Sounds like you flashed the wrong ROM for your device (touchscreen not working is a first sign of that), try using the methods from these threads to get everything working again:

Hope I've helped you

If you have the xperia mini pro and flashed the mango version there should be no problem regarding the device
Try flashing the stock rom using flashtool and see what happens. If it's still not working try to use the methods listed in my thread on how to fix a broken touchscreen

Hmmm...you should NEVER DO FACTORY RESET unless the dev of the ROMs said so....that the reason why your touch screen and soft keys didn't works....

Solved
Pls follow the correct procedure and flash the correct rom and check the md5 of ur rom.
If u wanna do a factory reset then do it 1st otherwise dont do at all.
I m using pacman too but dont have any prob.
If u r coming from other roms then do a factory reset then clear the cache and dalvik then mount the system and flash the rom.
Then clear just cache and dalvik and flash the gapps. Then clear cache and dalvik again and fix permission and reboot the system.
This will clear all the problems

That's it. A custom kernel is a boot.img no .ftf
You need an unlocked bootloader to flash it in fastboot mode. Please just check my guide on how to install a custom rom/kernel and do a lot of reading before flashing any rom/kernel

After flashing this kernel my neo v gets rooted on .62 stock ROM ....
but will this rooted ROM work if i change the kernel to something else like nightelf stock kernel .... ???
or have anyone tested it yet ???

Root privileges are integrated in this kernel. So you will not stay rooted almost for sure, if you flash another kernel which is not prerooted...

You will be able to update normally to ICS using PC companion, but to be ablolutely sure, you better relock your bootloader before the update...
@bbooff: few days ago I flashed ICS beta from sony page, and I used your kernel for hot boot just so I can install zip with superuser stuff.
Today I flashed stock .62fw, and wanted to hot boot with your kernel, but no luck, I needed to flash it in order to boot into CWM.
You got any idea why id did cooperate on ICS and not on clean .62
Also I couldn't do factory reset while I was using your kernel. I guess that is kinda normal as it's not stock kernel, but still I thought it should work

I have no idea!
The opposite is what should had happened.
I think that if you reinstall 0.62 (using flashtool and not wotan) and then my kernel, everything will be o.k.
If you install a custom kernel, you can do a factory reset through the cwm menu.

After I flash your kernel I can enter cwm. problem is if I try hot boot it.
and about factory reset, I know we can do it via recovery, but is it normal that we can't do it from phone?

it allows you to boot with kernel without flashing it.
your kernel is very good.... simple and easy... helped me restore my phone back...
But now i am facing one more problem...
whenever I try to install any other kernel through fastboot, that kernel does not work; instead your kernel starts booting up...
Can you please throw some light on it?

[Q] Help me the Custom rom don't work on my Neo.

I have my Neo from a few months and I'm so proud of it. But, in the lasts week, I'm excited to receive the ICS update, so I can't wait and I tried to flash some custom rom on my NEO. First of all I have the .42 firmware stock with root and CWM installed with bootloader locked.
Before i tried to flash a custom Rom, I have unlocked the bootloader. And everything going well, but I try to flash 2 different Custom Rom both with the same result: in the reboot after the flash the NEo is stucked on the Sony Ericsson boot logo animation for an indefinite time, and i don't do nothing except to unplug the battery. So i return to the stock rom using flashtool.
But I really want to tried this custom rom based on ICS, anyone can hellp me?

i think the problem is causing because ur r flashing ICS custom rom directly on GB... flash stock ICS ftf file using flashtool, flash any custom kernel in fastboot mode using flashtool suitable for the ROM u want to flash (custom kernels has built in CWM), then goto CWM, wipe everything, flash the ROM, done... now that should work..
goto Settings > about phone > baseband to check the baseband's version

reflash the stock .ftf installed on your device when touch was working fine and see if your touch works
if not
reflash all the available stock .ftf s to make sure if its a hardware isssue or software
no need to say if these didnt work its probably a hardware issue and get your phone to sony servive center

I tried all ways
using Quickimg flashtools and using cmd but all was the same
firs time when i get the phone and it was on official rom .631 I rooted it installed Nxt kernel using quickimg and installed Honami rom and it worked fine
But after some days I want to install jb roms and as I remember I installed Lupus jb kernel and after that my touch stopeed working I have tried al other kernels available for neo L but no one has touch working.
Even in Nxt kernel with honami rom that i used first time with no problem , it has no touch
the only way I have touch is with official roms....

Have you used flashtool???
also does touch work when you use the TWRP in turbo kernel or is it only when you boot into the system?
