Try Lgcamera, can be found from the market. Lots of settings to tinker with especially on the pro-version. Supports hd too.

its giving this strange error

Just tested lg camera pro. Installs get no errors but will not take photos. Camera works set to full hd record but playback was a shocker blurry and small not full screen, so not working as well

Just tested again. Seems to be working. I have set it to full hd but looking at the details of the video file doesn't tell me if it's full hd. Have to transfer to pc and check full details

I tried a.free version of LG camera n it gives.me that error I mentioned above ..
I'll buy that app after your PC check..

The lg camera is indeed recording full hd. But I have also tested the cm7 and I cam confirm that it is also working at full hd recording. On the other hand lg has alot of options and setrings

I don't see what lg camera has that the stock camcorder doesn't....
I have replaced my stock camera app of "qmobile noir a8" using root explorer with another camera app.but when i open the camera app every thing works right but front camera dont work it closes the app when i click front camera icon.after that i replace this app with my stock camera app using root explorer but it dont install the app please give me right camera to replace:thumbup:

you mean you replaced the stock camera in /system/app?
if so, reboot your phone and it should "install" that stock camera app back (it just refreshes the system i think)

The new camera app doesn't support the front facing hardware.

This is a camera and gallery from the Nexus devices. It has everything including photosphere. Just install the apk.

Is this any different than the GPE files pulled in June? The only thing not working well was the video recording.
I'm not sure when I tried it I saw that the video was kinda blurry
I tried this on my Xperia sola and it's working nicely. However, the panorama mode is not that good. Was the 360 panorama feature supposed to work? Because it doesn't work on my phone.(stock Xperia ics ROM.)

Do you mean photosphere? I tried it mine and it works. Try to reinstall the app. Also when you install this app do you get another gallery and camera icon?
i use cm11 custom rom,but bad the camera (image Quality) :crying: Is there any camera app which is compatible with phone? which make a nice picture.

Hello Friends i am using Micromax a94.. In official camera app both front and back camera's are not working but if i install any external app like retrica or Pixlr.. Front camera is working in those third party apps.. But how can i use my back camera.. Please help me guys..

if i were you i would contact the manufacturer. its a possible defect on there software. or worst case could be the hardware
I gone to service center but they changed software and saying that both front and camera's were spoiled.. U must change both camera's..
