in Permissive mode

I'll do that, going to remove current build from AFH, new one will be up soon. Camera is described in OP, and dirty flashing should be okay, unless I post otherwise (I will test 1st)

Hey brother really great rom so far it runs really fast and smooth! Just one question, i love the always on option and I checked it in the havoc settings as well as ambient display and I dont see always on working? Is there something else I need to do to get it working? Thanks again for a great rom!
Nevermind got it working
Too many options - sticking on this one
I never thought I would say this but there are too many build options for this device. I have a few favorites, including Havoc, RR, CRDroid, and MSM Xtended but find myself trying others, only to find either nothing new or include issues addressed long back in ROMs I favor. I don't know why folks feel the need to build the same code, and maybe change colors or the boot logo but I wish more bright minds would focus on a few of the good options, already in play. Another pet peeve, while I am whining, are release note/comments that say "fixed stuff, and things I forgot". i know, I know, beggars can't be choosers, but where is the pride, man!
Great job with the Havoc option! Excellent (complete in my mind) options, and super stability. I think that RR has a few more tweaks but the additions are not interesting enough to ignore some of the minor issue I have found.
I wish that some bored tech nerds would take the time to build a table that lists all features/options on each posted ROM and checks off those that actually work or bring value to the overall experience. I would do this (I am a nerd) but don't have the time.
Sorry for the soapbox but loving this ROM!
Yeah I agree, I dont know why this rom is not more popular,,,it literally has more options, the best battery life, and the fastest one out of all of them and believe me I have tried them all. There is a option for fingerprint swipe for notifications just hope that gets implemented in a future update that would be so sweet!

Only thing that i didn't like is android p look i wish i can have oreo look like old havoc builds.
I was like that at first but, then I ran this for a day or so and really liked the new P changes. It will be coming so might as well adopt it now. I like the side volume indicators and the my Substratum themes run fine on them which I thought there would be problems with the new layout. If they find a way to add swipe for notification then I will be really glad I didnt hold on to my Pixel phone. That is the only feature that I really liked on it.

Oh okay cool,,,no worries just saw the option there and thought it was possible. Also, I think the lockscreen settings with regard to text weather sizing resets after a reboot. I will do more testing to make sure.

This ROM is very good, beautiful, light and fast.
I just had two problems (which prevent me from being in it now):
1 settings> screen does not open (settings force close)
2 could not put root (neither by magisk, nor addonsu, nor supersu) was in infinite looping.
And sorry for the English (google translator).
Okay, just finished installing it, everything seems to be working for the moment.
Feels fast and neat. I just hope the battery life is good too
Thx for your work dev, much appreciated.
