I am a fan of his early work. Thanks to him again.
Just a comment of my own about his kernel.
Samsung stock roms do not allow to charge while hook to the PC!
There is a reason for it as I understand. When your battery is empty the load of your Tablet can approach 2 Amps !!!!
Your PC's USB Port is designed for a maximum load of only .5 A.
So as you see an empty battery in an tablet could overwhelm the USB Port by trying to load 4 times more (2/.5) than the available .5. This could put unnecessary overload in our USB Port that could result in unnecessary heat stress in our PC. ****
I have test Bindroid V3.0 and I personally like the rom. Due to my personal opinion, I have make sure that my tablet was fully charge or close when I did plug it to my Laptop.
*****Edited to prevent disagreement due to my personal opinion with my buddy MobiMikes. The original sentence was:

This is an unofficial build of CM10.1.
This is an attempt to stay close to official cm10.1 and not make crazy hacks to make things working.
This is a pure CM build, only contains official CM features. I will not add any other external feature/app/etc.
LegacyXperia is intended for advanced users only. All the info is in the Wiki. If you still have questions for basic things like "how to install the ROM", better don't use this ROM.

Battery drain

Hey have small question.
There was in changelog some time ago SELINuX part 1 , part 2, part 3. So as I understand you started implementing. So why it is not enabled?? It is hard to implement or impossible to implement nd you left this??
Just my curiosity.

From the FAQ:
Q: Why phone crash by repeatedly tapping the SELinux-status in the "About phone" settings menu?
A: Because SELinux support is not complete for our devices yet. It is enabled in kernel & userspace but it's missing the device specific configuration.
Why is this a unofficial port?
LegacyXperia 10.1 is pretty much bugfree compared to the official CM10.
It should be official in my opinion.
There are many people who don't know that CM10.1 is available for their devices.
it is unoffical because is not released from cmteam and is not available on their website. CM9 or CM10 were officiall as supported by official cm team. That is why. Correct me if Im wrong

This official cm team you mentioned is FreeXperiaProject, and they aren't supporting our devices anymore.
So why isn't LegacyXperia official now? (newer, better, faster)
In the cyanogenmod wiki they say we need to encourage unofficial porters to make their ports official.
Is there anything I am missing here?
LegacyXperia is great, so please make it official

Hi,
just one question - why one nightly comes after another? Shouldn't there be some release ver. instead?

thank you sir, for all you done.
Thanks for bringing more kernels for Lollipop
Hey all,
I know this is the Lollipop Thread but I see the other one barely had any use since September of 2014. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to download this kernel on the "old" 4.4.4 KK for CM11 on the HTC One M8 Verizon variant. I am not using MultiROM but may in the future. What are people using as their settings? The Furnace Kernel I'm using doesn't allow for MinFree Control. I could edit that manually but I'm not well versed in that. Thanks!
Always dig having more kernels to choose from!

Does GPE not work with the existing kernels? It should, I think.
CM is a different story, but some of the custom builds *might* support it.

So are you saying the GPE kernel works on CM? I'll have to see if my kernel works on CM then, since I use AnyKernel, it uses the ramdisk from the ROM. Unless that's not what you meant.

yes, the source works on both. just remove the pronto driver from being built into the kernel. for some reason i couldnt get the stock driver to load. once i removed it being built in, it grabbed the stock module

what i meant was that if you had the commit to add cafs pronto/prima into the kernel like cm does then you just have to remove it from being built in. but looking at your source, it should just work. no problem.

There isn't any atm. The best you can do now is root your phone and remove stock bloatware.
Any word on the G316M? It's just plain Ace 4 as far as I know. No idea about the chipset though.

Man, i just CAN´T STAND this stock SM-G313MU rom anymore. Even being rooted, this damn rom can´t understand what is external sd card and what is internal memory. I´m SUFFERING day by day trying to move things to sd card just to keep this sluggish rom running.
Call_UI suffers badly and craches at every call.
It has so many problems that i´ll take forever just to list them all here.
I´m feeling helpless without cyanogen mod on my G313MU phone.
Got a whisper on the wind about a rom convertion program that compiles a custom cyanogen mod rom by comparing original firmware and custon ones, but the guy just took it out of circulation due to bugs and has no time on his hands anymore to update the program.
I guess i should begin walking the long road of learning android development.
For me everything mentioned works expect the Bluetooth,SM313HU.

but How flash it? Please put a custom recovery or Introduce a custom recovery.
Edwin Hamal, that's strange, BT works perfectly for me, could you provide adb logcat output?
Arrow_Strider, That's really pain in the ass to at least get device to boot. I would try to compile CM for this phone, but i really have no time now :<
if you are about extsdcard write permissions, those can be easily fixed.
CallerUI never crashed when i was using stock, weird.
benis4, here's a philz recovery that i compiled recently for flashing using odin, ik i should have made topic for this one.
Bluetooth is working fine problems now is the codecs and also fb freezes it and device itself freezes from time to time!

