[Q] Weather widget with detailed information? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I love weather apps, but I've yet to find one that I really like that much. A lot of them are pretty good, some have this function or that function but none of them seem to have everything.
Anyway, years ago I used an app called PocketWeather on Windows Mobile and used a skin called Wonder Skin. It looked like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Notably it has humidity, pressure, forecast, current conditions (inc wind), temperature graph etc.. It had everything at a glance, I rarely needed to look into the app at all for this.
Most weather apps I can find today just have some current info, mostly seem to be clock widgets + some weather info.
Anyone seen any weather widgets with more details on them? I don't really want to get into the complexities of making my own with something like UCCW but I'm pondering it.
Thanks!

I played with UUCW, just built-in functionality.... Its weather providers suck, plus no more information than I already had from other things.
I guess I'll eventually just do it entirely in Tasker/Zoom.

Lockscreen weather and notifications

I've been looking round for a bit, ever since I got my nexus 7, for something with a nice clean interface, where I can view all my notifications, the weather, the time and maybe some other things, but i've not found anything that suits my needs.
Android has a beautiful lockscreen and, especially on tablets, has quite a bit of spare room. I realise that lockscreen notifications is going into Apple territory slightly, and have no idea if the addition of this by Google would cause them any repercussions, but I think it would be a nice feature for them to add to this increasingly beautiful OS.
I had a few minutes so I threw something quick together to put my thoughts across as to what a good lockscreen notification system would look like in my opinion.

If anyone has seen something like this that I have missed, please let me know. I think this would be a nice addition to the lockscreen.

Looking 4 calendar widget :)

Hi! Im digging forum for some cool callendar widget (like on stock touchwizz from samsung) whitch shows whole month with labels visible. Stock callendar from Samjung is not visible after installing custom launcher. Maybe someone have a solution how to make it visible?
Thx in advance
I have the perfect solution for you: Business Calendar, search it on google play and download the free version. It does exactly what you want it to.
Wizz widget is good.

Forget these other options and get APW calender and agenda. Like you, after leaving touchwiz for cm10 I desperately needed my calender widget back. I found it and a crapload more with APW. I really like the time line widget also. It puts your Facebook, Twitter and more into one timeline.
I was also seeking a widget 4 a long time. Now i found Clean Calendar Widget pro and I'm really satisfied.

Can someone make sense of my data usage?

So I after a long time saw what apps were consuming data on my phone and its rather disturbing what I saw. This is one month's figures.

Why on earth is talkback using that much data when I dont even have the service enabled??
Next up is nova launcher prime. I did grant it permission to collect data but that much in just a month??
Next up is beautiful widgets, again why on earth does a weather app need to use that much data??
Next up is clean master, I dont even use it that much so how could it be using that much data?
The last one is actually the most shocking one "MultiTouch tester" app because I havent even opened that app in like months.
Is it really normal for apps that gather data to do it that much in a month? Not only does it seem a problem with privacy but also with battery life under wifi. Remember all of these apps have many downloads and great ratings on the play store so its not a case of them being shoddy apps.
What is your opinion on all this?

[Q] Widget: show certain part of a webpage

Hello,
Is there any way to display a certain part of a webpage in a widget on home screen with a manual (or auto) refresh button to sync it with the website?
For example, I have the following website and want to only show the table I circled in red on my home screen.
Please advise on this.
Thanks for your help.
Code:

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
You'd have to make your own widget as I doubt that there is one that already exists for the website you want.

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Thanks. I understand that. I am wondering if there is any program to do the above for any website? Essentially, what I am looking for is a method to set a portion of a website on the widget. That portion could be anything (image, header, ...). In my case, that is the table.
Thanks again for your help.
I highly doubt that there is one, and, if there is one, it likely doesn't work particularly well. Each website is made differently, and sometimes there is a lot behind the scenes that makes the site work (i.e. the HTML isn't necessarily going to be complete by itself). Your best bet would be to make a widget yourself, or to find one online or through the Play Store.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Looking for weather ( rain forecast ) app with widget lollipop

Hi,
I am looking for an android lollipop app with a widget who shows me the chance for rain.
On a Desktop PC, I normally use google.de and just search for "wetter" ( German for weather ) and then i get this result:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
( You do not get this on google.com and need to force to use google.de if you are outside of Germany to see this results. )
Now I looked hours for an android app that has a widget which looks like a compact version of the google result but I could not find one.
Does anybody know an app with a widgets close to the the content which the google search results display.
I really enjoy the graph who shows me the rain chance trend for the whole day.
I would not need information for other days just for today.
Here is a screenshot of my screen with 3 real weather widgets and on the bottom I used microsoft paint to fake an app with the information
I would like So if somebody can give me a hint to an app who can do something more or less similar
