So why are you still posting here? Just to tell us that we made the wrong decision? well based on the reviews I read, and the videos I watched MY decision was to buy one. Therefore I am participating in this community and hoping to get more information that contributes to my purchase and at the same time offering what positive points I can to help others.

The 16gb is still on the US playstore.I guess Walmart is getting most of the 32gbs.

I'm just not seeing those as negative reviews. They hit on all the same "it's not an iPad" talking points, but as an Android tablet user since the original Galaxy Tab through the Tab 8.9 LTE and Nexus 7, I pretty much discount most of those points.
And the performance issues don't worry me based on what I've seen, it seems capable and at least as fast as a 1280x800 Tegra 3 tablet, and far faster than a 1280x800 Tegra 2 tablet. I really don't like Android gaming, so if it browses cleanly and handles video playback well, that's all I need.
Frankly, I bought it for the display and AOSP. Wish it had removable storage, but so far that's it for my list of negatives.

I just ordered mine as well. Strange these still are in stock considering how fast the Nexus 4 sold out
I just placed an order for a 32GB one.
About half an hour to an hour earlier there were none for sale.
So I think they're currently sorting through all the multi-order shennanigans from earlier.
Order status though is 'pending'
Snagged up a 16GB one, I was planing on getting the N4 first then this but guess I will reverse the order, who knows when the N4 will be available again. Play Store in Canada showing the 32GB sold out now.

That was 9:23 AM PST when the order finally went through. Right at 12 hours ago.
I'm not holding my breath on getting it this week, since it looks like it's coming out of Toronto. And why do they ship stuff to Toronto that probably came off the boat in Vancouver from Korea/China to start with? I mean, seriously, my Nexus 10 already passed through town, now it's got to come back?. Seems like it would make more sense to warehouse it at the port of entry.

It will change the location to Texas, states at the time of shipment. Happened to me twice when I ordered my nexus 7's back in July and September. Took 4 freaking days to ship as well

Upgrades
The phone has only just gone on sale at p4u last Friday, for new contracts only. Upgrades are soon they say as I'm waiting for it. O2 had exclusive when it was released. A mate just got it on O2 upgrade.
I'm on Orange and if the store mgr of the p4u shop I went to had not checked I would have it now, checking again this Saturday.
Afaik Orange are not offering it direct yet.
FYI the 32Gig is the HTC one x and the 64Gig is the HTC one x+. I was tempted with the one xl for 4G ready but only 16Gig mem and the s4 CPU are the turning point for me.
With 4G not really going to be prominent in the UK for at least 12 months, I thought it best to get the x+.
The lack of sd port is not very nice and was tempted with the S3 LTE and note 2 but just love the sense UI. So I guess I will stick with it

The phone on orange will either be the One X they are referring to or most orange/t-mobile stores are selling the 32GB HTC One XL as an upgrade to the HTC One X so you they might have meant that.
I thought that HOX+ was only 64gb but they do make a 32gb version too!
I'm really not sure whether to hold out and see what comes in a few weeks/month or just get the 32gb.
I currently have a 16gb SD Card in my DHD so I'll be doubling up.
Any p4u insiders know if 64gb is coming?

the 64 gig IS onsale at P4U on NEW contracts only atm. Im gonna see if i can get it tomorrow on upgrade as they said it would be a week to two weeks tops for it to be available there

just spoke to P4U on there call centre, they CAN do upgrades online straight away but they dont know about the shops, looks like its time to go and see them, and EE shops will do there std phones plus the 4g stuff, orange wont offer the Hox+ yet because they just got a job load of Hox in

Update: Just received the phone, some things of note. The ATT version does not come with a headset (kinda sad about that). Charger, micro usb, phone and sim tool are included. Along with quickstart and warranty. Back of the phone has a sticker with IMEI and Serial # info. Phone is covered with plastic, so be sure to peel off the back the screen, the top, bottom, and side bezels, as well as the volume up & down, and lastly the power button.

chat reps don't know what they are saying. I would never trust them.... every time I have tried I get 5 different answers from 5 different reps... The details tab says up to 32 GB which leads me to believe it is 32 (24 available)

Nice looking case on this phone. I'll have to remember that one if I do end up with a G2. I'm going to try to hold out for a month or so and give the Nexus 5 a chance at my money.

AT&T Version:
Non removable battery 3000mah
32gb built-in memory, No sd-card slot
capable of 4g LTE speeds.
International Version:
Removable 2400mah battery
sd-card slot available
Has 3g capabilities but incapable of 4g LTE
If I were to pick i would pick AT&T only, i don't want to loose the LTE speeds. There are instances where i would get 50Mbps down and 20 Mbps up with AT&T versions. This is impossible with international versions in united states.
It has been a great experience having a g2 for a week but the only reason I will have to go back to my m7 is storage. Wish I had been able to get a 32gb one instead of 16gb. But will be on the hunt for one. Not very common in the uk by the looks of it at the moment . Shame as I love the phone especially the screen and camera.

Wow, that's really disappointing. In the U.S., it appears to be the opposite situation: you'd have to hunt to find the 16 gb version (and why on earth would you want to?). Even still, 32 gb fixed feels a bit limiting sometimes when ~1/3 of that is taken up with system files. I'll have to get into the habit of moving pics and videos off the camera.

Even at 1/4 that's a lot. I was surprised when I first looked and saw how much space was already taken.
Well hopefully I have found one now by the weekend so a bit happier now. Would be better if all of them were the same as the f320 Korean version. I can't fault this battery life and screen size. I just like the phones size and feel.

In the G2 Accessories Forum there is a thread about a mini microSD card reader that can plug into the bottom of the G2. It can handle up to 64 GB. You might want to look into that.

I bought the 32 GB version (coming from a 16 GB S4) and I really can't say I'm lacking space. If you are thinking about getting a G2, go straight for a 32 gig one.
Well hopefully after the 3rd attempt and an ebay dispute I will get my hands on a 32gb g2, so can wave goodbye to my 16gb. All I need to do now is get htc to sort out my htc one which ups has lost. Lol

Been with it for a couple of weeks and - unfortunately the 16g limitation bites VERY HARD.
So. Migrating elsewhere. Good phone but feels a little half baked, and the Camera is a let down.

With the camera mods on here the camera is a lot better and does me fine. I think future updates will make this better. I can't fault the rest of the phone. Screen, speed and battery life are a big + for me.

Did look at the Korea version but didn't want to sacrifice the battery even though it is removable and my phone insurance wouldn't covet it where I am.

Actually, you can technically modify build.prop on any phone to change your phone to look like an LG, sign up for box, get 50gb, then revert the build.prop back. Not that anyone would do that. But you all have LG, so it doesn't matter anyway.

She wasn't allowed to reveal that much. But if you're planning on jumping, do it in store since it'll go by a lot faster. I doubt they're going to sell out, so pre order is not needed
I'm not pre-ordering a darn thing until I find out whether it's got a locked boot loader or not.
If not, then I'm leaving AT&T [and my grandfathered-in unlimited data plan] who definitely has the locked boot loader.
Was a nice surprise for me when it came up for me as 0$ down and 27$ a month.
The locked bootloader might not be too much of an issue but would be annoying if it is.
With them not lockinng down the S4 or the note with the recent updates I am hoping this one wont be locked.
I guess we will find out on the 11th