It is possible, but someone that has to do the porting.. I would do it if I had the phone to test it with. (And a faster computer..) Even though the model number is similar, it has completely different hardware. As far as I know, SM-G313HU is the only phone I could actually develop on for some extent, because it is virtually the same as my phone. (SM-G313HN, single SIM with NFC)

Still can't see the black text of the first two posts on my black themed Tapatalk. Definitely not a problem that affects the majority, but it may be confusing to some as the post just looks blank.

Just tried this again today. You're right. Wi-Fi will not switch on with Vegito.

I tested this kernel a little while ago and don't recall having any problems with wifi. You can test it easily though by flashing it. It's always just a flash back to Trapkernel if you run into any issues.

Hmm...Can you tell me exactly what you did? To go back BTW you can just flash Trapkernel in the AP slot of Odin.

just flashed the vegito zip in twrp. would only boot back to twrp after that, so tried flashing the boot.img i had pulled from monstro rom (which im currently on). same result, so i then flashed trapkernel via ODIN, but still no boot. i haven't done any factory resets or clean installs yet cuz i'm at work. will try later tonight.

If it's automatically booting into TWRP instead of Android, then you're in a recovery loop. More info below:
As far as I know, the only way to cause a recovery loop on this device is to select "reboot to recovery"(instead of regular reboot or just powering off) from somewhere either in TWRP or Android. To fix, if just flashing Trapkernel doesn't work, then try flashing TWRP again as well. Sometimes it helps to uncheck "auto-reboot" in Odin so you can flash them both on the same go. Assuming that you didn't at any point flash anything in a slot other than the AP in Odin, it should get you booting again.
After that you can try flashing the Vegito .img file to your device. Steps for that below.
-----------------
INSTALLING VEGITO:
-----------------
1) Download the Vegito boot.img file to your device.
2) Reboot into TWRP.
3) Click on "Install".
4) Click "Install Image" button.
5) Navigate to the boot.img and select it.
6) Select "Boot" from the next page to let it know you're installing a kernel.
7) Reboot and enjoy.
If I have the time I'll do a pull request adding CPU Governors InteractiveX, Smartass, and SmartassV2 as I already have the code and files on hand after adding them to the stock kernel. Have to flash and test on my own device for bugs first.
After a user of this phone model contacted me via pm about the way root is handled and if I knew a way around it forcing root on every boot
quote on quote his words, I took a look at your git and theres only 1 commit? Like you predid everything then uploaded it and made 1 little change after..
That really makes it unable to help or fix any problems you had with other stuff added?
If anything the user would like to know why you're not using systemless root, it's far much simpler

Thanks @Bulgaricus. However, phone can no longer be detected by computer through USB. Could be because of other reasons or maybe just my phone but please check this or advise. Progress in the right direction.

Initial USB setup is set as charging you must manually set it as media storage. Oh i got it man... be sure to set ro.sys.sdcardfs=false in your build.prop, that thing will lock down your entire phone
I have tried Kernel V2 on my A500M, and everything seems to be working nice. So smooth, no issues playing online games and GPS works great. BUT I am having a problem with the sound. It's like the phone is mute but with the headphones i have normal sound. PLS HELP!
pd: I appreciate your work a lot, it's excellent

Hey it's ROM problem. RR is for 5H and it has proper files for A5H
The sound problem in A500M was my error. Because I flash RR on STOCK 5.0.2. Now I flashed RR on 6.0.1 and everything works great except that sometimes the touch screen stop responding and you need to wait a few minutes or restart your phone.
Hey man when you build krenel for a3 los 7.1.2?
Bro when is coming a new update?

How could I be so stupid? I think am just too old for these things or just dull. I will soon give up. Honestly how could I forget that? I cannot understand.
I just pushed 2 new builds for RR, A5FU and A5H kernels read changelog to see what it changed
As alluded to already by others, there are issues of root and vibration that have ensued. On my phone I am now unable to root phone with super or magical once kernel (latest or earliest) is installed.
ok i installed it on my 500fu with the RR and my physical buttons don't wake up after it wakes up
hey man...you support a500f variant soon?..jusk ask and wait for final..
